Stopped in to get my tires checked to see if I needed 4 or 2 new ones. They promptly checked them out and said I only need 2. They gave me a very competitive price, ordered them and I got them installed the same day a few hours later. This is my second visit and I’ve found them to be very honest, competitive and reliable. Not sure anything else is important when it comes to new tires.

The good folks at American Tire Depot in Costa Mesa were courteous, helpful, and professional in their assistance helping me choose the proper tires for my vehicle. The service crew was efficient in the mounting and installation. Closing the deal with the final payment also included time spent advising me a about future alignment and rotation schedules. I got a few quotes for my tire change and American Tire Depot was not only price competitive, they picked up my tires at a local warehouse the same day I called. It was super fast and such an easy experience. It’s a semi small shop and kind of hidden behind Shell so don’t miss it! Definitely recommend!

I have taken my cars to American Tire Discount for several years. The service is always excellent. They go above and beyond and it is so appreciated, especially being a female and in an industry that is difficult to find. All of the staff are helpful and care about their customers! Example: I took my car in a few days ago to have all of my tires checked for wear. I was advised to replace them all because it was overdue and dangerous. I called them yesterday, they had the tires delivered to the store and the Service staff said to come in when I could get there and they would stay late to complete the job If needed. I got there at 3:00 and had all 4 tires replaced, a front end alignment and replaced filter and brake fluid with discounts and in less than 90 minutes. Great place!!

Beware - read first. First, they did not do a good job explaining what they thought I needed. I came in for brake pads and their quote was for 2400 dollars. I declined for getting a second quote somewhere else. As I was leaving, the man who did my quote got in front of my car door, demanded the quote back, got in my face and forcefully grabbed the paper out of my hand while the rest of the crew started circling me. Super scary, super unprofessional. They knew they were ripping me off and resorted to intimidation. Really sad. Kind of nervous to even leave this review. I will be calling their corporate office. They also did not wear face masks.

Absolutely the best tire shop I’ve been to. Took me on literally last second notice. I went to work and realized my tire was completely flat as i got off work. It was a holiday weekend and they said if I got there within an hour they’d help (even though it would be after they closed) they were done a whole 30 mins sooner than I was expecting. Excellent service and will use them again for sure.

When I thought it was a flat tire turn out to be a crack On my Hellcat rim. After speaking to Maroni (manager) I decided to go with a brand new set of Foose rims. He gave me an outstanding deal and order them right away. He was very knowledgeable and very kind he understood everything I needed and came through. This is the go to tire center in Costa Mesa. All of the service technicians were very friendly and knowledgeable. I will absolutely return for outstanding service and professionalism

American Tire Depot is the best! They are so kind there. As a women when going to car places you feel like they are ripping you off but not here. They are straightforward and run a great business. The guys who help you in the front are so helpful especially the one with the glasses. You can tell he loves his job and does everything he can for the customer. I bought my tires from here some time ago and came in for a tire rotation but will definitely be in for all my future needs.

Great experience! I called John looking for a quote for 4 new tires. I let him know exactly what I wanted and that I had a few quotes on very specific tires already. His pricing was about $10 higher than my best price, but American Tire Depot includes life of tire free rotations and air pressure top offs. John then had me in and out in about a half hour, mid day, with plenty of other cars in their bays!If youve ever gone to Pep Boys, youd appreciate how refreshing that is!Great prices and customer service make for killer reviews and happy customers!Well done!😊

I searched far and wide for the best deals. Call me cheap but I like to save every dollar I can! After making 11 calls down the Yelp list for the cheapest tires, I came across this place. Francisco said hed do his best to give me the best deal. Cheapest offer I had so far was $110, his offer was $130. Before I could hang up he said, Ill do it for you for $100! I was like seriously? He could have easily matched the offer, instead he hooked me with an even better offer!!!THIS ladies and gentleman is how you make a customer. Francisco was an absolute gentleman during the entire experience and made the 25min drive worth it to change my tires!Needless to say, I found my favorite tire shop :)

Pulling out of the gym parking lot hit something that sounded like it couldve caused some damage (sound a breaking metal) Got home without a problem so didnt think anything of it until later when a tire went flat. Next morning pulled a screwdriver (remains of a screwdriver) out of the tire and tried repairing the hole, but it still leaked air.Threw the tire in the back of another car and drove it to a tire shop hoping they could patch it from the inside, but they said they only used plugs and the hole was too large to repair. Gave me a quote for a non-warrantied tire at $55, stressing how good a price that was. I almost went for it, but with a new tire, and 3 older tires, I was worried about handling. Said Id do some research first.Checked American Tire Depots website and found a 40k warrantied tire for $15 less, called to see if they had it in stock and if I could get the car in that day. Talked with Joe who said they didnt have it in stock, but he found one with 45k warranty and for less per tire than Id found online.The work took a couple of hours, with an alignment I knew it needed (still they checked before doing the work, which impressed). Joe mentioned an extended warranty that would cover the types of damage Id just experienced. It brought the cost to what I found on their site earlier, but thanks to Joes help, I have a 45k warranty plus coverage.Honest, helpful, professional... great sense of humor as well

I spend almost $2000 for 4 new tires and they did not perform the alignment. I took my car to the dealership today and they told me that I have been burning my tires away. We also never got the rebate we were promised.

Joe listened to my needs and made professional recommendations. No high pressure sales. He called me to report some findings during their regular inspection and I feel he offered a great deal for the extra service suggestions. Extremely pleased with my experience. Got a flat tire, went to american tire depot the next day and they were able to fix it within 15 minutes and didn’t charge me a single thing. not to mention there customer service was very hospitable and helpful. wouldn’t go anywhere else for tire/wheel related problems

I was pleasantly and honestly assisted by Joe. I came in mid-afternoon. I needed 4 new tires and didn’t feel like waiting for my tires to come in at Costco because I needed them now. (between ordering, shipping and placing them on, I was looking at waiting over 10 days at Costco)Although I don’t Expect a place to match exact warehouse prices, Joe gave me an excellent and honest deal. Then, since it was later in the afternoon, I told him I could come back the next day if they were busy. Instead, they had my tires done within the next 1-1/2 hours.I also needed an alignment and he showed me the computer printout of where my alignment was off and by how much.I appreciated the honesty, the explanations, the pricing and how friendly the all were. American Tire Depot is the only place I go for tire repairs and replacement (and really everything else car-related)! They are so nice and are truly willing to help you out.Ive gotten my tires patched for free multiple times, and most recently had to purchase a full new set of tires and they worked on the pricing to really help me out.

Brought my car here for a standard oil change yesterday. I’ve been getting oil changes at ATD (different locations) since I got my Kia Forte because they’re reasonably priced. But soon as I walked in yesterday, the guy (M Ortega, I believe) I was dealing with was not friendly at all! I told him I’m not sure what kind of oil change I get but it’s usually around $25, I could give him my phone number to look up records. He types my number in and says there’s no records on file for you. I told him well let me bring my past recents in (I keep ALL service records for my car). When I bring my last receipt in, he then magically finds my service records. At the end of the oil change, the guy tells me my car is going to stop working because my gasket cover is leaking, I need new axels, new shocks, and an alignment. I was very skeptical because i get my car maintenance often as I use my car in my regular line of work. I asked him how much all this was going to cost, he said he doesn’t know because there’s no set prices for services (although he should have an estimate if you provide these services on a regular basis. Legally, he should know how long each job is going to take and how much they charge for labor). Well I took my car to my regular certified mechanic this morning, and all I needed from the list was rear breaks. Stay away from this company (no matter the location) they always try to tack on services you don’t even need!!!

Used to be great. This year not so much. Still waiting to hear from the District Manager about the Yokohamas they sold me. The invoice showed all 4 same DOT of 0122 which matched the rear, but the front tires were dated 2919 and made in Thailand, not USA like the rear. Next day I went in and asked if different tires was satisfactory and was told Its not our warehouse. You can call the corporate. You bet I contacted corporate. He could have called the corporate office for me but didnt even try. Customer service FAIL. This was the third set of tires purchased from them this year and not the first that went wrong. Taking my business elsewhere. Complaint lodged with the BBB.

I had a great experience at this location. I got flat tire on Saturday. AAA put temporary tire in the car; but I need to replace it ASAP. I contacted one store which will be closed in 1.5 hours (4pm). They recommended me to come in on next Monday instead because They won’t open on Sunday. I went to American Tire Depo and the manager David quickly found a new tire for me that’s half price Of the estimated one from the first store I called earlier ($230) More impressively, although the store was very busy, it took David only about 30 minutes to get it done with his team. I was way grateful for the quick, efficient and low price of their service. They charged me only about 16 dollars for the labor; a new tire is about $85. So my total cost is only $125.l including tax. I am glad I found this store. They are awesome! Thanks you Dave!
