I had my tire sensors replaced 3 times with Sears and was told the sensors were bad. They did replace them under warranty. Now I cant get in touch with them as my tire lights back on. I took it to my mechanic and again these sensors were bad and I had to pay over 200.00 to get fixed. Phone number to sears at Carolina mall is saying no longer in service.

Last summer I purchased tires from this Sears Auto Center and had no problems. I returned throughout the year to take advantage of the free tire rotations and would get my oil changed and had state inspection done there as well. I think their service and prices for those items are very fair.The problem started when I took my car there because my check engine light had come on. After running a diagnostic test they told me both the in and out oxygen sensors needed to be replaced and the repair would cost me about $500 in addition to the $80ish I paid for the diagnostic test. When I asked to see the diagnostic report to keep with my records the attendant was very awkward about explaining the report to me (first alarm). Since the parts needed for the repair had to be ordered I scheduled an appointment for the next weekend.When I got home and read through the computer generated report more thoroughly I realized that it said the oxygen sensors were OK not In Need of Repair and the only repair notes in regards to the sensors were handwritten (second alarm). I thought this was very odd and decided to get a second opinion. I then took my car to the dealership where I bought it to have them run the same diagnostic test. Turns out it was just an upgrade needed for the computer system in the car which the dealership did for free.Moral of the story, Sears Auto Center at Carolina Mall is great if you need an oil change, state inspection or tires but beware if you take it in for your check engine light they might try to take advantage of you.

Had my car alignments here today. After 4 hours waiting I was informed that they broke one control arm when they try to remove a bolt.Now I have to get a taxi back home and wait if they could fix it tomorrow. Lets hope its all good and see how they handle this issue.

Dont waste your time! This is the worst Sears Auto ever. They will not grease the chassis, or even check your air pressure unless you pay extra. I have been around the auto world my whole life. This Sears does not even have a mechanic, Just some bottom of the barrel parts changers that cant even spot a soft tire. Then when you do pay the extra to check the tires they set the air pressure at 30psi when the tires clearly say 50psi. What a joke! Oh and be prepared to sit for hours. I let them do this to me twice. My Bad.

Dont go here or you will get ripped off.I asked them for to replace my battery about 2 years ago and just recently learned that they replaced it with one that was 5 years old according to the manufacturers date!Also, I agree with the other review that says you will have a very long wait here.I will never, ever use this place again.

Michael Beck is a customer service advisor. He helped the best he could and was patient and understanding inspite of disappointment from the company they lease with. I am happy to have dealt with Mr. Beck and sears. They were outstanding in service and profeasionalism.

I found myself in the unfortunate situation of getting locked out of my car and having AAA come out and ruin my door handle in the process of getting me back in my car. I came in to just have it looked at and expecting to be quoted an astronomical amount to get it all replaced. After pacing back and forth for some time, Steven assured me that my car was in good hands with Bo & Dwyane. Not only was he right, but Bo & Dwyane just asked for a handshake and a smile as form of payment! I was their last car of the day and instead of making me feel that I was holding them back on a Sunday Afternoon, they explained what happened, how they fixed it and sent me on my way. All for the price of a handshake and a smile. They had no idea the horrible weekend that I had or what that act of kindness did for me and my pockets. Not only will I definitely be back to see Bo & Dwyane, but Ill sing their praises to anyone whos willing to listen. Thank you, gentlemen!

Mediocre honestly the people here at the front know nothing apparently. All services promised were not performed if so theyd notice how low the tire air pressure was on one of the tires plus the cabin filter is as Dusty as can be and was never mentioned. Makes me wonder who they have working there. Front desk guy didnt seem to understand that when stating I called ahead for a damned rate he tried saying something else. Its a 2014 only drive ONE year from the lot sooooooo yeah.Anyway just horrible.

I came to the store (second time for other reasons) thinking I needed a new tire rod but they tipped me off that it might be the wheel barring before even seeing my car. They were spot on. They understood what my needs as a customer was and how money was tight. They told me what was causing the sound in my car and that also how my rear tires were worn in a way that would cause me to still hear some sounds. Since I could not afford new tires at the time, they told me what I needed to do now and what could wait. They did not try to up-sell me because they understood my position. When I was checking out, they were even able to get the price lower than the estimate they gave me for the wheel barring repair. Lastly, they were able to get me out of the store exactly by the time I said I needed for work.I was extremely relieved from all the stress my car gives me as soon as I got on the highway to hear and feel how much better my car felt and sounded.I will definitely be back for future repairs as soon as I have the money.TL:DR: 2nd time to store. Both times excellent. Friendly. Didnt try to upsell. Knew what they were doing. Great service. On Time. Helped keep it cheap. Huge stress relief.

I am a fan of this location and have been a consistent customer for several years. I can schedule service online and show up. I walk around the mall while waiting. Then, before you know it, my vehicle is done. I dont feel pressured for unnecessary services but they always let me know when something needs to be done.
