Ive never had any issues with this location. Been bringing my cars here for many years. Jeff has always been straight about whats needs to be done, but also about items I should be on the look out for in the future. I would highly recommend them for your car needs, especially with a Japanese made car.

H&A Auto is the repair shop Ive put my trust in for over 15 years for many reasons. Theyve been written up in the local newspapers, and thats because their service is a throwback to the good old days. H&A is dependable, and when I take my cars there, I know Ill be taken care of, not charged for anything that isnt absolutely necessary, and educated as to what may require maintenance in the future. Ive referred numerous family members and friends to H&A for their excellent service, which is what they deliver...each and every time.

I was very satisfied with the service I received. I was in a pinch, and they were able to work on my Honda on a late Saturday night. Highly recommend.

I have had my cars serviced here for several years. I am happy with Garys high quality and honest work. The price is reasonable. He charged me $15 to change a head lamp, free for a quick diagnosis of engine light on, cheap regular maintenance. Being here many times, I met many happy customers. My next car will be a Honda or Acura because I know that it can be taken care of here.

Even though H & A specializes in servicing Hondas and Acuras, they took in my Toyota Corolla and handled the installation of my struts, replacement of my brake and power steering fluids, and many of my oil changes.Their were instances where Gary gave me a discount after quoting me - Im guessing because he didnt spend as much time as he originally thought. The thing is, I was already content with the quote and then instantly happy when I saw a discount!

Gary and his garage is the best I have encountered in nearly 40 years of owning and servicing cars. His work is always done right and on time. He charges a reasonable price. And he tracks the health of your cars over time the way a good physician monitors your body. He NEVER does unnecessary work.We have developed such a high level of trust in Gary that we actually now purchase used cars rather than new ones that he will service. We know that with his skill and honesty (and the mild OC climate), that cars under his care can last many years beyond their typical life.Kathy, who handles the front desk, is also a marvel. Appointments are always on time--no wasted minutes at the garage.H&A is one of the best things about living in the OC. I recommend them without qualification!

Such a sad excuse for a legitimate operation. Was told to bring in my car that wont go into reverse. This isnt an automatic transmission overhaul job and knowing this I wanted to get an opinion from someone who was highly rated. I Call in the morning and they tell me to bring my car in. I ready the car have to find a jump start for it get it warmed up and going. Keep in mind this isnt the safest car to take on the streets because of the reverse problem. I take it in and the front desk guy asks his boss if we can take a look at it. The shameless boss without even turning around says no. Why would you guys make me go through all this work, tell me you guys can take a look at it and then when it comes time to follow through say no. Take your money elsewhere.

This is the only place to have your Honda or Accura serviced in the Costa Mesa area. Its the only place I go. Ive been coming here for over 10 years. Ive had three Hondas serviced here. Its still the place after two different ownerships.

These guys are life savers, honest, and they do good work as well. With 45 minutes before every auto shop within a 5 mile radius closed for the next two days my serpentine belt abandoned me in an unfamiliar neighborhood with no power steering and two hungry dogs at home chewing apart my living room. I pulled my car into H&A Auto and they had me back on the road heading home to San Diego in less than an hour! Aaand they had to run and get the part! Most Cheescake Factories would tell me to hit the road if I showed up 30 minutes before closing... not H&A. They rock! and Im pretty sure they should have charged me more!

I called this company to price out a fuel pump and who ever the Ricky Bobby was that took my call must of been on life support or still is? I asked do you sell parts his answer was depends what? I said. Again he says depends. Is this a auto parts store I asked? He says Ya we work on cars. So realizing Im dealing with there no.1 sales rep. I gave him the description of my part. Fuel pump for a chevy Tahoe 2004 4.8. He replays we dont work on no Chevys! Sorry. But these guys are completely lame!

I have a 1989 Honda Prelude, which runs great thanks to H & A Auto. The service has always been exceptional and reasonable.

There is nothing more assuring than knowing you have a competent, reliable and affordable auto mechanic that knows you and your vehicles. I recommend anyone with a Honda, Acura, Toyota or Lexus to rely on H and A for tour auto maintenance and repair needs. You will not be disappointed. We own 2013 Honda CRV, 2004 Honda Civic, 2005 Toyota 4Runner, 1995 Honda Civic Hatchback, 2005 Toyota Avalon and a 2015 Toyota Corolla. H and A has helped us maintain all of these cars except the Corolla. It is still under the dealers care plan. He has worked on other Hondas owned in the paat. He can be trusted.

Ive been to h&a auto for intermittent tune-ups, but havent been the most faithful customer - for my own convenience, ill sometimes run over to oilstop/jiffy lube/whatever else i pass by, but no more - gary has my business now for good!i got into a fender bender a few months ago, and like an idiot, i was more concerned about what the car looked like. it seemed to be running fine, and no lights were going off, so i decided to get body work done, and then take it into the shop for a tune-up eventually. got the body work done, and then afterwards, had lights going off on my dash. went to oilstop, where they told me to change x and y fluids - which i did thinking that would get rid of the lights on the dash....and then the lights went away, so i thought i was golden.later that week, driving to work, my car is starting to puff out white smoke from the exhaust that i can see from the side view mirrors. the night before i take it in, i have white smoke coming from the exhaust AND the hood. i take it in the next morning, and gary confirms what my co-workers suspected, that it is a blown head gasket, and may cost up to $2k if i have to replace that, and what looks like a banged up radiator. totally dejected, i leave my car with him, and go off to fetch a rental, since he said hed likely need my car for at least four days. when i get home, i have a missed call from the shop - i call them back, and gary tells me that it ISNT a blown head gasket, just the radiator, that itd be ~$400, and theyd be done by the end of the day. SO THANKFUL, i was nearly crying. thank you, gary, for your honest work!!!**since this happened a few months ago**i had lights going off on my dash intermittently for the last few days, and today, the car would occasionally stutter as i was accelerating - i call to make an appointment to get it checked out. i bring my car in - jeff checks everything out, runs the codes, clears the codes, and tries to get the car to replicate what i was experiencing - but couldnt. even though he did all that work, because he couldnt replicate the issue, there was no charge.LOVE that this shop doesnt make things up or try to up-sell me just because im a girl who knows absolutely nothing about cars.i initially found this shop on yelp just looking for something with great reviews close to where i used to live. now, ive moved ~15 miles away - but no doubt, ill return to h&a auto!!
