Carl that takes orders at the counter and the employee in the back are so sweet and accommodating. My fiance has been coming to this mom and pops shipping products for years and I have been for two years. Carl is really professional and treats us respectfully. Many times we can call to make an order and pick up our order and pay right as we arrive. The man in the back was sweet enough to again cut the foam pieces which is perfect because that is the only way it fits in our car. I believe they either have a new lady answering calls or has not been there when we arrive, but she does seem more serious and not as friendly as her professional coworkers. My fiance made his order up front and I informed our good friend in the back our order, so I came back to the front to make sure the order was correct so that they can close the store right on time and for the weekend. The lady was not kind because she put her finger up on my face and said I could not enter as I popped my head in with my body out to ask my fiance to make sure of our order. I informed her that I just wanted to make sure of our order as the man in the back was helping. This place deserves praise and utmost respect, so it is a shame if they have hired a serious and ill-mannered lady who could have told me as I ran right up to where the door was and starring at me, she could have said something on my way up instead of on my face that was just by the door and not a foot in the door. Before arriving she answered the phone saying they will not cut the foams in half and that we have to do that ourselves which is not correct because we get that done all the time, but the lady was being strict and not helpful when I called in to try to make our order. Carl usually has our supplies ready to go, so we had to run and rush as we commute from LA back to OC. Carl is very understanding and kind when he answers the phone and with respect. Anyways, this is a great location because we can call in and have our order ready before we arrive, and get respect from the men. I hope this location gets more attention and support. I think its important to support our local store. Also, during Covid they started selling toilet paper which is sweet since they wouldnt otherwise carry it. Carl is super chill and a good friend, so I hope everyone can make packaging materials from here. They carry many things including edge damage protection shaped cardboards to clothes hanging cardboard for packing/moving. Pickwick is our corner, so we hope to do much more business with them.

Ordered 1000 cardboard pads. The cut wanders off by a half inch, looks super lazily done, like they used a dull blade cutting them. It barely works in the situation I use them for. If you need precision with paper products look elsewhere. Disappointing.

Love this place. So not high tech! But that’s part of the charm. Neat & organized & pleasant help. Great prices. Don’t hesitate if you need packing supplies.

They have it all at prices that usually cant be beat.

The prices were okay. They had a varied selection. The workers were exceptionally nice.But once I got all the packing materials in my Jeep, I noticed how bad it all smelled. When I took it back to the house, I was informed that the packing materials had a very sour smell.

I walked in hoping to buy post-it note paper pads. I found out they don’t sell them and walked out. A really nice guy with glasses walked out to my car and gave me new pad of post-it notes from their own office supplies, free. I only needed 1 or 2 pads so this saved me a trip to the office supply store for the month. This guy was thoughtful and kind. Good ol’ fashion customer service with a smile.

This is probably one of the best mom and pop shop businesses you could ever shop at a regular basis. They have every imaginable paper product that you would normally pay for much more at the post office at UPS or even federal express any one of those retail stores cannot come close on any level to the products that are sold at Pickwick paper products. Everything from Bubble Wrap to every box imaginable anything that you would need for shipping for for mailing they have they have bags for your store paper bags instead of buying them three for a buck at the dollar store they charge I think like $0.30 a bag or something like that theyre ridiculously affordable. And as a small business owner I have been shopping here for over 20 years. Especially for those people who do eBay or Etsy who are constantly selling and shipping why would you go to Staples or Office Depot for a few cents off of this or a few cents off of that when you can buy wholesale the real deal product and you dont have to buy in bulk you can buy one or you can buy in bulk. Buddy there is as friendly as if you were in Mayberry RFD. The only thing you dont see is Aunt Bee behind the counter! Come here for gift boxes for plastic bags whether thats for jewelry or its for things that you collect this is the place to go its conveniently located on the corner of Placentia and 18th Street. You can use your resale number to forgo the taxes I just highly recommend shopping small businesses because these are the people that will support you during tough times and theyre good people they work hard for a living because they know that theyre competing against big dollar industry people that are constantly trying to shut them down. If you dont believe me go just to see for yourself you wont be disappointed. Where do you need a box for ring or bracelet or you need a box to ship something or to mail anyting heck theyve even helped me package things because I couldnt figure out how to maybe cut the box down to the exact Dimension to save myself money when shipping. And if I go to UPS store or Federal Express they do not do that theyre going to give you a package that theyre going to ship it in and theyre going to charge you for every single thing. This is a great place to save money no matter if youre buying because you use for your own business or youre buying just so you can mail something to your daughter without having to cost an arm and a leg at the post office shop small businesses!
