What great discovery in Gables! Wonderful experience, delicious food, fantastic service, good prices. The chocolate byte croissant was epic but the best of all was the croquette madame. Cool decor, great music, staff very friendly and welcoming. It’s a really exceptional little spot. I loved it. Definitely I will be back soon!

I started out with a café macchiato that was so good I thought I was back home in Italy it was even my favorite brand Lavazza. Super friendly and helpful staff. When I asked for Sriracha hot sauce they said they make their own hot sauce it was perfect for my scrambled eggs. The whole place has a nice soft hipness feel, Even the art work was well chosen. Go for the great service, coffee, food or Art, But GO! Update -Back for the third time this week

I come here pretty regularly for the croque madame. Its consistently delicious. I always get extra bechamel sauce, and dont forget to try their house made hot sauce. Staff is always extremely pleasant as well!

Especially if tips are asked for in advance!I’d love to give 5 stars: The fare is simple and fresh, the coffee is good, and the location is great with ample parking. I wish the wait staff were more accommodating to those who order to-go.You order either to-go or dine-in at the counter and take your number to your table.To-go customers are not allowed to wait/eat at tables and after you select your customer status, apparently it is not allowed to be changed.My party watched a staff member argue with another to-go customer sitting outside at a table quietly eating her food and minding her own business after she waited 30 minutes for it.It was extremely unpleasant and not representative of the quality of the food, skill of the chef, and the high rating of this restaurant.

Delicious egg dishes and the Belgium waffle with fruit. My decaf latte with almond milk was perfect. Very clean and modern decor. Staff is very friendly and eager to serve. Sad theyre not open on Sunday and they offer brunch. Also Im not sure the maple syrup was real or not. They said it was but it hinted of corn syrup. I could be wrong.

I have been coming here for a little over two years. This place is amazing. Its usually pretty busy when I come by but they still manage to take your order very quickly and bring it out. Very clean location. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food never disappoints. If you like chocolate croissants, I highly recommend theirs. Holy Sh&& it is the best chocolate croissant I have ever had and I am a pretty picky eater.

Bacon strips were cold. The waiter said that’s the way they serve it so customers will not burn their mouths! Rude service and the place is extremely noisy. The noise is compounded by the shouting of the cashier.They do not have a restroom in the premises; incredible this restaurant has a license to function in Coral Gables.

This is a small restaurant. Too small to have its own restroom but it still seats around 30 people. I ordered the 3 cheese scrambled eggs and it came with a croissant. Also ordered the cafe con leche. I have no complaints. Place was clean and the food was good but its not quite yet a 5 star restaurant

Everyone was super nice food was OK place wasn’t busy so we kept getting asked nearly every couple minutes if everything was good. Restrooms are not located inside you have to ask for key and it’s around corner. Not to mention the chips seemed like lays chips sprinkled with some green seasoning..

Cute little place with delicious and inexpensive food right on Miracle Mile. I had a lovely club sandwich with iced coffee (free refills!), and my friend got some killer mac&cheese. They offer discounts for UM students too!

Start the day off with an Amazing cafe con leche made by Lisandra and great options for a hot breakfast. For lunch Chef Sucre makes a daily soup from scratch and all of them are delicious. The cup of soup and a tuna scoop is my favorite lunch. Keep up the good work. It’s nice to be nice. Love Toast n Gonzo.

It is right across the street from Pure Project Home furniture store--the lovely ladies that work there are the ones that recommend it, and Im so glad they did! Its awesome that these places are so close because I can go to Pure Project and get awesome service there, and then come to Chef Sucre and enjoy a wonderful meal. Will be back very soon!

First I’d like to begin with how welcoming the owner was when I entered the restaurant. He kindly greeted us and asked told us if we have any questions about the menu to ask away.We ordered 5 times on the menu and all 5 items were absolutely incredible.- Peach Parfait- This peach parfait was made with very high quality yogurt. It was very sweet but also light at the same time. Only $4.99 for this item and it was an entire bowl of food. Very good.- City Hall Club- This City Hall Club was a turkey club sandwich with avocado inside and also this delicious garlic Mayo. It also came with bacon. The bread was perfectly toasted giving a nice crunch to each bite. The turkey, avocado, and garlic Mayo gave the sandwich a nice juicy and soft texture. The sandwich was AMAZING.- Prosciutto Truffle Huevos Rotos- This meal was also delicious. Eggs, prosciutto. Truffle oil, all on a bed of potato chips. THEY ARE NOT CHEAP ON TRUFFLE

Delicious!!! This place my husband and I found on a whim and we were so happy we did. The staff is so friendly and attentive and the food was awesome. I ordered the oatmeal with fruit and the peach parfait and my husband ordered the breakfast sandwich. We ended up only eating half of our own meals so we could swap because both meals were so delicious. Highly recommend.

So glad I found this cafe, the food and service is awesome! As soon as I walked in, the staff was friendly and helpful. Throughout the whole time I was eating, they filled up my water, cleaned up the used sugar packets off my table, and asked if I needed anything. I got the croque monsieur, which was absolutely delicious. Oh, and the prices were great, too. Can’t wait to go back :)

THE FOOD IS GOOD. THE LOCATION BETTER. THE PRICES ARE ACCEPTABLE. THE STAFF IS ALOOF AND COLD. THE BUS BOY GAVE US OUR TABLEWARE WRAPPED IN A CLOTH NAPKIN. IT ROLLED OFF THE TABLE TO THE FLOOR. I BROUGHT IT TO HIS ATTENTION. HE GAVE ME ANOTHER BUT PLACED THE ONE THAT HIT THE FLOOR IN THE BIN TO BE USED AGAIN. I WAS FLOORED BY THIS. I LIVE NEAR BY BUT I DONT THINK THAT I WILL BE GOING BACK.

The food was good, but not worth the experience and poor service. My wife is allergic to dairy when we got her coffee, it had milk in it.When we asked to have it switched out for almond milk they tried to charge her for a brand new drink, even though she only tasted it.The worst part was she just got out of surgery and could hardly talk.They embarrassed her in front of the entire restaurant.

Delicious breakfast and lunch! Every meal is homemade, cooked to order and you can certainly taste the freshness of the ingredients. My personal favorites; for breakfast the Croque Madame (The Best in Town) or the Super Loaded Muffin and for Lunch you must try their City Hall Club Sandwich or their unique Quinoa Risotto... This place is unique! Cant wait to go back

An excellent small, cozy Bistro with a Latin/French flare. A Croque Madame to die for. Excellent coffee, made in-house butter croissants and superb Belgium waffles. For lunch I always have the soup du hour which is always made fresh. The Artisanal Veggie sandwich is my favorite. Also try the Flan which is as they say “like no other”.

I really enjoyed the croque madame that I ordered, but the guess that I was with was not really a fan of his ham sandwich. Also, I enjoy the novelty of the espresso shots in cubes that melt and form and iced latte, though in my impatience, I got bored waiting for the ice cubes to melt.

I have to say.....today I had a truly memorable meal with my daughter. We both were blown away with how good the food was. Ordered croque madame and the club sandwich, with a cafe con leche. Where do I begin...... the coffee was excellent, not burned but hot and it was perfect.The superstar of the meal was the croque. The melted gruyere on top was amazing! The flavors were out of this world...everything was perfect. The club again was delicious and soooo flavorful with avocado spread.We are foodies and concentrate on the food, quality and flavors....this blew us away for an early Saturday morning. I mean if youre not going to sleep in on a Saturday morning and try eating breakfast somewhere, the least you could ask for is a decent meal....wow..what a way to start our day! The decor is chic, and very clean and well lit with lots of natural light. It was spotless. I wish it was closer to where we live. We would be here once a week. I always feel great food and service should be shared with others to help reward the establishment for standing out and going above and beyond normal expectations!

It was absolutely terrible. Ordered an espresso with a Belgian waffle. I left everything behind. It was the worst coffee I ever had and the waffle mix went sour as it was very old batter used to make it. Terrible. Will not go back!
