SCAM DEALER! Do not go here, the only way to see a listed price is through asking for a quote. No prices listed on inventory in store. Tried quoting me about 17-18k on a 2021 KTM 890 adventure. Like regular adventure nothing special. These people are price gougers! Please be smart and do your research and also go to a place with listed prices. That’s how to tell if a dealership is mostly honest or not.Reference the prices listed on the manufacture website plus the tax, title and license per your zip code. Will equal your total, not their mark ip fees.
Great shop! You looking to buy a KTM this is the place. Joe will get you out riding on what your looking for. I highly recommend
I purchased a Triumph Street triple R in 2017 from a another dealer due to price. Used ACE from the first service because they were right down the street from me and I liked the atmosphere. Sadly no more Triumph nor Ducati service or bikes there. Now I have to go to Marin (not happening) or San Jose. 1hr away!! Pleasanton has Triumph now but had a bad experience with them this year so no go.Thanks Covid, this sucks.
Here I am broken down on the Richmond Bridge the day after my 12K service, Ace plates and all. The fuel host was not reattached properly to the tank, as you can see there is no shoulder on the bridge. This is a dangerous place to be. Normally I would treat this quietly with the dealer, but after leaving an email and a voice mail only asking to replace the $12 hose ruined because it was soaked in gas: no response. Never again.
Amazing service. Most friendly & knowledgable dealership I have ever been to.
Good place for KTM parts in Walnut Creek
I had a great experience with Matt on buying a used Ducati. He was extremely knowledgeable, endlessly tolerant of my questions and got me a price that worked for both of us. He wasnt in the least bit pushy, never tried to get me to make a decision on the spot, never tried to sell me something I didnt want, and in fact talked me out of buying some things that he thought were a waste of money.I recommend anyone looking for a bike in this area talk to Matt specifically. Hes one of the only salespeople Ive ever spoken to who genuinely seemed like he just loved bikes and wanted to get people on the best bike for them, and wasnt looking to throw you out the door on whatever he could sell you.
These guys are the best in the business! John and Matt took great care of me when purchasing my brand new 2019 KTM 250SX. I highly recommend this dealership not only because they have the best prices on bikes in the area, but they are some real stand up guys who truly care about the customer experience from start to finish. I love my new bike, and will be purchasing from these guys again next time!
They leave ads and inventory listed they do not have and have not had for a very long time. Otherwise pleasant atmosphere
Bought Triumph parts here several times. Once they sold me the wrong brake pads on a Saturday. I attempted to install Sunday for a 5 day ride starting Monday. Had to get pads from someone open on Sunday. Fast forward a couple of years. I find brake pads on my work bench. I go to Ace for parts and was able to exchange the pads. Turns out, there was a misprint in the cataloging system. I am not the only one who got the wrong parts. Lol!Thanks guys!
Very good!
Nice guys but the website and Google both say they are still selling ducati but they dont have ducati and they only have KTM and the stock they have is really low. I know these covid shutdowns have played havoc on our retailers and Im sick of it.
I spent an awesome afternoon trying out bikes and gear. What a total pleasure to geek out on bikes with Matthew, who seemed more concerned about me learning about motorcycling than about making a sale. Im still deciding whether to go with a used bike, but if I buy new Im buying it from Matthew at Ace. What at top notch place!
One of the extremely rare motorcycle dealerships which are honest. I believe this is because James, owner of the dealership, is a rider himself. My personal experience has been extremely pleasant with Ace Motorsports. Staff is technically competent and cheerful! No wonder I get my motorcycle serviced at Ace though it is 50+ miles one-way for me instead of another dealership, a mere 20 miles away..
A little bit of snafu that they fixed immediately. Extremely fun people to talk to. Even recommended fun spots to ride
Fantastic service department. Ive been bring my motorcycle here for service since they opened.Always high quality work, on time, and friendly staff.Today I got a back tire replaced in 45 minutes, but in years past they have reflashed my computer, fixed a coolant leak, and replaced a bevel box on a shaft drive Rocket 3 for me.All the expectations are met here for a luxury dealer experience.Good parts department, too. Ordered a water pump from them on another occasion and they got it fast. And, Ive never been able to find a wrench mark on my bike when I get it back from this dealer. If you are shopping for a marque that this dealer carries, you probably appreciate that as well.
I am not sure what is going on with this place,it seems they are having difficulty getting inventory. I have been waiting for a few months for Thruxton R to arrive. I had been work with Matthew who was straightforward, and good to deal with. However I found out he has left and gone to Munroe Motors. Now there is just some guy sleeping at a desk, and a kid who knows very little about the product. This is disappointing because I have moved to the East Bay and they are now my local dealer.
I love this place. Knowledgeable staff. Friendly. Talked to Bridget over the phone and she knew exactly what my problem was. She set me up with a time to bring it in, didn’t have to wait for the mechanic Chris to put it on the rack. They got me back out on the road in no time. I highly recommend this shop.
Employees were friendly and helpful
Got the BEST DEAL I could ask for. Matt was Amazing!!!!!!! I barely right reviews and if I do, its for a poor service. But the service I got was exceptional and is totally worth it. If you ride, Check them out for sure.
I never thought I would go out of my way to write a positive review for a dealership, but here we are.Buying a new motorcycle from Ace has been a pleasure. Unlike every single car/motorcycle dealership I have dealt with in the past, the people at Ace are competent, friendly, honest, and they have gone above and beyond several times to make sure I was taken care of. They clearly care about customer service. I was able to demo a few of the bikes I was looking at, and there was not even a hint of the sleaziness or pushiness typical of dealerships. The service department has also been great. Break-in and warranty service has been a breeze, and the prices have been fair. All in all, A+ experience dealing with these guys.
Awesome experience thank you to Matt and John for giving me the best deal possible. Thank you to the dude in parts. Can’t remember brr his name. Sorry man. But everyone there is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend ACE Motorsports if your looking for a ktm Ducati or triumph.
This shop use to be my go to for my motorcycle repairs, up until recently. I have been servicing my bike with Ace Motorsports since 2016, never taking my bike elsewhere. I had an issue of concern with a leak that was specifically voiced and documented, On left hand side, drips down to engine cover, COMING FROM UNDER GAS TANK.** My bike was left with them for 7 days, with a charge of $135 for diagnostic (on top of other fees for refreshing my bike, Totaling $473.59). Upon pick-up, the service manager Andreas, informed me that it was a disconnected oil recirculation hose. After bringing my bike home, I parked it in the garage, and a fews days later I noticed the same leak dripping down the side of the chassis. I live an hour away from their shop, and already spent whole day dropping it off, with another 7 days return only to have been provided an incorrect diagnosis. When I found time, I decided to take the bike apart myself, only to find it was not a loose hose. My gas tank was warped, and not only that, THEY REPLACED due to a recall back in 2017 (having my service records). I decided to kindly call and speak to Andreas about my frustration and disappointment hoping he could help to resolve matters. He didnt seem to really care, but rather, he came off defensive stating that there was a loose hose and he, apologizes that i feels this way. He asked what I would like him to do about it, and I asked for a refund on the $135, in which he declined. He did nothing but apologize for me feeling the way I do, and interpreting things the way I did. Now its going to cost another $465 for a replacement part that they had supposedly replaced already, along with the incorrect diagnosis as a loose hose.My bike isnt under warranty and I didnt expect nor ask him to replace the gas tank. I simply wanted him to refund the $135 charged for diagnosis.I advise people in the future to be cautious and address matters with extra concern and questioning. I will not be taking my bike to them in the future. All trust and respect was lost, thank you Andreas for nothing.Below are some photos of service records along with the newly warped gas tank.
New owner for this place and he is awesome. My grandson and I were just window shopping (still a little to small for the KTM 85) but still took the time to talk to us. Showed us some new safety equipment for what he currently rides and talked about what may be the right time for the bigger bike. He needs new riding boots soon and will definitely go back there and buy them from him. First time in there today but I have a good feeling about this guy and his place. It will definitely be shopping for his next motorcycle there.
Awesome service, friendly staff, great value for $, and quick turnarounds. Andreas and team do a great job in service Dept.
I needed a part for my Ducati that wasn’t in stock at my closest dealership (MotoCorsa Portland). Adam had the part in stock and is shipping it out to me so I can get back to riding. Thank you!!
This is now the second motorcycle that I have bought from ACE motorsports and I cannot say enough great things about John. Without him and all the hard work that went into making this deal happen I would not have my dream KTM motorcycle. John went above and beyond for me and I cant thank him enough for what he did for me. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by to see John and I will continue to recommend ACE Motorsports. I look forward in continuing to do more business with John and ACE Motorsports as I will be getting my 3rd and all future bikes from him.
John is a standup guy. Appreciated the quality of service and overall concern with treating customers fairly. John has earned my business and loyalty. The parts department is also very helpful and if they dont have the part theyll order it.
THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, super rude!!!! THEY WILL SCAM YOU IF YOU DONT STAY WOKE!!!!!! STAY AWAYTHE PLACE AROUND THE CORNER IS CHEAPER AND MORE PROFESSIONAL
Great service! I took my bike in to get a tune up, they stayed in touch with me to let me know how my bike was doing during the process. The bike was done when they said it would be and most importantly, its running great.
Went in for to get my tires swapped and a chain service, and was impressed by how many bikes they had! Tons in the showroom, a bunch out back (a lot of customer bikes) and some out front even. Definitely more than the small Ducati Seattle dealership I was used to.Service was quick and friendly, they even alerted me and ordered parts for an open recall on my bike. Look forward to going back again to check out all of their accessories and parts- looks like they have a pretty good selection.
Man this is THE place Motorcycle shop in the Bay Area! Matt and Matthew are top notch, both experts in Triumph and Ducati. And Rich is service is super on it. Great team I highly recommend. Ive purchased 4 KTMs there and been looking for a new Triumph. Best Service around!
Absolutely fantastic! Knowledgable staff and fair pricing. Matt and Matthew keep doing good things!
Great service, good parts and cycles
Really a gem of a motorcycle shop! They made me feel extremely comfortable right away. Service staff were friendly and efficient and answered every question i hade. Overall best thing about this shop is that everyone there seems to really love motorcycle and the feeling in the shop is more like a bunch of people who really love motorcycle hanging out and fixing bikes and selling bikes. Thats why the motorcycle community is different you will never get that in a car dealership!!! Overall no better shop in bay area for your KTM needs!.
Total professional atmosphere. These guys ride and it shows in their work.I have complete confidence in my machines when I pick them up.
Ordered an exhaust system for my bike, paid the $1500 for it, waited a week and a half for it to come in, called to schedule the service and this is when they mention that the bike has to be trailered in, needs the license plate taken off and all the other street legal accessories disabled or removed before they will install the parts I ordered from them. So not only do I have to find/rent a truck trailer ramp config to get my bloody bike there I am assuming that my exhaust is illegal in CA. Sure would have been nice if one of the 3-4 people I talked to while ordering all of this would have mentioned any of this before I spent all that money. I guess these guys only care about the sale. Heres to hoping that the quality of the work on my bike is better than openness of the sales staff. Feeling duped
Matthew and team are very knowledgeable, approachable and helpful. Highly recommend Ace if youre looking for a Triumph, Ducati or KTM
Go see John & Matt in sales they will hook you up with best deals! I had a problem with my sale that was beyond there control, and they did everything they could to make it rite and fix the issue, In the end they did. They care for you as a person and as a customer! The service and parts staff are A++, John has an allstar cast there. They worked there butts off to make my bike rite and take care of me, staying late to get the job done. I will forever be a customer at Ace and will recomend them to anyone. Thanks again Team!!!!!
People how know what they are talking best place to buy a motorcycle
FYI, the Ducati Battery event organized by Matt Houston was amazing! It was a spectacular evening with great people who share the Ducati passion. Thanks Matt for being a wonderful host.
I have been here several times for various reasons. Last time I needed a part for the brakes on my Ducati. A pin and cotter pin. No biggie. Paid and was told 5-7 business days. Came back after the quoted time frame. They told me they would call me. Called back after 2 weeks. They said no, they would call me. Had a friend I referred to their service dept. He called when he was there and I asked him to check for my parts.... They said no and that they would call me. I called one more time...finally went in after 30+ BUSINESS days and they said the parts have been there for a while. No missed calls.. nothing. A little annoying. But I want to support local small Moto shops, so I will still be bringing bike there for service. Not to mention, my friend said he got hooked up with his KTM service better than the SF dealer and took some nice test rides.Hope to see a little uptick in customer service. An easy fix.
I took my motorcycle here for servicing. Ken evaluated my bike and gave suggestions oh what services to get and what I could forgo for now.
I bought a brand new KTM 300 XC-w, they took great care of me, competitive price.Ive since been back several times, mostly for parts and such. Parts desk guy and gal (at the time) are great. They have what I need and get me out the door quickly. The web is an incredible resource but I have to say nothing like talking to a human and getting the inside scoop.
Amazing team, amazing experience, amazing bikes... just too much amazing at this place!!! I rode off with a Multistrada Enduro and couldnt be any happier - thanks for the AMAZING experience you guys.
Was just there for some light service on my 2016 Ducati MTS1200S. John and his staff were super patient, nice and helpful. Great group of guys and a very nice dealership. I will feel comfortable coming back for all my Ducati, KTM and Triumph needs. The new kid, Zack, was the star of the show!!
Thanks briggete and guys for taking care of my 848 evo Excellent service.. good people highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼
Promised me a bike did not come through. Its like they dont want to sell stuf . Better then you feelin . Not happy never again
Best Motorsports there is ! Matthew Thrun was amazing and fun to work with ! Really reliable && very lenient/ negotiatable with prices, wouldn’t go to any other store if I were you
I stopped by Ace Motorsports on Friday (3.15.19) looking for a new KTM XC-F. When I walked in I was greeted by a gentleman sitting behind a computer. He asked what I was looking for. I told him and he said yeah, we got those. Then he started showing me videos of him illegally riding an electric KTM on the hiking trails between Concord and Clayton. He was telling me how he rides it on Mt. Diablo also. I decided to go look for the bike myself The other salesman asked if I needed help. I did and explained what I was looking for. He said he didnt have any in stock. I said thanks and I moved on.Ive been riding offroad for more than 35 years. At no point in my life has it ever been cool to blaze my own trail or ride where I am not supposed to. California is making it harder and harder to do things. Own a diesel truck, Guns, etc. Why would you ever do this and think its cool? And then show it to people like it was a good idea?Ill take my business elsewhere to a place that respects the sport. Not a place that makes it look horrible in the publics eyes.
I bought a ktm from the guys and it was a very positive experience. The guys are helpful, fast and informative. They had the bikes I wanted to test ride and once I decided on the bike the execution was very swift. They fill all the paper work for DMV and I got my registration, license plate and a tag out of the door. I wish they were located close to me so I could come for regular service.
Under new ownership customer service is a night and day difference. Friendly staff, great inventory, awesome experience.
Friendly and very helpful staff.
Great prices ! Friendly staff for sure recommending this dealer !!
Friendly people who are dedicated to providing help for you and very knowledgeable about the life and the sport and have lots of benifits for customers.
Its the best local place to go to get your ktm running like the day it came off the line.
I cant speak highly enough of this dealership! Everytime I walk in they are inviting and friendly, and Matthew from the sale department is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I usually cant stand car/motorcycle salesman due to their often pushy nature, but I experienced the exact opposite at Ace. They are attentive, but do not try to sell you something you dont want or need. In fact, although I originally went in to look at the Panigale 1299, Matthew showed me a few bikes that he thought might be better fitting to my riding style even though they were less expensive! They have a great selection of gear and have demo bikes in just about any flavor you can imagine, which is rare.Today I went in to talk to the sales department and I had the same excellent experience/service. Very knowledgeable, not pushy at all, and gave me his full attention even when I was just there to buy an oil filter. Many times these higher end dealerships treat people differently depending on the amount of money you have spent there, but you wont have that problem at Ace. I will definitely be using them for all my Ducati servicing/parts needs and will absolutely buy my next bike from them....hopefully a Panigale V4 S.
Terrible dealership overall. Guys need to learn how to run a business
Had a good experience there buying a motorcycle from Dave here. Friendly bunch of people. Dave gave me a great deal on a 2015 model :-)Will be taking this bike to their shop today. Will update this post once I know these guys better.edit: Love the guys at Ace, you get what you put in with any dealer and Ive always been straight with these guys and they are always straight with me.Only downside is they lost their Ducati dealer license so they can no longer do warranty work on Ducati motorcycles. Huge shame as I live locally and probably wont be able to get another Duc because of it.
My name is James and I am a young African American male. I walked into Ace motorsports interested in buying a Ducati Hypermotard. I have 750 credit score and have already been approved for the purchase. I told the salesmen that I am going to Sacramento to pick up my bike but would be willing to purchase it at ACE. The salesmen walked away and completely blew me off.
Quoted $140-150 for an oil change. Are you guys insane? Check for pricing before having service done. Ive never heard of $100+ labor charge for a simple oil change. Ludicrous.
Ive never been to Ace Motorsports. I own a Gold Wing Limited Edition. As a business owner myself, I see the negative comments on this page and it bothers me. It seems the person is just on a rant to disgrace the bussines without any actual foundation. The fact that they were hostile to you always has to do with the attitude you yourself show or your demeanor. Ive been to most of the shops in Concord and I can tell you not one was deserving less than a 5 stars. I had a client some 5 years ago who got PERSONALLY upset with me because I would not do an illegal translaction he wanted to do with official goverment documents, and he went and did his best to try to badmouth us on the internet and facebook. Over 800 of my clients in facebook responded to him with a passion, practically rolling him over and over with their words and examples. But it did do damage to us, as I began getting questions from out of California clients. So for anybody looking to do bussiness with a local repair shop, go there, feel them out, keep your personal feelings to yourself or base them only on what you get from them, and worry about your bike getting the best service possible. That is really all that matters.
Terrible place. The poorest inventory I have ever seen:I went in to check and try a multistrada 1200 : they only had 1 new and 1 used model. Seriously! Some of my friends at home have more Ducatis than these guys do!When I asked to test ride one, first they offered to let me ride a 2010 model (7 years old!) but then they even refused that since I was wearing bermudas and not long pants.I mean, its ok if you sign off that you can get in an accident, loose limbs or even die while test riding but they cannot accept that you burn your legs!!!The manager was complety unprofessional and he did not even take the time to talk to me.The worst customer (although I wont ever be their customer) care I have ever experienced. All the 5 starts reviews must be family members or emplyess (like the one who claims they are expert of Ducati and Triumph) but then says he only got KTM from them!)PSThere are better Ducati dealers in the area, dont give these guys your time or your money
Im looking for a new Triumph. The staff are frendly and helpful
I couldnt have been any happier with ACE I somewhat expected to be ignored on my first visit mostly because i was in my shabby work gear but Dave treated me like any other customer answered every question i had and helped me get the bike Ive been after for months at the price I wanted to pay. They even let me keep my other bike at the dealer over the weekend to let me ride my new bike home! Every time Ive been back since Im always treated with the same top notch respect and the sales guys are far from pushy. The gent at the parts desk fills me in on mew stuff available for my model bike amd theyre all just as good with hanging out shooting the breeze. Every dealer is been to previously just felt like they were out to get my money but ACE just wants to help you enjoy the ride and live a dream hahaha i will definitely continue to do business with these guys. I mean who else gets you on your new bike and on the road in a couple hours on a saturday!?
Had a good bags selection
Very professional staff especially Auggie. Ive known Auggie since he was working at Fairfield Cycle and when I say he knows the knowledge on motorcycles he knows it. So if youre in the mood to buy a motorcycle go see Auggie you wont regret it!
Good motorcycles . Good people
One of the only motorcycle shops that will let you test drive any motorcycle from Triumph to Ducati. Great sales staff.
Service Department staff are friendly and very knowledgeable
Bought a Ducati 848 here. Now knowing/visiting the other ducati dealers throughout the state I can now say the ownership, attitude, and product availability associated with this dealership is provably the lowest amongst others. If your serious about Ducati ownership and the experience associated with buying a quality motorcycle from trained and knowledgeable staff avoid this place.
Joe Akrop, my go to man for how too, questions and answers for all things Moto!Hes The Real DealThkx Joe!
Matthew Thrun is the chillest sales person on the west coast #ralph
I walked into ace motorsports looking for a motorcycle with $5000 on hand ready for a down payment. I tried to talk to a sales associate but they straightup ignored me just because i looked young. Another dude came in and asked for help and he got assistance while i was just standing there looking like an idiot. You guys lost a customer, your loss not mine.
Made a service appointment one month out. They called and cancelled it 24 hours before and said the next appointment they could set up was 2 weeks away.
Great people, Exelent service... highly recommendation...
Cool dealership of Euro bikes.
Great customer service
Awesome place. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful
2 weeks appointment for replacing tires on wheels that are already off the moto!
Great staff and shop!
Extremely friendly staff
I bought a used bike from them, took it home, and the thing would not start! They told me there was nothing they could do. Super lame staff did not even make an effort to help me. These are some shady dudes.
Lots of motorcycles here. Friendly staff.
Nice experience
Very bad service
Great stuff
