Their website mentioned the laptop is ready to ship. It has been over 3 weeks since I placed the order, it still has not been shipped. No one there has a clue when it would ship.I saw that the same model was available on newegg, I have been trying to reach gentechpc to cancel the order, with no one answering the phone or email.
Good service. Before ordering, I emailed them for advice because I dont know enough about computers, and Ken had good suggestions of SSD. (Turns out that NVMe SSDs top of the line in 2020. Well I would have missed that without Ken.)
So i wanna put this review here cause i ordered a laptop from these store, but didnt check the reviews on the website, and when i did i got a little worried.Well just have to say that everything was awesome with the purchase ive made.It took the 5 days as they said to get out of the store and then another 12 days to get to the destination, but everything went well and this store custumer service is something. They do have patience with their costumers and really just leaving this review here so that people know that this is a good place to buy a pc.
These guys are praised across the internet, besides their Google maps rating. These guys will take care of your product at a fair price. Highly recommend! Ask for ken!
I dealt with Ken when I ordered my laptop. He was really helpful and knowledgeable on what was better choices between different upgrades. During the time I ordered, they had some really good promotions. Overall I would gladly recommend using this company when ordering a custom laptop.
Worst Service Ever Had, Laptop Not Received After 3 Months, Not Responding To Mails, Scam, Stay Away
Update:after multiple emails, reviews on social media, and credit card dispute Ken responded and overnighted me the correct working part. Thanks.original:Paid $1600 for a laptop, they sent a broken POS. Its been weeks since 8/24/17 when Ken said they started the replacement process, and my replacement still hasnt been sent out. I paid for a fully working brand new expensive laptop, but now they want me to pay for replacement parts and shipping both ways too! Why am I being punished for your mistake GentechPC?!?!
