I am by no means into clothing and am usually in a time crunch and I was pleasantly surprised by the salesmen’s ability to help me out. Great products. Great workers. Good selection, great location, nice staff. Got what I needed for gifts. Surf clothing and merchandise always a little more costly but the brands are worth it. Excellent store and staff. Carries what other stores fail to carry. Walked in not expecting to find parts to repair my binding because no other store carried them and I went to 4 diff stores in OC. Staff handed it to me like as if it was nothing new. Recommend if you need to find hard to find parts for your snowboard binding

I love this place! Every time my mom and I went they gave us a local discount and the service was the absolute best. If there was ever anything u needed for a board sport, this place had it for u. They helped us out when my sis made an electric skateboard and gave us advice on what board to get. I wish I was still lived in OC so I could still go here, miss this place 👍

This is the place to buy snowboard equipment. I have been getting my stuff there since 1994. Duke, his son Joe, and the wonderful staff know their skate, snow, and surf stuff. And the selection of Burton snowboard gear is just awesome. I was there yesterday and got my kid hooked up for the upcoming snow season and I still had money left when I walked out.I have been to other shops but I buy here.And ladies, they have half the store filled up with all that fashion stuff so you can have fun even if you dont ride.

Been shopping here my whole life even back to when it was down on the peninsula. This place has always been the best!!! They have whatever you need and everyone is so friendly.

Every time Ive went the customer service was spectacular. They greet you at the door and are always willing to help. Especially with Surf/Skate/Snow equipment - they really know their stuff (though if you were looking for surf equipment I would recommend another smaller shop like The Froghouse, but this place is good, too). The only downside are the prices! Most of the year they are outrageous, which is why I only recommend you go when there is a sale to save yourself from paying too much.

I love Surfside- they are a great community store! I love that they support the local schools, students and athletes. I love that the kids who work there are knowledgeable and offer up good advice. I love that they carry all the best brands for all the best sports.

Large, clean boardriding shop. One of the last of its kind. Most prices are retail but they do have some deals here and there. Ive gotten a couple wetsuits here at 30% to 40% off. Store staff are really cool and helpful.

Please disregard the 5 star rating, because, my name is Duke, the owner of Surfside, and the only reason Im righting this is in response to Kiannas, and Ariannas one star rating that they gave our store, and the terrible experience they had while here.No excuses, I sincerely apologize for your negative experience. We have, at any time, between 7-20 people working the floor at our store. The people who are qualified to work in the Snow Dept.,(And there are about 10 of us who are,) go through weeks of training. At the end of 7 weeks, and hours of instruction, they are given a test. The test isnt easy, we want to make sure they are knowledgeable.Many people dont pass it. The people who dont pass the test, arent allowed to work in the Snow Zone. Who ever told you, I dont work in the Snow area, should have said, I am not knowledgeable in the snow dept., but, let me get you someone who is. We have been in the snow biz for about 30 years. Our whole family works here. We are extremely passionate about it. Next time you are here, ask for Me, Joe, Robert, Julie, Brett, Jeff, either of our two Reillys, Shay, or Tyrone. The most important thing to me is, not just making a sale, but, making sure you buy the right thing, with the right guidance and expertise. Been shopping here for 23 years. Super knowledgeable staff so whether Im shopping for myself, my nieces, or even custom ordering a snowboard, these guys and gals have you covered. They also have prices under MSRP so you dont have to worry about overpaying when you shop local.

I went in today to buy a couple of gifts for family. It was the third time I have been there this week. I went to buy bracelets for my nieces before a trip to see them and asked if they had a box to put them in. He said they didnt have any. The case had a bunch of boxes in them. I called in and asked for the manager and it was the same person that was at the register. I have bought a lot of things from the store and given the people gifts from the company I work for on a couple of occasions and got a sorry and then silence. I am sorry that I have ever done business there. And I imagine that I will never get a response from this post. The problem with doing business this way is you lost a year round customer not a tourist during the summer.

The worst customer service imaginable. Thats 58 dollars no please. wanna bag - like its a huge deal! No thank you as the change is slammed down on the counter. I have a beard and long hair. I also have 50 employees ! Treated like dirt by a bunch of wannabe surfers getting paid $8.00 an hour. I would have easily spent $ 1000.00 if I was treated right! Avoid this plague like he plague - also rip-off prices!

I live about a mile away from a Jacks Surf Shop and I drive 15 miles to go to Surfside instead. They are incredible there.

Best shop ever Im never going to jacks ever again SURFSIDE is the place to shop .the skate shop is on point with the selection of boards trucks and wheels. The wetsuits are always up to date and the workers are so knowledgeBle they must pay them great because there always so stoked to help get ur swagger on point!
