Relatively new in area, saw a news article about a woman who is a mechanic for 60+ years. I stopped in to schedule an oil change, and met Nancy. Although not active in mechanical aspect, we spoke and had great common conversation. After scheduled service I found it refreshing to meet and speak with her and the mechanic whom she questioned to assure all was checked. We shared some stories, reminisced some common area knowledge. Great personality and very happy with service.

I had an amazing experience with Nancy! She was very sweet and explained every little detail about what they did to my car and why. She even gave me a ride home so I didn’t have to wait the 3 hrs at their office. 10/10 recommend

Nancy, the owner, is just phenomenal! She always explains the overall health of your car, any issues she is seeing so you can plan for down the road, and what they did to repair and keep costs under control. She even gave my daughter an overview on basic car maintenance when she bought her first car. She just treats you like family. In this day and age, having a trustworthy car mechanic is a rare thing. Super thorough and detailed when telling me about what was wrong with my car and why it needed to be fixed. She wanted to make sure I made a well-informed and thought out decision, and agreed when I ultimately decided that it wasnt worth the money to try to repair the car. She said she wanted me to be safe and walked me through what I need to do when I get a new car. Very friendly and genuine!

Nancy is the BEST mechanic in northern illinois. Period. No further discussion. I took in my moms car when the check engine light came on and the dealership wanted $150 just to diagnose it. She narrowed it down all the way to one sensor and had it replaced, fixing all of my problems! Less than $100 and this car functions better than when I first got it, and she even spotted a loose control arm that a family friend mechanic installed and fixed it for us on the house!

Nancy is nothing short of AMAZING. She is a straight shooter with a warm personality and great sense of humor. You can trust her implicitly and know you will never be taken advantage of. She is prompt, courteous and does a great job on your car. Shes better than any other place Ive been and I love the story behind her shop, too...was taught cars by her uncle, named her place to be first in the phonebook, etc. Definitely the place to go!!!
