I have been coming here for years and would never go anywhere else. Its hard to find an honest mechanic let alone one that will educate you. I would have given them 10 stars if I could. There are not enough good words to describe them and the quality of what you get.

Was looking for a local mechanic after my radiator went out my kia. Went to dealership and was given a very expensive quote found Mark and he was the most honest guy I have ever spoken to. He immediately started to help me figure out the best plan without me ever committing to the job to him. That convinced me he was the man for the job had the job done without one day with a extremely fair price.

Mark is the best automotive technician I know. He is so knowledgeable about all aspects of vehicles. New cars are more complex with computers and sensors. He is up to speed on all of these.

Yesterday morning was my first time at Boles. First, I mixed my days up. My apt was actually Wed and I wrote down Thurs. :( They still fit me in. They were incredibly nice and personable. We talked the whole time. Mark explained exactly what he was doing to my car and educated on what my car needed in the future. You could immediately tell that he was honest and cared about taking care of his clients. He is involved in the community as well and works to promote positive change. He is unlike any mechanic I have ever experienced. My husband and I will be continuing to come to him for any of our car needs. His pricing was very reasonable as well!

Boles is a fantastic place! My husband and I went to get an oil change and to get an opinion on a noise our car was making, Mark fixed us right up in no time. I had a fantastic experience taking my car in for a clutch replacement. Mark was incredibly professional and his prices were very good. He stuck directly to his quote, didnt try to sell me on anything additional (in fact, he suggested that I not spend money on some additional services I requested that werent required as part of the job saving me money). Bottom line, I wouldnt recommend his services to anyone out there who needs work done to their car.

I was recommended to Mark on Nextdoor. I am so glad I went to him. Mark is honest and did excellent work. Its so hard to find mechanics you can trust. I took my vehicle in to one location and they quoted me a price of over $1000 to replace my struts and it wouldnt have even fixed the issue I was having. I found Boles Automotive online by reading all the reviews and then decided to give Mark a try. Im so I did because I found my mechanic who is trustworthy, honest, and someone that truly cares! Mark accurately diagnosed an issue with my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder that another service station failed to indentify. He found the Idle Air Control Valve to be faulty and in need of replacement. The work was completed in a timely fashion at the price originally quoted. Ive had my car serviced regularly here for the last year or so - including an AC repair, tire rotation, oil changes, and several checkups. I love knowing that when I bring my car in Mark isnt going to push anything he doesnt think my car needs. No gimmicks and no questions about his integrity. If Mark says it needs to be done, you can be sure hes not trying to squeeze money out of you. I do a lot of traveling and there isnt another person in the Carolinas I would trust with my Honda (and that includes the Honda dealerships). Overall, I think Marks business is excellent, and he has my full endorsement. Ill never go anywhere else if I can help it.

Mark Balles spenrt several days diagnosing and repairing an elecrical/compressor poblem with our 2000 Honda. He has also repaired our 1994 Honda. We have always received prompt service and repairs from Mark who is very knowledgable and friendly. Mark knows what the repairs are and doesnt overcharge you or do additiondal non needed repairs. We have been going to Mark for the past year and do not plan to go anywhere else with our vehicles. We would highly recommend this repair shop to everyone.
