Sold me a broken car, refused to take it back, when I took it to specialist, he told me it was a 15-20 hour job for a pre-existing condition. After countless attempts to get ahold of them and arguing with them on the phone, the agreed to pay for repairs if I could prove the problem was there before hand. I sent pictures and a detailed description of the problem and they have ignored me. Now I’m stuck with a $1,630 repair, and a car that I have now associated with this terrible experience. Mill ave auto group will scam you.Here in the pictures you can see the belt rubbing on a bracket. This causes the belts to snap frequently, but it will hold on just long enough for a test drive. You can also see a loose oil pressure sensor wire, which means they probably didn’t even look this car over before selling it.

This dealership is super amazing!! I had a great experience with kind and genuine individuals! Alexis was THE BOMB! He was very knowledgeable, honest, and transparent with me during my process of buying a vehicle! Not only that he also took me HEB ton when I needed to get a money order! I drove about 4 hours to this dealer to pick up a 2018 dodge Daytona after working the Night Shift got a warm welcome when I got there offered coffee and everything, Alexis. was great but then bright the car home started have issues with the radio and have to pay almost 2,000 for repair and there’s a loud vibration coming from within the car. This business needs the manager to be accessible on site. Went on Saturday- no manager. Returned on Monday- again no manager. Waited from 11- 3 waiting on manager to arrive....and still no manger on site. Finally, we decided to head back home. It was an hour drive. Called Tuesday to see if manager was available. No one returned our call. Wednesday came around and nothing. We decided to take our business elsewhere. Bought a vehicle from another car lot. Not sure what happened. Just wish they would have been upfront with us from the beginning rather than waste our time.Alexis was a great salesperson just wish he was a little more honest.

The vehicles are detailed and you get a fresh wash before leaving. They offer a 2 year drivetrain warranty comes in your paperwork. The worst dealership!!! They sell you vehicle’s that are already about to break down. The lady at the front desk is clueless and no help. Literally hear her laughing in the back when I needed desperate answers for my truck. They have no idea what they are doing. It’s just not worth it. Thinking you could help out these small dealerships with your business when they don’t bother helping you back. If I could give them a -5 stars for how much they disappoint you.

#2 UPDATE: Third time in the shop. Unbelievable. I completely understand things going wrong when it comes to buying a used car. But the fact is, this dealer also owns an auto mechanic shop, and there is no way that they did not see these issues and the fact that things were zip tied, rigged up, etc. They let an 18 year old and his mom drive off, knowing it was unsafe and unreliable. And when things went south, less than 48 hours after purchasing, they refused to even compromise or assist in any way.UPDATE: Two months after original review, we continue to have issues beyond the normal used car problems. Battery replaced, which wasn’t a big deal. But car is back in the shop. Having to replace valve cover gasket, multiple hoses, oil pressure sensor, etc. To the tune of $1,000. So far the car has been inoperable 22 days out of 66 and we have invested an additional $2,000. Plus the things previously noted that we have put off repairing due to focusing on just being able to keep it operable longer than 2-3 weeks at a time.I would like to start this by saying that I do not have unrealistic expectations when it comes to buying a used car. We have purchased several cars from small used car lots like Mill Avenue and have never had the issues that we are currently experiencing. I expect for minor things to be wrong with a used car. That being said, I would highly recommend AVOIDING this place. Prior to buying we noticed condensation in the headlight and asked about it and was assured that the “service department” would be inspecting everything before we left. They did not. The headlight still does not work. 36 hours after leaving, the car started overheating and had a significant coolant leak. I called them and was basically told, you didn’t buy a warranty, you should take it to a mechanic. When I took it to a mechanic, they said someone sealed around the water pump with silicone trying to stop the leak, so we had to replace it ($750). He also told us that the heater core was intentionally bypassed, probably due to that leaking. So we will have to pay more to get that fixed due to there being no heat. In addition, there were numerous codes that show electrical issues. The reverse lights don’t work, dome lights and vanity lights do not work, usb outlet and navigation do not work. We paid over the blue book value, which is on us, but I have never encountered a business that did not even attempt to make something right, or offer to work with you somehow. I’m sorry for the long post, but I really felt the need to warn others.

They are friendly and helpful and they got me financed on my own with challenged credit from past credit history and loss of jobs. I haven’t been financed in a vehicle on my own in quite a few years... Go see Madison she is the best.

I’m a resident in the state of Hawaii and I found the exact truck my wife and I wanted online. I requested more information on the truck on their website and received a call from Annette almost immediately. They were very cooperative and helped make the purchasing process very easy since purchasing out of state. After returning to Hawaii with the truck it became a NIGHTMARE trying to register it due to the states inconsistent rules and laws here and the truck being from out of state. Great place to purchase any kind of vehicle, I went there a couple months ago and they had everything you could think of in their inventory from trucks, to hell cats, and even a Bmw. I spoke with the manager there and he was nothing but helpful when I needed help finding a new car. I would definitely suggest visiting Mill Ave Auto group if you live in Conroe, Spring or The Woodlands area. I went on a Saturday we were greeted quickly and they were friendly. We looked at a few cars . All the cars looked very nice and well taken care of. I was told something by one of the workers but it turned out they had mistakenly gave me the wrong info but they honored what they told me. There wasn’t the normal pressure and all. All the cars I saw seemed to be on the higher end and in good condition and the price was responsible. They answered my questions. Didn’t try selling me all the things I didn’t really need anyway. Since we lived a distance from the lot we did all we could tell they get all paperwork and things done for the sale. So we’ll just have to go back 1 time to finalize it

Bought my son a 2011 Ford Raptor. Truck looked nice but had ac leaking and 4wd would not engage. Was told it was fixed as we agreed upon. I had to put the truck in the shop 3 weeks later as the ac was still not working right and I got in the try putting it in 4wd and have to spend over 2k to fix ac freon leak on lines and cooler and 4wd system as most of the vacuum lines were missing. Also had a receipt from mill ave showing new brakes, ball joints and turned roters that was given to me from the sales person. So far to get truck in safe driving shape with ac I have spent over 7k, had to replace shocks, front brakes, front rotors and bearings, front ball joints but it is a used vehicle. My biggest issue and why I would NEVER recommend Mill Ave Auto is they lied. They lied about repairing the only 2 requested items we agreed upon besides tires. They said they would replace tires but only want to replace a single tire, we agreed to replace the tires ourselves and they would give us credit for the single tire.I have call to try to resolve this multiple times and Anette refuses to call me back or speak with me. I would not recommend anyone do business with this company as they cannot stand behind their name or product. The offered Warranty company is a joke, not worth the money as they do not replace anything, with a 7k bill they are willing to pay $200 so far and we are having to fight to get that paid.

Bought my first truck from these people and it died within a week of having it. They had it for almost 6 weeks before they finally called me telling me my warranty I bought wouldnt cover to fix the truck. So, then they decided to let me trade the truck in but only giving me $3,200 credit of the $5,000 cash I put down on the first one. Left the lot...not even two seconds later check engine light comes on. I had to replace a O2 sensor and the starter. But instead of financing through their so called bank/warranty company I went through my bank. Now, their finance company Westlake Financial is still calling me asking me to pay for the truck I traded in. I called the dealership and Josie answered. She obviously didnt want to talk to me so she handed the phone to Allen and he told me that I didnt trade the truck in, that I am responsible to still pay for both truck when the first one is in their possession and has been for over 2months. Now I am having to get my lawyer involved and fight my way to make them do right because what person would take on TWO truck notes??? Ummm absolutely not. Do not do business with these people if you dont want to be screwed over. They say oh I gave you a great deal when in reality they are making their money and saying screw you. Well, I have kept my mouth shut and been nice and believed they were actually helping but in reality they just wanted more money!! Oh and they are in possession of the new truck because they are supposed to be fixing the AC so if I get that one back and something else breaks I will know you guys tampered with it. And yes I am assuming YOU would do something like that. 👿

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. As soon as you drive off the lot, the truck screws up. Then, you will let them know, and they will trade cars and try to make you pay 2 CAR NOTES while you are only driving one of the trucks, which STILL had issues as soon as it was driven off the lot. Super unprofessional staff, horrible service, and crappy vehicles. Do NOT waste your time here. I am so happy I ended up going to JB auto sales in BAYTOWN TEXAS OFF OF ALEXANDER.
