9/17/21. I went to the Firestone at 715 Contra Costa Blvd, today at 3: 50 pm, to ask about a lifetime alignment .and the lady at the desk left with a customer outside for about 2 minutes without acknowledging me, and then she was outside talking on the phone for about 15 minutes .maybe a personal phone call or businesses related, but the problem was that I was there for about 20 minutes all together with nobody at the office, then she ask me what was my question, but I had enough. I have been going to that store for years and never been treated that bad . She needs to go back to P R class again if they have one at Firestone ???
GF and I stopped at this Firestone late on a just as the shop was closing. The manager, Shawn and the Tech, Carlos were still willing to jump in our car and listen to the noise. They went above and beyond and we really appreciated their help and kindness.

MY GIRLFRIEND BROUGHT HER CAR FOR A TIRE REPLACEMENT. She only drive down the road after it and one of her tires blew out right away. The crash ruin her car door and now her car is ruined and requiring expensive repairs. Very traumatizing, dont get tires at this cheap place! They also dont want to pay up VERY SHADEY PLACE
Oh man!!! These dudes are sweet and won’t try to get you to buy anything other then what you need. They were so wonderful when I needed my tires fixed in a pinch. they were slammed with helping others. Way to go with showing genuine care and good customer service. Dropped off my car and got it back with a chip in my windshield. They kept my car 4 hours even though I had an appt then told me they werent trained to perform the service.

Called to get some information about wheel alignment and the girl I talked to, doesnt have any patience, not professional and have a bad attitude.
Went in for a battery. They checked the old one one and I definitely needed a new one. Felt like I was at a “pit” stop. I Was out of there in under 45 minutes. Excellent service. Very professional. Would absolutely recommend this service center to anyone. Very pleased.

I made an appointment online at noon on the 22nd. When I arrived at the store, the staff told me that he tried to call me to tell me that the appointment was full. When I told him it was clearly available, he told me youd better call to make an appointment in the future. So what do you set up your website for? In the 21st century, the company is not small, why dont you choose to be more professional?
Had a great experience with firestone ..my truck alternator went out and they were nice enough to charge my battery for free mind you so I could get my alternator and install it what nice guys I highly recommend this place clean and friendly

Gil, Ernesto, and Brendan did a great job of preventing me from paying for an unneeded $1600 maintenance bill due to a deeper inspection of my rack and pinion steering unit. Thanks guys! This is the kind of quality and honesty that keeps me coming back to Firestone.
One star for whoever manages the hours posted for this store and one star for the employee who answered the phone today. Earlier this week I arrived about 5:50pm on a weekday and wanted to purchase a battery. Was informed the store closed at 6:00PM. Both the Firestone website and this Google listing state that the store is open until 7:00PM on weekdays. (I just submitted an edit to Google for 6pm closing hours, your welcome store). The hours posted should really be consistent with the hours the store is really open. According to the employee at the store the new hours aka closing at 6pm have been in effect for about 2 years.Today I called during business hours and was told by Gil that he cant order the Interstate battery to replace my battery because he doesnt know how and NOBODY at his store knows how. I bought this interstate battery from another Firestone, which has since closed, and have a warranty. What is the point of a warranty if I cant use it? He offered to sell me some unknown brand battery for full price instead. The employee I talked to earlier this week had already offered to order me the battery during business hours, so clearly someone there knows how and there is a huge lack of training or poor customer service happening at this location or BOTH.

They are quite busy and the work takes some time.That said, I came in for a free brake inspection and left with a good overview of every problem regarding my brakes and some of my suspension as well. They did not try to upsell me on anything I didnt need and showed me every part of the car needing work that they had marked down. Also, my car was a stick shift and whoever moved it knew how to drive it and didnt put any excessive wear on the clutch. I wanted to take off a star for how long everything took, but everything else was superb, so I think the location deserves a 5 star rating.

I went for a simple oil change for my 00 Toyota Camry then they told me they seen some minor exterior cracks on the alternator belt and I said no I’m ok because my car has been running fine for a year and a half. Then a day later the battery light came on in my car then the next day which is today the abs light came on then I stopped on the side of the freeway and my car won’t start or turn on. This is not just a Coincidence they had to touch something

After years of extremely poor service, and unneeded repairs, I have 4 vehicles that I rotated in for services. I quit going there. Now under a new Service Manager, Gilbert Conlin, things have changed for the better. He has assemble a knowledgeable and experience service tech team. Its worth checking them out again, and you be the judge. Im satisfied with their certified service techs knowledge.
These folks are great! Fast and friendly service. Ive taken my vehicle here a number of times and they are always professional and courteous. They are honest too, which my last car place was not. Very happy with Firestone.
This shop is filled with absolute crooks. They didnt do majority of the work I came in for, and tried to sell me items my car didnt even need. They told me I need a new air filter because it was dirty, brake fluid flush, and coolant flush. I asked them to show me how dirty the air filter is (I just inspected it a week ago and it looked like new), and where in the manufacturer service interval says to flush the coolant and brake fluid at this mileage. They then told me they didnt actually inspect the vehicle.I came in for a vehicle inspection and tire rotation. They did not inspect the vehicle, nor did they rotate the tires. Instead they tried selling me needless parts and services. If someone chooses to work here, their integrity is likely compromised. This shop was charged with fraud in 2016 and its clear they havent changed their ways.
Had an appointment for an oil change at 11:30. Arrived at 11:20 and was told I had to wait 1.5 to 2.00 hrs. Left and came back at 1:20, two hours after my initial arrival. My car had not moved. They finally moved my car to a lift, and 30 mins. later I got it back. My question, why even make an appointment? They had my car for two hrs and did nothing until I returned and they realized their screwup. When my car was finally ready, and I went to pay the bill, not only was there no apology, it was if this was business as usual. My next stop is YELP.
I used to like and come to this location for years. I had a serious disrespectful encounter with a girl at the front service desk. I simply asked for an explanation on the list of recommended repair offers on my visit about 5 months ago. She got impatient with my questions and left the desk by asking someone to take care of me. I did report this incident to the Manager at the time ( Jackie Gerrario) who spoke to me after the service to my car was completed. With sincere apology to what I have experienced, she offered me a complimentary oil change service on my next visit and suggested to ask for someone else or her on my next visit. I went to this location this week end for my cars service with this advise in mind. Unfortunately, I was greeted with this same girl at the front desk and told her straight that I would like someone else to help me. She asked me why and told her how she miss treated me on my last visit. She again started being provocative. I ignored her and went to the next person who was very much busy of helping other customers ahead of me. While I was in line she again told me if I say any word to her that she will have to call security. I went outside called their number and asked for the Manager whom I had her business card with me. She picked up the phone, I presume it was her since she was the only woman by the front desk, and told me there is no one with that name. I told her the full name and that she is the manager. She said she is no longer with them. I decided not to even bother to go back to that location anymore.
Great service and knowledgeable and friendly staff. I have the lifetime alignment for both of my cars with Firestone and I highly recommend obtaining it to anyone.

Ive being coming here for years, for my vehicles services. The staff has always been friendly and honest, which is important to me. Ive been treated unfairly by other auto mechanic shops, because Im a female. The location is great, your options with occupying time can be walking around the mall, if you so choose, etc....
I have never been dissatisfied in the past. This year service is not so good...I waited 5 hours for them not to call me back...then I called, it was ready, and they blamed it on the faceless new guy. All I was getting was a flat check and repair. Not a big job, kinda entry level skill set...

Chad is excellent, listens well, makes good recommendations, and clearly has empathy for the customer. This store is busy and a bit understaffed so make an appointment in advance, but they do good work for a fair price and in a good location to drop off your car and then walking distance to kill a couple hours going shopping, eating lunch, going to the gym, etc.
Long story but without getting too lengthy, went in for an oil change, Firestone said I needed brakes and rotors. Asked if the rotors could be smoothed and how sailow theythey were. They did at that time admittheir machine was down after originally telling me they were going to charge me for them. They attempted to fix the error when I asked to see them and said they would replace them for free. got the car back same day and the car did not stop (Im guessing they didnt test drive it before they gave it back to me) almost hit someone in front of me. They had the car a total of 10 days. Returned it to me with a weird grinding sensation after taking it to Concord for themselves. Said it was fine and there was air in the system. Fast forward several months, brakes were squealing. And the manager of the store told me that they do not warranty work that they dont charge for. Called corporate and they deemed that it was a caliper on the car that I had replaced at Walnut Creek Ford. Also, Walnut Creek Ford confirmed that the rotors had never been changed.I had to have the car fixed in order to drive it, since Firestone had already said they werent responsible and would not even look at it.As far as customer service and trying to resolve the issues, I feel that they are lacking. I received my car back worse than it was when I took it in. I believe they attempted to fix it in good faith. But to not warranty their work and find out that the original work which is noted on my receipt as being completed was never done. They have now deemed this as not their problem, since I had the caliper replace due to the rotors being bad on the vehicle.Over 20 years I have purchase tires, oil changes, alignments, and used their credit card. Unfortunately I will not continue to give them my business after such a horrible experience.

We went in to get our brakes done. they verbally estimates an amount, did not have us sign anything, did work on our car without a written agreement (which is a legal requirement) and then increased the amount to charge by 60%. The guy started yelling that Im about to go off on these people when we were discussing the issue with his manager. Very unprofessional. Also, they did not re-attach our parking break...so sloppy work, bad pricing and unprofessional staff.
Alternator repair was $300 cheaper than dealership thanks!

I used to like this place, but their service within the last 1-2 years has gotten worse. The last 2 times that I brought in my vehicle I have gotten it back with more issues wrong with it. I had my tires replaced and after picking up the vehicle a warning light was on. After taking it back, they found that the tire pressure monitor gauge had been broken. Firestone claimed that it wasn’t due to their work, it just “happened” to break while the car was in their shop and I was forced to pay all the diagnostic work so they could find the issue and then fix the part. Beware.

Firestones best value is the lifetime alignment package you pay one time and you can bring your car in at no further cost to have it aligned every six months.
Always give you a fair assessment of repairs that need to be done. SErvice staff is nice.

I went there to change the high light of my Veloster Because I couldnt do it because it the light was too tight, well they couldnt do it neither because they told my they will have to take out part of the car to do it and told me to go to the dealership.
