The worst pharmacy ever. I had surgery and the day before my doctor prescribed me 5 medications and the pharmacy forgot one. I didn’t realize because all the medications were in one bag until I came home. By then it was too late to go back and get it. It was the most important medication. I had my surgery tried calling CVS and they put me on hold for an hour. This is the worst managed pharmacy in America. Also when waiting on the line for meds it takes an hour even if there’s only 3 people waiting. Employees are very inconsiderate and do not take pride in their job. I will be switching pharmacies. Do not go here.
Very nice, well stocked CVS. No one in line to get a walk in vaccination.
By far the worst and slowest pharmacy I have ever been to in my entire life. No exaggeration
This pharmacy you call and leaves you on hold for 15-20 minutes maybe more. I’ve tried multiple days now to call to transfer my prescription to this location and they NEVER pick up the phone. Worst CVS ever.
Another day, another god awful experience at this place. The absolute worst pharmacy in existence.
Wonderful service!!
Staff is great! Store looks empty no UM shirts or merchandise which was sold before. Annoying over weight lady new to store. Witness her touching other employee, women, and putting down other, men. She needs to learn how to speak her employees as a leader not a dictator.
My Dr forgot I said Id be in Florida for vacation, when I called this morning, the pharmacist took my information and got my antibiotic prescription transferred. Unfortunately she was to busy to call, but did text me. I dont have insurance but found great deal on one of the prescription website, took a while to get it processed. I felt so bad as they were extremely busy definitely need more people working to help customer picking up prescription. Otherwise not a bad experience considering Im 1600 miles from home
They wouldnt take the time to check on my diabetes medication. They said they were closing in 15 minutes and to check back in the morning. I guess the fact that I was out of my medication today doesnt matter to the staff. What makes this acceptable to the pharmacist?
The pharmacy always has long lines. The drop off counter is always closed. If you call to check if they have a medication, they tell you they can’t give the information over the phone. Then you come in person and they tell you they don’t have it! The people working the counter are very nice but they are overworked! There should be at least 3 people working the pharmacy. Worst cvs I’ve been to.
The place is desperately understaffed, but the staff undoubtedly does the best they can, and there are plenty of self-checkout locations. What I really don’t like is the tendency for the homeless of Coral Gables to congregate outside the door. In two instances in the past month, I have been seriously hassled by these guys including them chasing me to my car and banging on a metal sign as I walk past. I will NEVER come back here at night if these problems continue.
Worst pharmacy of all time. Actually incredible how bad it is.
I dropped a prescription off that was misplaced by the pharmacy staff and instead of finding solutions like contacting my doctors office and explaining that they lost a patients script they came up with nothing but excuses. This staff is incompetent and very unprofessional. I will follow up with this review and get the name of the pharmacist that created this problem. I will also inform CVS corporate of this lack of organization and professionalism. When I asked to please help find a solution to this problem the lady I was speaking with was rude and careless. I suggest whoever is in charge of staff at this pharmacy puts more effort in finding quality individuals that work with a higher level of care and organization. They don’t deserve one star.
Extremely unreliable and unprofessional. Its a shame. They will leave you on hold for 45 minutes, then be rude to you once they pick up, as if they were waiting for you. No consideration for their customers time. Poorly run place, rude employees, inefficient system.
This is possibly the worst CVS that I have ever been to. The shelves are always half empty, the staff is rude and the pharmacy does not open in the established hours. On top of that, today I went to pick a prescription and there was a huge line, with several employees wasting time behind the counter and not servicing customers. After waiting for a long time, I was told that my prescription was not ready when i was told it would be ready 3 days ago. Totally unacceptable the way they treat customers
If I could give this no stars, I would. This CVS used to be good but then most of the staff got relocated and the new management for the pharmacy has no idea what he/she is doing. I have had several issues to one telling me they dont have my medicine that I gave my doctor the wrong cvs pharmacy location. About 30 minutes later I was found in the system because they took my date of birth wrong. Another time they didnt have my medicine and never ordered it. No call no nothing! THE WORST PHARMACY!!
I should say that the in-store staff is really helpful, and the pharmacy staff is good but wretchedly wretchedly WRETCHEDLY understaffed. The pharmacy is NOT open 24 hours any more, and in fact their hours are lousy. Getting your prescriptions filled here is a nightmare. They lose doctor calls frequently because they are slow to check the phone messages, especially on weekends. Two weeks ago my husband called in refills 5 days before he needed them and they just never checked the phone, and he had to go out of the country without important medication. Unfortunately the area residents are simply captive...this is one corner of the county where there ISNT a drugstore on every corner.
I called ahead and reserved my prescription and then I went to get it two days later and they told me that they did not have any of the medication.
I totally agree with the review written by Jane Wooldridge three weeks ago. Jane, Jane, we feel your pain!!! First, the pharmacy is NOT open 24 hours, and it closes REALLY early (around 5:00 PM) on weekends -- like nobody ever gets sick on Saturday or Sunday night?! There are always long lines to pick up prescriptions, and only one person working the register, and invariably, of the ten people in front of you, eight of them have issues -- such as their insurance not being billed properly, or a partial order with some items missing, or the refill ordered two days ago not being ready, or, worse yet, no record of the prescription ever being dropped off or called in -- all of which take the lone cashier an eternity to resolve. Since this is the only pharmacy in walking distance from the University of Miami, they have a captive audience, and no motivation to improve. We live in the neighborhood, but finally, in desperation, we switched all of our prescriptions to the Walgreens at the corner of Red & Bird Road -- not nearly as convenient geographically -- but guess what -- they always have three or four cashiers working at the pick up window, and there are rarely any problems with the either the insurance coverage or the prescriptions themselves -- which tends to support my theory that most of the issues at CVS are the result of the pharmacy being understaffed, overworked, or just plain inept.
AWFUL store!!! They have a limited selection that is never stocked properly, rude employees in all departments, the most unfriendly service I have ever experienced, even for a cvs, do not go to this store. Also watch out for the old asian man there, you just look at him the wrong way and it sets him off, dont bother talking to a supervisor either, they take turns doing it and could care less.
It used to be nice but its gone downhill. Even after renovations.
They NEVER answer the phone!!! Its either busy and you cant get through or if the machine answers and you press the number to speak to the pharmacy they place you on an inteminable hold!! THE WORST!!
They said 2.5 hours for a creambthey could just pick off the rack! Absurd. Rude terrible service!
Only thing good was the sale...and store smells like piss!
This is the worst CVS ever. They force you to do self checkout while employees stand around and watch you work and the pharmacy is slow and incompetent. I am not a chronic complainer. It is that bad.
One star because this store is awful some of the ladies do not speak English . talk to Customer Service did not get a reply from the store manager who is also Hispanic and taking on their Side I guess as Americans we don’t get respect here anymore do not go there calling all US citizens do not go to this store but to the other employees that are American and very helpful but the rest of the staff awful including the pharmacy I will take my business somewhere else I spent over thousands of dollars a year on medication will not go there again take your business somewhere else .
Slow, terrible service and can never speak to a human!
Stood in line more than 45 minutes to pick up medication. Pharmacist and technician were exhausted and overwhelmed with ringing phone and waiting customers. CVS needs to automate SOON.
McArthur milk on sale and open 24 hours
Usually seems understaffed, but as long as youre not in a hurry it is a convenient and friendly location.
Pharmacy closed at 6 pm on a Saturday. Long lines as employees stand and watch instead of getting on a register to help clear out the customers. Very inefficient operation.
Great
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am a physician and I was placed on 20 minute holds TWICE while trying to call in a prescription. When I called back a third time to complain, the pharmacy staff was extremely rude and just said well we are busy with vaccines. AVOID THIS LOCATION.
Terrible customer service; the person who was there did not inform where the products were and did not want or receive payment for the normal boxes simply because he did not want to; they should guarantee customer service and take action with employees who do not do their job with taste and quality
