Hands down the best coffee of my life. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We also ordered one of their breakfast sandwiches and a cronut which were both fantastic. I would like there to be more seating but I understand the limitations of the space. Thank you so much for the awesome experience!

I liked the place, but the staff seemed far too overwhelmed as they gave me the wrong order. Not too shabby though, it’s a cozy place. The taste wasn’t extraordinary.

Not a fan. Drink tasted like water down milk. I also paid for almond milk and pretty sure they gave me regular milk. very slow. Not sure how they handle it when they are busy or during the morning rush. The staff was nice

Awesome trip to Upper Cup Coffee for our Sunday Coffee ride with the Roll: Rabble Rousers Roast Ride. The coffee here is great, as well as the tasty freshly baked cronuts! I had their hot café mocha with 2 cronuts and they were delicious! They also had fresh baked chocolate muffins too. What also makes this place wonderful is they are a bike friendly stop! A staff person actually stepped outside to see if any of us needed to have their bike looked at while we were enjoying our treats! Definitely going to make this a regular stop for me.

This place is probably one of the best at frothing and mixing it into the espresso. The late does not look good but it comes out extremely creamy and yet there was still the perfect amount of froth on top. The sugar ratio is also perfect. The customer service is decent but not amazing. This time the espresso tasted a little burnt but my visit might just be a one off. I hope to come back again and see how it is.

This has to be hands-down one of the best coffee shops Ive ever been to. Just large enough for some small seating inside and out, and the coffee is absolutely fantastic. Its well-worth getting a bag of their freshly-roasted beans to take home with you.

Got an Almond Milk Latte and it was very good. The only thing better would have been if they wouldve had the Oat Milk I wanted. Settled for Almond and it was fine. Great coffee shop with great service.

It’s a vibe!I give the Upper Cup Coffee a 5 star because it’s a vibe, the Venue is a perfect location for a cup of coffee to go or a cup to sit with and get some morning emails knocked out. A GREAT addition, is that there’s parking available, like parking for free, not a meter! It’s black owned! Plus across the street, there’s other black owned businesses to visit. I had a Vanilla peppermint latte and it was delic!

The building has a great vibe, the music is always good, and the location is improving beautifully. Its really great to see. The coffee isnt too bad. The only issue Ive had with it pretty consistently the few times Ive visited is that the people at the bar could be a lot friendlier. Not chatty or very welcoming. The overall environment is really great, but that fact alone has made me a little reluctant to return.

Local owned outlet for coffee roaster. Small coffee shop primarily offering their onsite roasted excellent coffee. seating just limited to tables and a sofa area. Very reasonably priced for just great coffee. pourover available along with espresso drinks. The folks are super nice and engaging even when super busy line was out the door. Totally love and appreciate that they used the traditional manual press expresso machine.

Upper Cup Coffee offers top-notch drinks in a quaint, welcoming environment. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, with great customer service. However, accessibility could be a concern for those who use a wheelchair--entrance and walkways are rather narrow, and it could be difficult to navigate and find seating using a chair.

Super yummy and friendly experience. i had an iced dirty chaiit was deliciously spicy and the espresso was well balanced. i also has a donut which was basically a glazed croissant < YUM > and i had an egg sandwich w/ turkey. damn good stuff.

Upper Cup might be my favorite cafe in the whole city. Its lively, communal, and laid back vibe is hard to beat. When it comes to the coffee, this place is a home run. Beans roasted in house, prices are more than fair and the quality of every drink Ive ordered here is second to none. Great staff, friendly vibes, and good music...stop in.

Very nice micro roaster and cafe. Friendly and good service. The espresso is very good. The cappuccino is not a traditional cappuccino expect heavy on the milk with a great froth head.

Excellent mochas, great atmosphere, top notch service. Whoever roasts their beans knows EXACTLY what their doing. Bought several bags to take back home. Come in for a quick cup to go, or stay and enjoy the lovely, socially distant seating inside where the employees take good precautionary measures to keep everyone safe. Not a single complaint about the business - enjoyed every aspect.

Well I personally didnt go, but my wife did, to get 2 big to-go bins of coffee for a group of people because there was an all day lacrosse tournament. When she came back, she said not many people drank it. (We live in Cleveland).Now normally I wouldnt drink coffee thats been sitting around all day, but even as a minimal coffee drinker that she is, she said it was really good. It was a Brazilian blend. I just had to try it. I warmed up a cup without creamer, which is rare for me, but it was very VERY good. So flavorful and not bitter at all. I then had another cup with creamer, but still tasted its potent flavor through the creamer.I travel for work half the time, and if Im ever in the area, I know exactly where to go now!The usual Starbucks isnt bad, but theres nothing quite like a local independent roaster! Too bad I couldnt convince her to bring home some beans. I would place an online order if I could.If Im giving a 5/5 for a place I didnt even walk into and drank a couple cups that were THAT good even after sitting around all day (didnt even taste stale in the slightest), I would imagine you cant go wrong here.

I live in Cleveland, and every time I come to Columbus, I make a point to stop by for a couple pounds of beans from this place. I even take a coffee order from a friend who used to live in Columbus. The coffee is always fresh roasted and tastes good. At home, I use a pour over or Aero Press method, and I like Upper Cups Espresso and Ethiopian roasts. This business is Black owned, and the building has an amazing vibe, where all generations of people hang out. Its a great place to meet people, and seems to be always bustling, its also possible to sit and read or do work.

Service was fast. Ordered the egg and turkey sandwich with an iced caramel latte...both were very good. Location was good more me as well. Will definitely come back.

I love this little local coffee shop. They roast their own beans in house and they offer a small but really tasty menu of food options. I visit here often on my way to work for coffee and breakfast. They have a great staff that works quick and efficiently and gets you in and out quick. You can also buy coffee beans in bulk. I bought the dark roast and really enjoy it.

Very cozy and cool vibe here and great drinks. It’s not the closest cafe to me but I’d go out of my way to return. Lots of parking available which is awesome for the area.

Minority owned buisness and tons of community activism and gatherings happen there. I was working remotely in Columbus for the week and was lucky enough to randomly pick this place to work from. There are some incredibly bright people meeting here to make.big plans for the future. Youll find people playing chess, planning protests and networking with likeminded folks. The dirty chia is fantastic too

Love their coffee

I’ve had one plain iced coffee there before and it was ok. On the strong/bitter side as they just pour hot coffee over ice. The shop itself is cool and has a good vibe. But I just called to ask a question about two things that they offer and the guy I spoke to was incredibly rude; and just hung up after I thanked him. The conversation I just had did not really make me want to stop in to try another drink.
