Nice selection in a cool atmosphere. A nice background is jazz music and cool art create a good vibe in the heart of the Bishop Arts District. We took our cigars outside and listened to buskers on the corner as we enjoyed a summer evening.

Outstanding cigar spot in the city! Nice people, solid cigar knowledge, a classic and comfortable setup with no lounge fees and a good humidified space and selection. Ventilation is good, light oldies in the background, and BYOB. I was impressed by the amount of ownership that was present, the types of events they have put on, and the added benefit of a great burger/taco joint that will bring your order for you. You can rent a cigar locker here, too. About 45 seats in the house, so they can handle a crowd. A very comfortable place to enjoy a cigar.

Top quality old fashioned cigar lounge without the hustle bustle of traditional shops. The ambiance is very tranquil and relaxing with nice furnishings. The soft jazz playing is a nice touch. They have an excellent selection of boutique cigars vs mass produced brands

This place is great. Not only do they have an amazing selection, but the people there are really nice and helpful. I always like to try new cigars. And so whenever I go there and tell them what Im in the mood for, they make recommendations that I always end up enjoying. Great place.

It was ok. Helpful staff. Not very welcoming tho. Wanted to buy more, but felt a little uncomfortable with the employee following me in the humidor and watching me, almost felt rushed. Other than that, like I said, it was ok. Might go again if Im in the area without a cigar...

If you are a person of color this isnt the spot for you. Ive encountered distasteful service at this cigar shop. Ive addressed my negative experience with management Russ (the shop owner) and he apologized. Unfortunately, we still live in a society where discrimination is the driver for how we treat humanity.

I had this place on my list for a while now. Went out to support my friends that had an event Hiram and Solomon cigars with owner and his rep. Live jazz music.... dominoe games... beautiful weather. Nice chill spot free of TVs... I wanted to watch some March Madness but it was a nice break from TV. The area is trendy and full of life...Bishop arts district. #LetsGuide

Fantastic cigar lounge/shop with an amazing selection on cigars. Charles, who works there was super helpful finding me new cigars based on the ones i used to smoke and at night we enjoyed a good hang amongst friendly, domino playing locals. highly recommend this place !!

Open early, hand crafted cigars on location, BYOB but who needs that at 10AM, music is jazzy and light, perfect spot for me.

We were wandering around the district after Christmas, and passed by the store, and my husband noticed what it was. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, the atmosphere was fantastic, and we came away with some great cigars!

We discovered this most excellent cozy cigar lounge during our first ever visit to Dallas. The owner was very helpful and friendly. They have a wonderful assortment of boutique cigars including Caldwell and Room 101. Thanks again Russ, I will definitely stop in on my next trip to Dallas.

Great cigar shop. They stock mainly brands that are boutique and small batch. Employees are exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable. Lounge is very comfortable and inviting. BYOB and they will provide ice and glassware. I couldnt live this place any more. Best cigar shop in Dallas hands down.

I once left a 5 star review, but have now edited it a one star and will not be returning. This used to be one of my favorite spots to visit and relax in.I recently visited with a dear friend of mine and we both love cigars and the culture surrounding it. The venue for Cigar Art is ideal for intimate conversations. My friend was smoking a cigar as we walked in (and we both knew that it might be taboo, but wanted to to purchase one in respect to the establishment). We walked pass an older gentleman who works there and he didnt say anything.We walk into the humidor and a lady enters and kindly states that hes not allowed to smoke inside the humidor. He respectfully asks if he can leave it out in the lounge and apologizes. This lady states that she HAS to be in there with us (hovering) and we no longer felt welcome.We purchase 2 sticks total and the older gentleman who was near the front check us out. He kindly asks us,What are you gentlemen up to tonight? I tell him,We came here. Reiterating the fact that we want to support this place.I go use the restroom and as I was walking towards the front where my friend is to sit down and enjoy the 2 cigars that we purchased, this gentleman respectfully tells us that we cannot sit inside with the outside cigar my friend brought us because their new management has a strict NO OUTSIDE TOBACCO policy. He tells us that we can use the table outside.This is understandable, but its the fact that he brought it up AFTER we purchased our cigars and did not make us feel as welcome patrons. Had I not already cut and lit my cigar, we wouldve asked for a refund and left without making a scene.This is not a review that I wanted to leave because I did really enjoy visiting, but it was out last time. I am not pleased with the way the new management is running the shop now because it doesnt seem as though they trust their patrons.

The owners Marco Kelsi and sometimes Russ are one of the sweetest and down to earth people you will ever meet, always willing to teach you everything you need to know about the cigar world! Its BYOB and they own a great hand picked selection of boutique cigars.

The direction that cigar art has towards customer lately is disappointing. Cigar Art has lost the customer focus needed to sustain a loyal customer base.

They have memberships that include humidified locker rentals, storage and discounts on every purchase made. Recent upgrades to the humidor have improved the moisture in lockers. Good place to get boutique cigar brands. The humidor isnt overrun with the biggest brands. Great place to try a new band. They dont allow outside cigars, even if you are buying from them. Place is BYOBPro tip, get a cafe con leche or Cuban coffee right next door at El Senor then come to cigar art and smoke.

Im my business ( cigar salesman ) I travel all over the world visiting shops.Youd be hard pressed to find a cleaner shop with a friendlier staff.Do they carry many off brands absolutely.At one time or another have all cigars been an off brand? Absolutely.I suggest you try some and you might just find a hidden gem.Great Shop!!!!!

I was greeted immediately when I walked into the store. The owner was very friendly and took the time to give me several suggestions based on the flavor profiles I like. The shop is a amazing on the inside. Very comfortable setting. I definitely would recommend to others.

There was a very recent unfortunate experience with that occurred in this establishment with the owner that is not worth mentioning. I can’t in good conscience recommend this place. The cigar community is normally one of inclusion, but this place missed that memo.

Good atmosphere and decent cigars. Not a lot of ventilation, but it hasnt been seemingly overpowering any of the times Ive been in there. The biggest disappointment is that they do not serve drinks. However, they will allow you to bring your own. Which is a Plus.

Great place. My husband loved the people there, the random conversation was top notch caliber with interesting people. You can also byob and everyone there would share and pair. Great place for a connoisseur or a beginner. Not to mention that it is in the heart of one of the coolest neighborhoods in Dallas

Just stopped in to look...staff very friendly and knowledgeable...walked out with a few cigars to sample. Will definitely stop back! Great atmosphere too, but didnt stay.

I went here to have my first cigar, I told the attendant this, and he was in fact extremely helpful in easing my way into the whole experience. He presented to the selection and even recommend some. After I had chosen a cigar he cut it for me and proceeded to help me light it. The overall experience was great, from the service to the vibe of the place.

Went here this past weekend with friends and had a blast. Met one of the owners (Russ) and he made us feel right at home. We forgot to bring our own whiskey so we went to one of the local fuel stations and bought some canned light beer...LOL!!! I was a little embarrassed to be sitting in a cigar shop drinking beer from a can, BUT, we made it work. Russ, thanks for your hospitality and well be sure to be drink appropriate next time were there. I highly recommend this place.
