Very friendly and courteous staff. Met me at the door took me straight to the item I needed. In and out with a smile all the way through. Every time I need an odd but simple item and they are out at other hardware stores, I can count on Sladeks to have what I need in stock and comparable prices. Great Great service. Don’t know why I ever go elsewhere.

The amount of time and energy he spent for a .38 cent washer totally blew me away. I will go out of my way to come back here. I promise, you will not find better customer service anywhere else!

Prices are good but the real reason to go to Sladek instead of another hardware store is the people. One of the last hardware stores you can find with knowledgeable employees and good customer service. I cant recommend enough.

I love the different variety of items that this store ;has, however, I have a problem when I am just browsing and every 5 minutes a staff member is following me and asking me if they can help. Ask me one time and I will let you know if I need help. It makes me uncomfortable and I wont go back. This has happened every time I go to this store.

They just recently had a lost within the family and I so saddened by that.Anyhow you got a one-star because Im sitting in a parking lot several cars have driven up all of us is just shrugging our shoulders because you are already closed! On a Friday closed at 6:00 pm daylight savings time payday for the most of us I just dont get it...

Every time i go to the hardware store im greeted and they have had what i,v needed at a fair price.

Super limited options and the staff acted as if they don’t want the business. I was looking for something specific and my father recommended going there because he thought he has seen the item there on clearance. It was my first time in the store and I wasn’t impressed enough to return.

I just want to take a minute and say thanks to Donnie and Jason. Our company does a lot of business with the Stihl department at Sladeks. Donnie and Jason are kind, courteous, and professional. According to my climbers, I am just a “stupid salesman”. Donnie and Jason make it look like I know what I’m doing when it comes to buying equipment for our company. Thanks again guys!!!

Im not sure why anyone would have a problem with this place. Theyve got quite a bit of product. Theres no shortage of staff to help if you need it. (Youre more than likely to get asked if you need help before you have to ask yourself) The prices are decent and at least for myself the trip was pretty easy/pleasant. Try this place out. If you dont care for it then there are plenty of other places to go.

I really like this small hardware store. Large selection for such a small place. Staff is super helpful. Not only sales, they offer service too. They also sell propane. Easy to find and get in and out of. Limited parking up front but lots of room out back.

If I could rate any lower than this I would! The people up there are extremely rude and treat you like garbage. Took my trimmer in there for repair. I dont believe they did what they said they did to it. Would not and could not give me any paperwork for the work done under warranty. The younger guy at the back counter was the rudest. I was getting ready to drop a lot of money buying new trimmers and blowers but Ill definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

If you have Stihl power equipment that needs repair. This is the place. Honest, reasonable and its done right. Full line with well informed staff.

Its great. Its a little high on price but. You dont have to wait on people. They come up ask you if you need assistance. And it is handicap accessible. And its easy to see from the street they got a sign out there. But they product other people dont.

I typically walk into this store knowing exactly what I need, so Im annoyed that theres someone right by the door eager to help me when I dont need it. Today, I needed it though and I was thrilled it was there. I walked in, got what I needed a lot quicker than I would have otherwise, and walked out actually excited to have what I needed to be able to do the job myself!

Awesome staff! They are my go to when I need a special bolt or something off the wall. They carry different thread pitches and lengths than about anywhere else and the staff are well trained to help find what you need. Support your local store!

Let me just say this, no one in the state is more friendly and knowledgeable and stock parts like they do here. They stand behind every sell they make even if its been 2 years ago,, They are quick to fix things ( Weed eaters, Blowers etc....when they can . They are very very fair with there business practices here, I wont deal with anyone else. They are the bestNot to mention they have the best blade sharpener in the region.Wonderful folks here to do business with . The place has a down home feeling as soon as you hit the door. Love it!!!!! I would rate this business a 10 star if they let me. Remember though they deal with stihl weed eaters, blowers etc when Im talking fixing things, they are the best.

I went in for some parts to repair my daughters brake on her scooter. Jim asked if I needed help & I brought the scooter in & he found what I needed but asked me if I had the tools to complete the repair, I said no & he put the parts on & repaired the brake. His job, so to speak, is to get me the parts I needed but he went above & beyond when he did the compete repair. These days its not very common to find customer service that excels & goes above & beyond the regular line of duty. Jim repaired my daughters scooter like it was for his own child & seemed sincerely happy to do it. I cant say enough how much that meant to me. Awesome experience.

They got mad because I asked them to cut 2 2 dowels for me after purchasing the $2.99 dowel and other supplies. I just moved here and didnt have the hand saw with me and I even explained that.Then I made a second trip to buy a 1/2 wrench and not even a smile, half of a thank you at check out. Screw the mom and pop shop hardware store, I will go to Wal-Mart or my hometown Ace hardware where I get awesome personal service and smiles even when they dont know me or if I ask them for help with a screen. Ace didnt make me feel bad for asking more if them.Im not going back.

BEWARE!!!Service deserves 0 stars. I took in a perfectly running saw with a broken piece of plastic on it. We were using the saw earlier that day for 4 hrs doing a tree removal. I asked to have the plastic piece exchanged. The following day they called me to pick up the saw. Upon arrival they said the saw wouldn’t run correctly (completely untrue) and they needed to repair several things on the motor.Upon having a conversation with a friend of mine in my industry, I found out they did the exact same thing to him.They act like they are buddy buddy with you and then proceed to pull a scam.

Great little hardware store. Wish there were more like it. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly! Feels like walking into a small town hardware store, it may not be huge but its better than a huge box store where its almost impossible to find help. Went to sladeks to have some one look at a quicky saw that i was working on i was looking for a tool to pull the fly wheel so Donny took the saw and in 30 seconds had pulled the fly wheel for me and then said i owed nothing wow!! So i brought a couple of things. And some snacks because of there kindness it not every day you come a cross people in business willing to help customers in ther store and not charge money for there services no matter how little it may be but i can tell you that this is not the first that sladek hardware has done things for people just to be the kind of neighbor that you wished every body could be thanks Sladek for being good neighbors

If youre in the tree business this is the place to get your gear if you cant find any place else they got what you need specially ropes also if you need a mower blade sharpened this is your place if you cant sharpen them yourself.
