They were great. I thought what was wrong was not the problem. They had already given me a price for fixing it, but they fixed my AC for half of what I thought it was going to be. I definitely recommend them for your auto work.

I was told a new a.c. kit would fix my a.c. system in my 07 dodge 2500. I explained the issue and colonial insisted this kit would fix the problem for $760. It was more than I wanted to pay but my kid needs a.c. I drove from Atlanta Georgia bc I grew up here and felt it was more trustworthy. Come to find out, they were just throwing parts at it. My old compressor worked fine. Evidently the line had a rip in it( $199), online ($79) Now I know they dont actually diagnose an issue. They throw parts at it and just call you with the classic, we also found this issue . Go somewhere else, classic mechanic schemes here. I did not even need a full a.c. rehaul. I had a hose leaking that did not hold pressure.

TLDR: This is the best automotive shop in the city!This is hands down the best place to fix your car. Ive been to ALL the automotive places here and this is the only place I can truly recommend. My back breaks were coming off and against my request they fixed them. This sounds bad but let me reiterate. *My breaks were coming off!* Then they tightened my transmission and filled up my oil and trans oil because it was empty. Instead of 25 bucks for a check-up it was 100. Now I asked them not to do anything until they contacted me but instead for the sake of my safety and life as well as others, they went ahead and fixed my car. I was not mad but stressed as I didnt have the money and I even stated before hand I didnt. They worked with me but I was able to pay them in full because of family help. Now the big question is, Did they rip me off? A big NO. I know my oil was low and I didnt know it was almost empty. Also my breaks were indeed falling off as I had then seen the work done myself. Also, my break peddle was extremely soft and I sent this car to docs auto only to be told its my master break. It wasnt. I could have died in a wreck if not for them. 100 bucks to save my life? Sure. Now my break peddle is very hard and works great, also my transmission no longer doesnt work occasionally. Thank you Colonial Automotive! 11/10

They have quoted me the lowest price in town by far! For alignment and mount and balance. I have had work done by them in the past and never been disappointed. If you want to save some money go see them!

They didnt fix my squishy brakes, but still charged me $340. Claimed the master cylinder was bad, but I had just put a new one in. I bled the brakes, but they claimed they couldnt do it. Totally dishonest crooks.Additional information: I finally found a great mechanic that fixed my brakes...hmmmm!

Absolutely awesome service. Verified that I still wanted an alignment even though I needed tie rod ends and even made sure to come get me and show me the issues with my car.

I take back anything I ever said about this shifty company my uncle took his car to these people back in May of this year ask them to fix his brake lines told them he would be able to pay them on the 3rd of June because he lives from ssdi check to ssdi check and when he was ready on June 3rd they told him his car was not ready he kept calling them but, it was still not ready and he found out they put a mechanics lean on the car and a week later sold did not even give him a chance to to try and make payments so they pretty much robbed him

This is really good place to get you vehicle worked on. Prices are very reasonable and you can either bring your own parts to be replaced or they will get them for you and they WONT jack up the prices on you lime other places in town like Freeman Tire.

Had a MAP sensor issue on a 97 Jeep Wrangler. Couldn’t find the right sensor with correct prongs since Jeep decided to change them. But after a couple days of inspection and looking up everything under the sun they found a way to fix the plug so that it could get juice. I was losing faith but Dennis pulled it of. Big thanks to these guys!

They cant tell the difference from a v6 from a v8. They set my timing chain from a 3.1 v6 to a 5.0 v8. Bent my valves and still tried to charge me for it. They are really nice people but I wont go there again.

Dropped Jeep off to fix bad O2 sensor which was causing check engine light to come on. They called and said Jeep was ready to go, but all they did was clear the codes. I told them we were selling the Jeep so we wanted the O2 sensor fixed, not patched. The receptionist was quite rude with us (which has happened in the past with us and other family members as well) and told us we would have to make another appointment and it would be TWO WEEKS before they could work on the O2 sensor. Weve taken our vehicles to Colonial for more than 5 years. Never again. We took the Jeep to Cookeville Transmission and they treated us right.

Well, you know, the lady of front desk always tells you that their mechanics are EXTREMELY BUSY, and they dont have the time to explain the problems they found on your car, x is bad, you want fix it? or get the f out and dont bother us with your stupid questions. And that is what you get for your bloody money.Yes, Mike is right, you need to beg them to repair your car. Get ready for that otherwise leave them alone.
