Went for an oil change and as I was driving there my front left tire pressure low light turned on. Turned out there was a crack in the stem and they were able to fix it. I went to Top Notch for the 1st time Thursday for an oil change, since my last good repair shop Ive been going to for many years recently closed. I was a bit cautious trying a new repair shop after so long, but afterwards felt relieved I had went here.Everyone there was friendly and they did an awesome job.Even though this first visit was only for an oil change, anyone meticulous with their vehicle or has a low profile sports car, knows how easily things like painted wheels and a front lip can get scratched up even for something routine like an oil change if the people working on it arent extra careful.The owner Owen clearly takes great care working on these types of a vehicles, and there is absolutely nothing to worry about if you have a car where potential body scuffs are more prone to happen if someone was unfamiliar with working on low profile autos.They earned my business and Im glad I found my new repair shop from now on. I just wanted to leave a review of my experience, so others who may have a bit of OCD with their cars know they can rely on this place.

Came here after reading all the good reviews and got really disappointed. My car was in a fender bender two days prior to the visit. Started to rattle and vibrate right after the accident. Told them to check for any damages to the drivetrain. The only thing Steve did was plugging in the computer scanner and told me something I already new for over two years. Didn’t even wanted to here what happened just started to repeat over and over the same thing. He might be good with oil change or his handy scan tool but nothing more. Really disappointed!

As the owner of a trucking company down time is one of the hardest things I have to work around, knowing before hand that they don’t work on semis I called Owen on a Monday afternoon around 4pm knowing he closed at 5:30 hoping to get the recently repaired a/c system on my semi recharged before I had to leave for a trip to Texas the next morning. Been going to Top Notch since they opened, always a pleasure! From a custom hand welded downpipe for my aftermarket turbo Impala SS, hand cut and welded stainless-steel crossover pipe (a work of art in itself) for my AMG Mercedes to oil changes and work under the intake manifold for my WRX, the work is more than fairly priced and without peer in my experience. I send my father there for all maintenance on his Kia Soul and would recommend them to anyone for just about any service you can imagine. There are many shops closer to my home, but I drive the extra (7) miles because they have always gone the extra mile for me and my family!

Top Notch has always been super reliable and flexible when making appointments. I recently got my tires changed here and I was more than pleased with the aftermath. The Top Notch team always checks up on my vehicle after any repairs and I have always had exceptional customer service when talking to any employee. Highly recommend.

Went in for a simple oil change because a coupon was sent in the mail. I went ahead and scheduled it for a week ahead of time, the service took a little longer than an hour and afterwards they proceeded to tell me the car needs over $1,700 in repairs. Then they tell me my parents can call and talk to them.. as if I’m not an adult. After telling them I only want the oil change I left, we got to the car I noticed grease on the leather seat, steering wheel, shifter knob, and seat adjustment buttons. After driving with a greasy steering wheel I got home and it all wiped off pretty easily except for the inside fabric on the drivers door frame, that is stained. This place is a joke that’ll try milk you of your money, and leave your car dirty after a lengthy service. I don’t care to hear what the owner has to say because they should’ve cared the first time.Update: I noticed my oil was leaking a few days after the visit, it is a matter of fact still leaking. They also never deleted the code so my car has been displaying “Service Due” every day since. I never took their offer up because the oil stain was faded from me scrubbing so a mobile detailer would be pointless. It just never should’ve happened in the first place. Like I said before, this place is a joke. Unless you have a Corolla or a Civic.. they might have the capacity for that.

Owen and team was truly top notch. I went in for a custom muffler gone wrong (from a different shop). I was really pressed for time as I was leaving on a road trip...they were able to order all the parts needed by the next day and got the work done that same day for me.Owen stayed in contact with updates, showed me pictures of the work he completed and re-did what the previous shop did all wrong. The right parts, the right way and cleaned everything up the way it should have been.What was even better, the team followed up with me a few days later to make sure everything went well and that I was happy with the work he did.Top Notch is 5 star. I bought tires from Tire Rack, choose them as my install shop and Tire Rack shipped the tires there. I received a phone call from Steve when they took delivery and set an appointment for installation.I brought new wheels and TPMS sensors with me and they were happy to assemble, balance and mount them on my Cadillac. (Many shops will not deal with parts they didnt sell.)In summation; very friendly and helpful shop. Highly recommended!!!EDIT: I failed to mention just how refreshing it was to deal with someone that is passionate about their lifes work. Steve is truly a wealth of information regarding tires.

I have had my 2005 LeSabre and 2012 Sorento both serviced within the last month. One for a wheel bearing, and the other for sway bars. Let me say that the service I have received has been next level. A quick Google search lead us to Top Notch Automotive and Owen and crew have been our go-to shop since. These guys are terrific. They diagnose and fix problems quickly. Steve at the front does the homework to make any repairs as affordable as possible. Moreover, they have a couple rental cars that they don’t charge for so you have wheels while your car is out of commission.This is NOT a mechanic shop that tries to upsell you. They stick to the facts—the realities of what’s going on with your vehicle. I’ve been in and out with just an oil change many times because that’s all my car needed at the time. However, if there are problems, listen to them! Or, ignore them at your own peril! I’ve been guilty of doing the latter and the result was eventually requiring my car to be towed in during its most recent visit. My choice to kick the can down the road resulted in a significant engine repair (crank shaft position sensor among several other things). The good news is they hooked me up with one of their free rentals so I could still go to work and live my life. If only I had listened to them sooner and heeded the warning signals on my dashboard, then maybe it wouldn’t have been a major repair.I drive a 2003 Honda Civic which has begun showing its age at times. Every time I go to Top Notch, they turn the clock back 5-10 years on my vehicle. I trust Owen, Steve, and the team because I’ve benefited from their track record of results. As long as I live in this area, I’ll be going to Top Notch for all my auto needs.Terrific job as always. They also helped accommodate me with one of their rentals while I was without wheels.

Things took a turn for the worst. Two upper control arm failures and an awful alignment.Took it over to these guys and they had me in and out faster than most places.Alignment is spot on truck no longer sways or pulls. Taking my work here from now on.While I was here I overheard they also install radios, back up cameras, wheels and tires and entire headlight assemblies.

We took our SUV to their shop. Convenient drop box for evening drop off, prompt evaluation of what needed to be done and a fair price for the work. I never felt like they tried to recommend tires we didnt need, but instead asked us for how long we were thinking about keeping the truck, before recommending them.
