Sincerely the BEST customer service.Ive been a sales rep for over 20 years utilizing storage for my product and marketing materials in 4 states.West Coast Storage is not like the giant companies.Personalized service beyond compare!I worked with Jackie to initially set up my unit. And every month for the last couple years. Shes very helpful and knowledgeable.The walk through process was simple.When I needed to upgrade to a larger unit, she made it hassle free.The bills come regularly, on time and in a one page detailed manner which makes it super convenient for my expense reports.When I moved, she had every supply I needed. From tape, to wrap, to boxes.I absolutely will miss this level of service. I do not have it in my new unit in another state.TOP recommendation
My things have been safely and secured with West Coast for the last 4 years. The units are air controlled and my paintings are so safe and no dust on anything! I’ve never felt safer using West Coast than others in the past. The manager, Jackie is amazing. She’s so helpful and I look forward to paying my monthly bill so we can chat. Customer service is everything and it backs the quality of this business.
Great service, great location, great prices! Couldn’t vouch this company any more. Jackie is the absolute best, her and the other staff here will make sure you are taken care of. She has been an angel the last few years for me and helped me with a cross state move, and urgent need for a unit, and even a unit size switch. Great customer service. Prices can’t be beat for the value. Security and cameras are great, always felt safe and taken care of. Also great location - right off the end of the freeway on Harbor. 10/10!

BEST EXPERIENCE HERE!Access to units until 10pm, most places only allow access until 6pm.Doubles as a U-Haul rental, so I was able to rent a storage unit and truck all in one place! I recommend calling ahead of time to reserve your truck, no deposit needed at time of reservation.Jackie, the office manager, was incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. Completely professional compared to other places I called. Instead of making me search the web for available discounts, I simply asked her if there were any special deals and she found them for me.As for the storage facility, super clean, looks brand new condition. Interior storage spaces are less expensive than the drive up units. That may sound like a hassle, but they have 3 heavy duty carts by the elevator available for use, much easier to use than an upright dolly.You are required to buy a special lock for your unit, but it was only $20, and it is recessed into the lock unit, unlike a padlock that could be cut off easily.If you rent a U-Haul from here, make sure to thoroughly discuss drop off policy. I didnt ask enough questions, and I was under the impression I could return the truck after hours, and simply drop the keys in the drop box, but you need to follow directions on the key drop off box.If you are dropping the truck after hours, you need to go to the U-Haul website and complete a checkout process. Make sure you do this AT THE STORAGE FACILITY, because one of the steps is allowing access to your cell phone for your location, so they know you are at the correct place. You also need to take pictures of the vehicle. So make sure you bring your paperwork etc, to complete these steps. There is an additional $20 fee for after hours truck return, but for me it was totally worth it, because it fit into my schedule.Definitely would recommend this place to anyone I know!
I am a Retired Costa Mesa resident and travel frequently,for work and business and mental maintenance recharging adventures, this storage facility is clean,secure and the Management Staff Mrs. J.and her staff are approachable, professional and ethical when a customer needs extra storage, may it be short or long term moving.By the way quality pays for quality+ clean, secured and air conditioned units, also they have U-haul moving vans and pick up trucks for renting.Did i mention moving supplies too ?so that you wont use the S in stress (smiles), anyways the service i have received and price are really exceptional, since being a tenet for couple years and considering you live in the Orange County Bubble, hey give them a call or send an e-mail and then you decide ?By the way all of there staff are Happy Workers and you can see Mrs. J. genuine smiles,as well as the other West Coast Storage Staff.
UPDATE: Jackie, the manager, acknowledged my unsatisfied review and was very kind and responsive. I sincerely appreciate her patience, which made doing business with the company automatically better, even with the prior miscommunications.Customer service is good, but their policy is terrible. I reserved a unit starting a specific date in June, but I did it back in May to get ahead of it. When I got there in June, they wanted to charge me for May just because that’s when I called to make a reservation. I never even got keys to the unit until the day I started the reservation (in June), let alone had anything in storage. Their website doesn’t even state this policy, nor did the manager Jackie say anything to me about this in our phone call in May. She also made it seem like I could only move in my stuff on a specific day... yet she was still willing to charge me before that time. Doesn’t make sense.ALSO, you have to end your reservation 10 days before the start of the month (because that’s when you pay) - not the date you anticipate to take your stuff out. Simply because they don’t issue partial refunds. What is so hard with doing that? I didn’t know basic math coupled with electronic payments was that difficult.And one more thing, you have to CALL or EMAIL in order to pay for the next month. And they won’t slip you any reminders. They’ll be happy to keep piling up the late fees and keep your credit card info in the system (but not do auto-pay). Didn’t know we lived in the stone ages.
Charge to much for what they offer hardly any parking spots and air conditioning is not cold enough and humidity level is not set property clothes turning yellow I do not recommend this storage location
Awesome facility, very well managed. Jackie provided fantastic customer service and exceeded all expectations. I stumbled onto West Coast Storage on my way to a competitors facility and am very happy I made a u turn that day. Keep up the good work!
Good size units, indoor & outdoor, gated with lots of cameras, & the office staff are very nice to work with
This is an excellent storage unit facility! The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to accomate your needs. Each month I have a few boxes delivered to my unit and the staff is kind enough to put them in my unit for me so I dont have to haul them to my unit myself. They really go above and beyond with the service they provide.

I really miss Jackie. I was there around 3 pm or so today 3/7/2017. The person there working in the office Today was so rude. I walked in the office. She was on the phone. She asked, are you here to make payment?Me: oh no. Im sorry. My cell phone died and I forgot my good car charger and I need to make an important phone call. Can I charge my cell for a few minutes?(She looked disgusted and said)Lady: ok, just this ones. You cant next time ok.For a paying customer, I was shocked)Me: thats ok I Wil just go home. As I walked away, not even close to the exit,(I heard her say to the person she was talking to on the phone; she wants to plug her phoneWhich I assumed that wasnt a Customer.Ive been renting from this West Coast Storage and I have never been treated so unprofessionaly and with disrespect.
Rented a truck here and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Low price to bring you in then they increase the price 3 months in.. started $80 per month and after three months raised to $110
