We decided to go with California Window & Solar again but this time for our 2 door entry & our side garage door. We had such great experience with our windows in our home that we felt comfortable and satisfied with the quality of products, service and the installation crew. We had doors ordered and couldnt wait for our new doors to be installed. Our old doors was 1 door for our entry way into hour home & was very old and needed a new look. Fortunately, we were able to find a design that was suitable for our home & to our satisfaction. We are pleased with the outcome.We are pleased with the doors & have already had many compliments.The service was excellent as was the installation crew. Even after the installation, we still had great service and our needs were met.

This company is the best!! Great communication in the beginning and a beautiful and professional job at the end. Even at the showroom, they were very helpful when trying to decide what window would be best for our sons room, and was very informative and open to answer any little question we had. We only had a few windows installed, and I plan on having them do the rest of our house soon!

Amazing work. They replaced all of our windows and slider, as well as did our casing and returns. Truly white glove service. I think my house was cleaner after they left than before they started. We have recommended them to countless friends and neighbors, and no one has ever been disappointed.

I absolutely recommend using California Window & Solar!! We met with 5 representatives to price out replacing our original windows and sliders from 1976 in our new home. Jeff was far superior to any of the other representatives. His professionalism, care for our home, communication, and timeliness was on point. While he was not the least expensive of our Milgard quotes (only a few hundred dollars higher) I am absolutely convinced CA Window & Solar are the FAR SUPERIOR company. Their team kept us posted on the window production, scheduling an installation date, and helping us submit the warranty for our rebate (yay!). The four men who came to do the installation were on time, wore masks, efficient, respectful, and super clean! Two were being trained and I was particularly impressed with the way they handled the training. I would give them more than 5 stars if that were a possibility.

This was a pretty good experience for us and trust me we were dreading it. The workers were professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. I still can’t believe how these guys got three huge picture windows up the ladders to the second floor and did not destroy the garden below. We wanted to replace our back double french doors with a sliding glass door and screen, and feel we got a great value for the quality of Milgard Trinsic series door, plus the installers did a great job. Best price around on Milguard windows. The quote I got from Dallas was $1000 cheaper then Home Depot. Installers were quick, efficient and on time. The end result is functional and looks great. Installers worked clean and took my concerns seriously regarding my white carpet - covering all floors with drop cloths. We will be using this company to replace another set of windows in the coming months. Highly recommend

One of the best decisions my family has made in years. We needed a whole house window and door replacement and we were terrified of the cost. Out of the 5 estimates that we received, Jeff gave us the most reasonable while getting quality product. The install was seamless and quick. Two crews worked on removing all windows the first day (this was insane to me since it was 19 windows total). The second and third day they spent finalizing the install and replacing our 2 French style doors. They were friendly and most important respectful of my home. Would recommend to any one looking for a small or large project.

Had a few hiccups trying to get the order in (missed appointment, delayed response), but overall they redeemed themselves and we are very satisfied with out new windows! If I could give California Window & Solar 6 out of 5 stars, I would. We had 23 windows and 3 sliders replaced in our home, and the entire process with California Window & Solar, from start to finish, was an absolute pleasure (who knew that was even possible!). We have two toddlers who were sick during the week of installation (of course), so we were stuck at home for the entire week. Not only did Josh and his crew show up every morning with smiles on their faces, but they were also extremely considerate of the fact that we were at home, and they made time to talk to the kids and answer all of their silly questions. They were even nice enough to be as quiet as possible during nap time! The icing on the cake, as a mom, was the fact that they did such an amazing job cleaning up the site each day that I didn’t have to pick up my vacuum or mop even once. As for the quality of the work, Josh and the crew did an impeccable job. They even went out of their way to accommodate our molding requests so that all the moldings around the new windows would look consistent. Completely satisfied with my Milgard windows and the service provided. Dallas came to measure and answered many questions before giving me a quote that was competitive with another quote I got from a less solid company. This is a family owned and operated business for multiple generations, with employees who know what they are doing. Professional the whole way. Replaced several windows in our 80s condo, which of course had settlement during 30+ years. Especially the sliding doors to the balcony, which had settled and was off level by a good bit. But Justin and his team of installers took care of it. You could tell he had seen about every situation that could happen and he was not fazed by the challenge. That kind of ability only comes from experience and thats what you are getting here. Highly recommend!

Clear sailing from start to finish!In finally redoing the bulk of our windows and major door leading outside in our two story home in Mission Viejo, several of our neighbors up and down the street had used California Window and Solar and were very happy with them. I checked out online reviews and found almost all to be extremely positive so I gave them a call. Dallas, one of the family of owners (great guy) came out promptly and gave us a no pressure presentation along with suggestions we hadnt thought of which we worked into the final proposal.We cant comment on how competitive they were (price wise) because the final out the door bottom line price he gave us was very fair to our way of thinking, verifying what others have said in terms of them being reasonable and especially compared to what I was expecting. In other words, our search stopped then and there and we signed the contract. Again, no pressure whatsoever.Now, as to installation. Keep in mind, your windows and doors are custom made and arent necessarily going to be ready in a week, however, as with all good things, theyre worth waiting for. Once the installation started, in two days everything was done perfectly, including cleanup by a most pleasant crew. Our home was then transformed into this century.

This is the second time I have used California Window & Solar to purchase and install items at my home. They did an excellent job on my windows last year, so I purchased a new front door through this company that they installed that last week. The door is beautiful and was installed perfectly. We had a great experience with California Window. They replaced a large window in our dining room to enhance our view. The window was too large to bring in the front door. Josh and his team said no problem, how else can we get it back there. Unfortunately for them it meant carrying it 12 condos down to enter the golf course and walk it up a hill on the golf course to get it to our backyard. There was no complaining and the job was finished perfectly. We love the new window.

They are a team of very knowledgeable staff from sales person to installers. I had my patio doors replaced with Milgard Tuscany series sliders. They don’t just install the slider inside the old aluminum jamb, which makes the opening a lot smaller, they actually remove it and install it to the wood frame. Only thing I had to do was paint the primed molding that they installed around the doors. They are a little more expensive than the other quotes I received but it was worth it.

Wow!! What a class group of people!! We interviewed and visited the showrooms of several contractors to replace all the exterior doors and windows of our home. Calif Glass & Window stood out head and shoulders above the rest!! And once we started working with them, we knew why!Dallas visited our home and gave us a thorough estimate and overview of the process, and personally responded to every one of our questions or concerns along the way. With other companies we interviewed, we rarely talked to the same person twice!We had a snafu on our kitchen bay window and within minutes it was resolved by the installation crew leader. None of the typical You gotta call somebody and theyll get back to you in a few days. Bam!! Done! Right there on the spot! And it was not an easy task in resolving it!We had some build ups done on a couple of windows. Thats where youre sticking with the retro-fit style window, but reducing the size of the opening. The work was primo-quality. And Phil, the drywall & stucco guy they use, is the bomb!! That man is an artist folks!! It looks like the house was built that way!We love our new Milgard windows and doors and cant more highly recommend the good folks at Calif Glass & Window! Theyre a class act, start to finish.

A friend recommended CG&W to me. I needed to replace my patio door and at least 3 windows. Jeff contacted me right away and went over my options. I had a doggie door on my existing pation door, and he went through the options with me and gave me a great cost-savings recommendation. When the windows/door were installed, I was very impressed with their operation... they know what they are doing. They laid out sheets to protect my carpet, and were extremely clean. Everything was installed within 3 hours, and I absolutely love the Milgard windows/door, and am very impressed with the work they did. The price was also very competitive. Im now wishing I did all my windows. Im now saving hard to get the remainder of windows replaced in my home with CG&W.
