Terrible customer service. Rude and impatient sales man. There’s no price in anything. First he gave one price, after we loaded the car my husband went to pay, and then the price was 8 dollars more in each bag we were purchasing. My husband said that wasn’t the price he told us first he simple said: “do you want or no?” Absolutely unprofessional, dishonest with customers.

A bit disorganized, no prices written down on anything. The guys just yell out prices based on memory...

Great place to pick up all my gardening needs. Seems to me the black redwood mulch is hard to find and these guys always carry it. I have also ordered big orders that are delivered and everyone is super professional. We have other projects planned and will definitely be back see you guys soon!

Called for pricing on 5 yards of product. Inquired about delivery and cost and was told it wasnt worth it to deliver because they could do more trips locally for other customers. I guess that traveling 17 miles for delivery at the buyers expense (I said I would pay) wasnt worth my business of $500+. Pass!

Worst experience I’ve ever had as a customer. Don’t shop here unless you like being made fun of by the employees. Apparently we weren’t the first unhappy customers of the day, because when we went in the office to try and buy some rocks, they were busy taking about punching customers. I’m completely baffled by the good reviews. Don’t shop here.

Place is great all employees are professional and welcoming. Today I asked Ed for a price and he acted like I was an inconvenience to his day. I guess he expects all the customers to know the prices before walking in.

They don’t deserve a single start. I am very disappointed with the customer service the store in Concord provided to my parents. The sales man unfairly make my parents paid twice because the receipt from the original purchase was lost. When we offered him to provide proof that the purchase was paid. He (sales man) told my mother, with a very rude attitude, that she was taking advantage of the situation and trying to get something for free. He pretty much took advantage of the situation and make my mother paid again for the material. People like this man shouldn’t work in customer service whatsoever.

Place was cool except dont like the fact that they dont update their store hours saying they close at 5 when they close at 430. Ruining work plans

I just wanted to buy some rocks. Mistakenly asked the man for help, and he took it as an opportunity to insult me for not knowing that I had to individually select every single one of the truckload of tiny rocks that I just wanted scooped up and dumped into my car. Don’t expect customer service from this establishment; they clearly have no desire to make money.

I have been an irregular customer of Mt Diablo Landscape for 10 or more years. That have always been well stocked will a large selection of landscape materials. Stone, gravel, sand, bark ... lots of stuff. They have always been attentive. Even when they have been busy they increased the pace so the wait will be minimal. Ill be there Day after tomorrow to pick up some stones. I recommend this business.

Very good place to go shopping for landscape materials in Concord. But its not so much for the Sunday Gardener as it is for the professional landscaper. Be prepared to buy materials in bulk rather than in bags.

Great staff made sure I was not buying more cobble stone than I needed. They have a larger selection than other places in the area and delivered same day at a lower price. All in all I saved half of what another place quoted. Thanks!!

The dirt they sold me was nothing like they said. 10yrds of top soil. More like 10yrds of garbage. Has broken glass and chicken bones and construction debis. Dont buy here!

Good products and prices, nice staff

Very rude and unhelpful customer service over the phone, especially when you dont have a website that customers can reference to see available products. Slightly better in person, but still dont expect much from this rock yard.

Excellent selection of rocks, bark, soils and flagstones.

I am a licensed landscape contractor. After being shorted on materials the owner was happy to lose a customer rather than make good on his mistake.
