The people were wonderful and very accommodating. I spent a couple hours there. Outstanding coffee in both selection and flavor. The food was amazing. I highly recommend to everyone. I vow to never visit Columbus, Ga without paying a visit to my new found friends. I wish them all the best. I might even make the place my reason for coming back. Love you guys. ❤️

Great place to gather and enjoy coffee and treats! If your looking for a place to meet a friend or get some homework done, you have found the right place. They are covid friendly and have many options for drinks, hot, cold, and non-coffee. Their snacks are fresh from like a bakery and you might find a sandwich option!

I love this coffee shop. The sugar free vanilla latte was excellent. The staff really know what they’re doing. The drink tasted authentic and delicious. I also love the fact that it’s Christian-based. There is plenty of room inside to study and hang out. No masks required here either so extra points for that!

The coffee was amazing and made perfectly. The staff was friendly! No masks required & they have seating inside and out. The sandwiches are cooked to perfection. Also I believe they do triva every week. Overall loved the atmosphere.

Midtown is so far my favorite coffee shop in Columbus. I’ve been hitting them day by day and this has the best service, atmosphere and selection of food/drinks. Will definitely be back.

Place is large than it first appears with extra nooks in the back providing awesome semi private space. Place is clean and friendly. Coffee was good and priced about average for a coffee shop. I would/will return.

Charming cafe/coffee shop with eclectic mix of furniture and a nice setting. Good for a quiet lunch alone or with friends, a place to study with comfortable couches/seats. The food is very good (try the pimento cheese), the staff is very nice. Seating outside and in front if seating is limited in the main part of the coffee shop. Parking in back and although doors open onto sidewalk these doors are not the main entrance.

Great customer service, great atmosphere, amazing coffee and food

This is one of my Top 5 coffee shops. I’ve had coffee from California all the way to Ireland and this place is top notch I tell ya. Customer service is always nicer then my family and the owners treat you as their own. Highly recommend Midtown. Try their desserts also the red velvet cake is delicious!!!!

Amazing coffee shop! Ive gotten delicious cold brew and an awesome dirty Chai tea latte. Their scones are delicious as well. Also great service. 👍🏽

My favorite coffeeshop! The coffee is delicious and so are the pastries and food. There are little rooms in the back so its great for a meeting, bible study, or if you need to get some work done. The servers are some of the nicest and in 6 years I dont think theyve ever gotten my order wrong. The place has such a nice, comfy, homey vibe, and you get to support a small business! Highly recommend.

I will say I dont go for the coffee I go for the atmosphere and the coffee is an ok experience. Its a medium roast which just isnt my taste Im sure I could mess around and find a drink worth wild but I just havent found one yet. They arent bad just not exactly for me.It is my opinion though that this is the best coffee shop in town. I much rather give my business to them then star bucks. Support local everyone!

I attended a most Wonderful December 🎂Birthday prayer breakfast. They have a private room for small group seating. The panini egg, bacon and spinach with feta cheese was good.I especially loved my vanilla 🍵 latte. Historic quaint place is always a charm.

Awesome vibe, good table spacing, lighting, and even music. Perfect for spending a few hours on your laptop. Staff is always friendly and chill, its easy to ask them questions. Ive enjoyed their lattes, matcha, and chai. WiFi good. I would go here daily if they were open daily.They do have Jesus related quotes on all the tables, and Im pretty uncomfortable with religion, but theyre very casual about it and they never talk to you about it or anything, so thats good.

Enjoyed my pumpkin spice latte this evening while enjoying a safe fun atmosphere to fellowship! Good food. Missed this place. It has been over a year or more since I have been here. Still just as awesome and comfortable! Excited to go back again soon!

Great cofee shop I love going there often...

I visited a few times while in Columbus for business. Midtown Coffee offers simple, satisfying and (most importantly) inexpensive breakfast options, as well as tasty coffee. They offer lots of options for customization, and the location and space are great.However, they “do not consent to the enforcement” of mask mandates. I understand that’s okay for some would-be patrons, but I find it highly socially irresponsible and luckily found a different local coffee shop that turned out to have the edge all around.

Gave my two friends stomach problems from the food and our drinks. the drinks melted so unnaturally, something in there had to be mutated.

The coffee was good and the muffins were great! The space is quaint. I was careful to wear my mask which is wisely recommended by medical professionals and to keep myself socially distant. I will return.

Coffee was okay. Didn’t appreciate the young blonde commenting on how much sugar is in my drink 🙄 If I wanted a nutrition lesson I’d go to a nutritionist. It was rude 🤷‍♀️ Anyways, probably won’t go back but the coffee was mediocre.

This place is fantastic, one of a kind, and family friendly. Ive been to many cafes in multiple countries and this is one of my favorites. They also had gluten free muffins for my gf!! Try the razzle dazzle, it was so delicious!

I went here with my friend to drink some coffee and work on my chemistry homework and I had ordered what I always order but my friend asked for what they would recommend to her. She got a honey almond cold brew drink and it was so amazing that I had to go back and order one for myself! Great coffee house! Love the atmosphere! Love the people!

Love that they let me use my reusable tumbler for my coffee! My carmanilla latte with almond milk was absolutely delicious! There are lots of games to play and plenty of seating.

I was so disappointed that Midtown Coffee would wilfully resist Covid mitigation efforts to help keep the pandemic under control and get our economy back open again. I returned from my deployment to find they posted a sign on their door that they dont respect governments authority to enforce a mask mandate. Even without respect for the law, they should still voluntarily act to keep their patrons and their community safe. I wont be returning.

I love the food here, I was a regular for a few years and having been craving it, but unfortunately I don’t feel safe coming in due to the shop’s choice to opt out of the mask regulations :/ disappointed that a business I love is not willing to take simple precautions to keep people safe.

Their coffee has made it to where I can’t appreciate anyone else’s coffee anymore.

Very cool place to spend a couple hours alone or with friends. The aesthetic is very trendy and the service is excellent. I ordered the iced matcha and it was the best I’ve ever had. Also, they have some of the nicest/cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen.

The staff was incredible and the food was outstanding! I highly recommend the donut of the month and the cowboy caviar! There is outdoor seating as well as indoor seating so if you are looking for a place that has great options for social distancing dining, this is it!

Coffee was a bit strong but I LOVE the purpose of this place definitely something to go see and ask questions about the mural on the wall. The lady working the night was very informative and friendly. Quiet place to come chill in a quiet and easy going atmosphere.

It was just okay. The location is nice with lots of great parking. I can tell they really went for the authentic coffee house theme but it’s so dark and rugged - it’s makes me wonder if they ever bother to mop or dust because it comes off as muggy. I tried the chicken salad on croissant and a hazelnut latte. The chicken salad was not that great. It was very dry. At one point some of the CS fell off the croissant in....blocks. It was that dry. The latte was okay. I sat on the couch near the speaker and music amps and there were crumbs on the cushion. I will not be trying this place again.

Best coffee in town and doing good work

I’ve only gone here once, pre COVID-19, but enjoyed my visit. There was plenty of space inside and outside to sit and work at. My drink was great and there was free WiFi.

Cute place and great selection of food and drink. We went for breakfast and both got the breakfast panini. My wife has a gluten intolerance and they were happy to accommodate. As far as the coffee goes, it is the best around. We are pretty particular coffee drinkers and boy were we satisfied. My wife got the Honey Almond Cold Brew and I got the Cubano Cortado (not on their menu but every coffee person knows it). Typically when I order a traditional coffee the places nowadays don’t know about it or do it but not midtown coffee. They make traditional coffee served to perfection. 10/10

The House Chicken Salad is a most delightful salad! so full of flavor and character that I did not need the salad dressing that came with it. I absolutely love salads and fancy myself a connoisseur and this was a very special treat from an unexpected coffee shop. I am pleased to have been able to make a stop there while visiting my daughter who is stationed at Ft Benning. Kudos to Midtown Coffee House - cant wait to visit again.

Cute shop, rustic ambiance, friendly closing barista, and pretty good coffee. I get nervous trying new shops cause it can either be a hit or a miss with if the flavor of the coffee will taste like what I ordered, but they were great.

Really enjoy catching a quick coffee or breakfast here. The staff is helpful and welcoming. Its great to see a local business doing well. I would recommend that any order for breakfast include the request for them to use a cracked egg otherwise they might use the baked egg thats made in advance and it really brings down the quality of the food.

This is a lovely coffee shop with a great atmosphere. The coffee is wonderful and the Kale salad with chicken salad on top for some extra protein is to die for! Its pretty big so I usually take 2 sittings to eat it or it would be great to share. I also love the Samoan Chill with almond milk!The staff and owners are lovely people and there are board games on the shelves. They also have trivia nights and live music.

Since moving right down the street my roommates and I have been here every other day. Everyone is always kind and we love the atmosphere. I will keep coming back.

Always a good visit here. Honestly, I am not crazy about their coffee selections (though they are good, I just do not like bright character (acidic) coffees, theyre still good). Their tea selection is good, and their sandwiches and baked goods are always tasty. The service is always solid and friendly. It a big enough place to usually find a seat, and they have nice patio seating if you prefer to be outside.

This a great place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is tasty and the prices are very reasonable. The coffee is the real reason to come here though, absolutely wonderful drinks and several options to choose from. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming, its great place to hang out and drink coffee.

Very cute coffee house. I am a Starbucks addict, but I did enjoy the coffee. The cinnamon roll was delicious. Also, Midtown Coffee House is a great place to just kick back. The atmosphere is amazing, and they have tons of card games or board games you can play with friends.

The coffee was good, and I loved the old-fashioned set up. I also enjoyed a bagel with some yogurt on the side.

By far my favorite coffee shop in Columbus. Pastries and desserts are made fresh, and the dark roast pour-over is better than what Ive had in more expensive coffee houses. The coffee drinks are very good, not syrupy like other places. The owners are good folks, and the mission of their shop is to make the world a better place (Im not embellishing). Do yourself a favor and get the kale salad.
