This place is amazing! It was so good that I didn’t even have time to take a photo before we ate all of our ice cream. We got ice cream and some of their fudge, both were delicious. The best I have had in a very long time.Also, every single one of the staff were so kind and friendly and helpful. They let us taste things and take our time. They also give a military discount which is great! We will definitely be back!

From the moment I walked in, I was amazed at everything that I saw. There is SO much! I saw chocolate covered strawberries, caramel apples, and chocolates — just to name a few. I did end up going with an ice cream cone though and let me say, this was the best ice cream I have ever had! I got the cake batter with sprinkles in a waffle cone. So good! The customer service was really great too! I can’t wait to come back!

My children made me spend so much money in here. I cant say how good anything is because I only paid but my kids loved everything from the fudge, candy apples and ice-cream. I will definitely bring them back. The customer service is also great. The workers are helpful and courteous.

Love this place and the treats are delicious. I always pass this place when working out. One day I decided to go on the inside and been hooked. The staff is super friendly and always greet me when a smile.

Every Kilwins has its own unique atmosphere. They do a nice job of capturing the vibe of the area where the store is located. This one is no exception. It fits in nicely with Downtown Columbus and they have the same great ice cream you could expect from any Kilwins. I am personally a fan of Georgia Peach! Its hard to resist when they are making fresh waffle cones.

Of course I had to try the Georgia Peach ice cream. Very tasty!

Chattahoochee mud is my favorite, the wife likes the raspberry stuff. Great place!

We love coming here for a treat once in awhile! The staff is very friendly and extremely patient if you are someone like me and cannot decide on a flavor so you must sample a minimum of five flavors before finally deciding! The ice cream is always good and I can appreciate that they rotate their assortment as well.

Very inconsistent customer service. I cant but feel like the inconsistent service is targeted. I went in with a group. Non of us were wearing mask. There was no sign on the door requesting that mask be worn. Some staff were wearing mask some were not. I was served by a very nice college age employee who was very nice and helpful who was wearing a mask. My friend was told to leave the store and refused service for not wearing a mask by an employee not wearing a mask. When asked why the employee wasnt wearing a mask he replied he was not required to wear a mask as an employee but refused service to customers who did not have on a mask. Ultimately, the fudge left a lot to be desired, and the customer service made it not worth a return visit. I would be happy to speak with management in more detail but they would not take my call.

I have Kilwins on my Go To List because of the sampler gift boxes that I have received from my husband!!! I dont know if it is the variety or flavors that is the best... I just know that while a piece is being eaten, it is bittersweet... Because it was the only one of that particular delicious sample!!! When you are eating one, your palate is seeking its next yummy!!! LOL!!!.I have decided that I dont need to ever visit Willy Wonkas Chocolate Factory as long as I can get my sweet tooth fixed at Kilwins, on Broadway in Columbus, GA... They most definitely are as Sweet in every Sense since 1947!!!

The staff are nice. The selection of fudge and other treats is good, but the ice cream is WAY overpriced. The cone and the cup are literally one scoop of ice cream. Come here to indulge a chocolate craving, but go elsewhere for your ice cream.

You know you finally have a touristy area in the city when a Kilwins moves in. The store is a great addition to the early blocks of Broadway, giving a different option for desserts after the craze of frozen yogurt places slowed down. This store has an attractive front where you can see different desserts being made in the window, and they have a great selection of fudge and ice cream. Weve been able to grab some scoops on nice days and sit out on the tables outside enjoying the atmosphere. Im glad that this place has been able to help breathe some life to a once forgotten block of downtown.

We usually get the toasted coconut! Theyre pretty friendly. The place in convenient since its in downtown!! Will come back

From the time you walk in, it smells like happiness. We were greeted energetically at the door, and I LOVED IT. Everything is clean, organized, clearly and beautifully labeled. The ice cream is rich, smooth, and Uber creamy. A single dish will definitely do, with their generous scoops.

I used to come here for ice cream a lot. But the customer service was always terrible so I stopped going. Until today. I had stopped into Rocket Fizz and was talking with the manager there about getting ice cream next. She suggested Kilwins saying it was great. I should have followed my gut and went on down to freeze frame. As always before I felt like I was an inconvenience to the staff. 🙄 Got my ice cream and left. After two bites I tossed it in a trash can. Wasn’t as good as I remember.

Just try one of the apples. Theyll actually cut it into slices, which makes it much easier to eat. Id recommend sharing the candy apple with someone. Its huge!

I discovered this tasty little delight by accident while strolling down Broadway. Imagine my delight when I walked through the doors of Kilwins! OMG! The smell alone is pure heaven. Add that with the most delicious ice cream I have ever eaten in my life, along with a great staff and you will have found perfection! They have other confectionery delights but my favorite is the Turtle Cheesecake Ice cream! These sweets are a bit pricey but you are paying for the quality. Very well worth it!

My aunt brought me here while I was in town visiting this past weekend. You know a place is good when your aunt uses it as a way to help convince you to move to her area. I sampled their cake batter ice cream. Very Creamy and buttery tasting. Very good but very rich. The sample bite was plenty. I ended up buying the Cherry ice cream. Wonderfully tart and sweet at the same time. My cousin got a root beer float which was apparently so good that she somehow managed to consume it while still carrying her sleeping infant in her arms. And my aunt got my uncle Taffy from there as his sorry honey present since we did kind of abandon him that night. It was phenomenal, it will definitely be a place I stop every time Im in Columbus.

Cross the threshold and smell the sweetness! Caramel apples with assorted toppings, Apple Pie or Georgia Peach ice cream in waffle cone bowls, and all the confectionery chocolate one can stomach! Its a little pricey, but worth indulging your sweet tooth. Sit inside and enjoy the climate controlled environment or outside at a table or one of many benches lining the pedestrian friendly sidewalks.

Great place ice cream and chocolates to go. The store is small and gets crowded when 6 or more customers are in the store. The fudge selections are plentiful. The ice cream cone portions are very generous. The flavor selections offer something for everyone.

A.MAZING. EAT THE APPLE PIE ICE CREAM. The Apple Pie Ice Cream is...perfect. And Ive had various pie ice creams. This was so good. Their fudge is delicious. Rich in flavor and not super sweet. And their peanut butter cups(think Reeses but bigger and way better). Yes. All day yes. So so good.

Great chocolates & ice cream. They are pretty busy, especially on the weekends. Even being busy, they are generally pretty quick. Like everything downtown, its a small space. If you want to really be able to look around, visit when they arent as crowded. Friendly staff and clean inside.

Their serving sizes are way to big. The ice cream was way to rich and milky and sweet.

Nice atmosphere, even though we came in close to closing time, the help was friendly. I had banana fudge pie and cappuccino chocolate chip icecream, and a couple of dark chocolate pecan turtles. It was aaaalllll good!

I took my little girl for the first time today. It was a surprise and she was more then happy. The smell when I walked in made me feel like a little girl again. She got a waffle cone with blue moon ice cream. I stood in there to long and had to get a Carmel Apple. The staff was so friendly and even sliced the apple. We really enjoyed it and will be back soon.

I didnt go to kilwins, I went to The Simple Greek. It is worth the wait, I have eaten there 6 times and they have only been opened a week. I get something different everyone I eat there, everything is delicious! I LOVE IT!

Fresh, in store made candies. The caramel dipped, pecan rolled Granny Smith apples are mmm good. The pralines are my wifes favorite but the peanut brittle is mine. Really makes you feel like a kid in a candy store!! Matthew has a passion for this and it shows in his employees and his stores products.

Interesting place for downtown columbus, but hey it stays busy so I guess it was needed. Service was good and employees were friendly. $8 bucks for a milkshake is a tad high, but I guess you are at a niche place and location for those prices.

The ice cream is great. Free fudge samples. I sat outside and watched the staff members make waffle cones and cut the fudge slices. It was pricey ($10 on one waffle cone and a waffle bowl), but I would go again.

There is much more than just ice cream- lots of unique flavors, shakes & sundaes, homemade candies too .The staff was very friendly let us taste many samples before choosing our selections. Best ice cream hands down.

Candy store is a great place that l decided to use for my sons birthday. The kids who attended loved the taste of it.

My husband and I stopped in for icecream and it was delicious. We also got some candy from the candy counter and that was also really good. Both employees were helpful and the storefront was clean and looked nice. It was a little on the spendy side, but most candy places are. Happy to have realized that Kilwins was there because normally we dont walk down that far on Broadway.

I love love love their ice cream. I however did not like the chocolate covered caramel. Ive never had chocolate and caramel that was so bland
