Mike Frio is the best mechanic in LA! He takes great care of my car. Mike really cares about the longevity of vehicles, not just quick fixes. Hes honest and hard working. And his team is top notch!

Drove by, saw their sign on Manchester and decided to drop in for my smog check. They looked busy but Cliff got me in right away. Very friendly, efficient, and first rate experience with no frill waiting area resulting fair prices. I will now consider Frio Automotive for all of my maintenance needs.

I know we have discussed auto repairs before but I really want you to know how honest Mike at Frios is. My son was told by a dealership he needed around $700 of work done when he was at school. Mike just called and said the car is fine and does not need anything. I really appreciate people you can trust! They are on the corner of Venice/Sepulveda.

I needed to know whether to drive my brothers car to Washington or donate it locally. I asked Mike to change the oil and check the car for I5 readiness. Mike evaluated the car, provided an unbiased and in-depth assessment, wrote up a reasonable and fair estimate coupled with his concern for my safety on the road. The overwhelming evidence that I would not be safe on the trip even with thousands spent fixing the car led to us deciding that changing the oil would be foolish. So after spending well over an hour with the car I walked out with the advice I needed at NO cost and donated the car immediately. What can I say? It was exactly what I needed to know with understandable communication and documentation to support the expert opinion. My hero.
