Purchased countertops from this company and not only the process of just trying to get them to commit to a date a complete debacle but they took our money for a back splash that wasn’t even in stock then told us it was stuck at the dock then it turned out it was never ordered. Finally when our granite was installed they left one of their workers at our house with no phone and no time table for pickup. A few days later the breakfast bar almost fell off and the owner told us to go buy some supports and sometimes it happens. Finally after a year the counter started chipping everywhere and the owner asked us what he was supposed to do about it. If any of these things sounds like a good experience then go ahead and use this company.
Andrew the owner with Granite Unlimited is a true craftsman. He always takes the time and attention necessary to select, fabricate & install all the homes I build. Absolutely the best place to select your granite. I went in and selected mine on a Friday and it was installed the following Thursday. You must talk to Angela when you go in. Very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are very reasonable... You won’t be disappointed!
Best price I received after calling around. I needed the job done in two and a half weeks. The owner was there when I stopped in to choose my granite. He said they could do it in time. I wanted the chilled rough edge which I know most granite companies shy away from due to possible problems from the granite chipping. They agreed to all my requests. I received a signed contract with everything specified. The granite was put in with two days to spare. It looks gorgeous and we are extremely pleased. We highly recommend Granite Unlimited!
I walked into their store and picked out the granite I wanted, they told me someone would be out to measure that Saturday since I am not available during the week. Saturday came and went with no phone call and no show. I went back into the store Monday to ask what happend...they never had me diwn for Saturday. I asked when they would be able to come out and they said sometime tomorrow..no exact time just tomorrow. Tomorrow came and no call.. I had to go back into the store to ask if someone was coming, and they told me he would be out at some point that day, no exact time. They had to call the guy to make sure he was going to go! They finally measured, and constantly called me about 3 times the next day about putting down the deposit to get the job started. They had never once called me the entire time until it came down to them wanting payment. I brought in the down payment and asked when he would be out to make a template. I asked if he could be there Saturday since it was my only day off. They said yes he will have him go out there Saturday. Saturday came, no call...I had to call then yet again to see if they were coming out. The girl at the desk said he was going to come out, but just got pulled away by another buyer to another unexpected job, but she would call him and tell him to go out to mine when he was finished. Of course, no call, no show. I called my bank and calcelled the check. Communication is horrible with them until they want payment. They will call you 4-5 times a day to collect, but cant call to schedule you to get your job complete. It has been over 3 weeks since I initially went in and all they got done was the measuring...and that only got done because I stayed on them. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. They have great pricing, but you will never get your job done. I could have paid a little more and had the job completed in this amount of time. Very unprofessional business.
Horrible work. Scheduled my install with the owner to only receive a call from receptionist the night before telling me she took me off the schedule because I didn’t answer my phone. Spoke with the owner and was assured they would arrive by 10am for install. Install time comes and no show. I call and they said they broke my countertop and would be there in a few hours for install. The receptionist confirmed this was a lie they were on the job she scheduled them for. After having 10+ guys in and out of my house for hours they were still unable to complete job. Horrible quality work. Very unprofessional and the seal is so clear uneven and terrible. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone!
Rude, rude, rude!! Take your business else where. Called for pricing and info and was just talked to like trash. No customer service skills at all. There’s plenty other places in corpus to look for granite. The woman there is lousy
Im still waiting for an order that was placed 4 weeks ago and that was supposed to be done in 6-7 days Every time I have called I have been told they would call me when they started the work. That doesnt help me at all. I need them to do the job or refund my money. .
I went in to get estimate due to my home being damaged in Rockport. Very shady sales. Pressure to leave deposit did not seem normal. Buyer beware!!!*The response is not true. I guess the owner also calls potential clients liars. Also, do not believe they try and deceive on prices.
This place was a absolute train wreck. There product was terrible, after installation they had to come back out and seal the granite 3 times. Even then they did not get it right after the third time. We called the owner, Andrew Soloman and he said he was tired of dealing with us and said we should hire a lawyer. I ended up sealing myself correctly and I had never done it before. The kitchen sink was also installed incorrectly, it was sagging down in the middle when just a little water was in the sink. The installer suggested we stick a 2 x 4 under the sink to hold it up. It is rare that I have nothing good to say about a business, but unfortunately this is the case. Granite Unlimited might give you the cheapest quote, but take my advice spend a little more money somewhere else and save yourself from a huge headache, loss of time and money.
I just want to say that this place was a joke. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy especially if you happen to live outside of the Corpus Christi area. When we went in they made it seem like they were going to be fast and be ready to go when we were. We picked out the granite and put a deposit to hold the granite. They wouldnt cut a piece so that we could match a paint color to it as promised. (that should have been the first sign) we were allowed to take pictures. Then we called to schedule the final measure and we were put off once bc they had an appt complex call and they wanted a quote. The next time we were put off bc they didnt want to come out to Ingleside for only one house they were trying to get more clients out this way before they came. So the day that they came to measure we were told that it would be 2-3 weeks to install. Two weeks came and went and still no granite so i called and she said it would be another 2 weeks so I told them that they promised me 2-3 weeks that I wasnt going to wait longer. She called me back and said that they would move it up. The day of delivery came and they were supposed to be here before noon. No one showed up at noon I gave them til 2 pm and was told that they were loading up and would be on their way. 2 and a half hours later they still are not here to deliver the granite. I called again and was told that it would be delivered today but it was 6pm before anyone came to deliver the granite
(Actual Customer): Wouldnt recommend to anyone, even cheap people. This company really suffers from Cranial-Rectal Inversion. Do not know how they are still in business. If you ever get granite anything, i hope it doesnt break or crack.Initial install: so-so... really messy; did not precut stove and sink holes.Countertop cracked in two places after 18 months; at the 23 month mark, I went to office, talked to receptionist, told her the problem. She was slightly rude. She went in to the back, talked with someone, and came back said owner/manager would get back to me in couple of days to schedule a fix date.One week later: no call; went back, talked to same receptionist (now very snippy), still no manager came out to talk to me. She said They forgot... They lost my work order... its on their list. She also mentioned that this company only has a 1 yr warranty on their products, but my paperwork says 2 years. Well, not my fault.They will give me a call when they can fix it.One week later: (now furious) Went back, same receptionist (still no mgr), setup a date to fix, in 5 days.When will they be there?On Wednesday sometime?Can I get a time or maybe a rough estimate?Nope, sometime WednesdaySo I waited all day Wednesday, fixers came at 5pm. Seriously? They could not fix the cracks without removing the stove, which my wife had just cooked on. Too hot to remove right then.When can you guys come back?FridayWhen?FridayYep, you guessed it... a no show. Have not gotten a call back ever during any part of this ordeal. I have had to track them down to fix their product - multiple times! It has been 5 weeks since my initial meeting to get it fixed. I gave up and am writing this review.Thanks for nothing.
