10 stars for the service, very welcoming, knowledgeable and easy to talk to.Was here as part of our Columbus coffee tour.I tried the charcoal lavender honey latte.It was chalky and very different from the lavender drinks I tried earlier. I liked it.They also do have chocolate bars made with all natural stuff.Will come back for the chocolates soon.

I ordered a gift bag from their website and just got it in the mail today! Everything was awesome! My favorites were the chocolate dipped marshmallows. So great! Really cute and thoughtful packaging too. I will for sure be ordering from them again.

Mmelo is a little shop near the convention center and market that you should be visiting. Theres a garage next door so parking is a breeze. Its a small shop but there are a few tables and seats at the window.Mmelo makes delicious chocolates - Im particularly fond of the earl grey tea cakes - and coffee. Try the honey lavender charcoal latte, which is just perfect (but maybe have some water to rinse your mouth if you drink the charcoal at the bottom). There are chocolate bars and marshmallows too, but I havent tried them because I cant get away from the tea cakes and buttons. Join the rewards program to earn free treats!

It is always a delight to visit MMELO when I visit downtown and the North Market area. They are very friendly and I love hearing about the latest chocolates they created.

A fantastic shop. I was doing some last second sightseeing before heading home. Had to stop by the market since it had been recommended by so many people. I was looking for a candy shop, and oh did I find one.This place uses all natural ingredients. Yes theyre a bit more expensive than your typical chocolate, but youre paying for the ingredients and PHENOMENAL service. Paul, the owner, went above and beyond. Im a very easy customer. I dont need anything too crazy. He insisted that he had to make everything perfect. First little box for a chocolate broke while closing it, have to have a new one. Waited for some time while the customer ahead of me made decisions. Have a complimentary chocolate.The atmosphere is great, and Im really bummed that after spending a week in Columbus for work that I didnt find this shop until a few hours before I had to leave.

Id walked by this place a couple of days in a row, looking longingly at the treats in the window, and finally stopped in today. And I am SO glad I did. The atmosphere was modern, warm and inviting. The owner clearly has a passion for his craft and made picking out the perfect treats so much fun. Places like this are a rare gem. If youre nearby, definitely make a stop. You taste buds will thank you!

I highly recommend stopping here before hitting the North Market or coming across the lot for dessert! They have amazing, delicious, creative (think rosemary dark chocolate with chanterelles for example), all natural, chocolate treats with many vegan chocolate options available. The family owned (say hi to Paul and his wife) tea, coffee and treats shop has awesome unusual options for tea such as Butterfly Pea (popular in Thailand) and the regular favorites too. The employees are great people happy to chat or let you be; together they make these amazing items available at the store along the south side of the North Market parking lot (I could throw a rock and hit the market from their location in what formerly was a bar but is now a much more scrumptious space with comfortable seating) and at various hotels and other markets around the area. (City was giving them trouble for creating signage, so take a look at the photo to find them - its worth it for sure!)

The cutest and loveliest little coffee place right across from North Market. It has beautiful little chocolates and the gentleman who helped us was absolutely wonderful. The chocolate was delicious too and Ill definitely visit here again. (Sorry I already ate some of the chocolate in the photo)

Stopped by for some caffeine after lunch at North Market and was not disappointed! My latte was excellent and it was nice to step into such a calming atmosphere for a few minutes. I didn’t need any sweets this trip, but if I lived in town I’m pretty sure this would become my go-to shop for treats and gifts. Looking forward to coming back next time I’m in town!

Stopped for the Columbus coffee trail and have honestly walked by here a few times without even noticing it. Im upset I never stopped in before because the tea/coffee (latte) we got were both great. The gentleman helping us was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was light and welcoming. I will certainly be stopping in when I am downtown and need something to drink. The marshmallow snacks were something fun to snack on as well.

I just stumbled across this magical place right by North Market. Its truly amazing! The owner is so friendly and informative. The tea cakes are so beautiful, you dont want to eat them - but they taste better than they look! I also got a charcoal honey & lavender latte that was quite amazing. This might be my new favorite in Columbus. Go try them out!!!

One of the best lattes made is their Honey, Lavender Charcoal Latte. If you are up for something different, then buy this latte. The handmade chocolates are a “party in the mouth” so give them a try you will not be disappointed. They do a great job of pulling a pretty good espresso. So, you cannot go wrong in giving this place a try. Great family owned business!

Amazing candy and coffee shop! Owner was super friendly. Mocha was out of this world. He offered us some samples while we browsed. I wish this wasnt so far from home that we could slowly try everything. Im not normally into marshmallows and theirs were incredible!

Cameron is very good looking... and makes a great cup of coffee. Thats just a great combination in life. But seriously, fun atmosphere and I loved my charcoal honey lavender latte and might be slightly bummed I do not live in Columbus to have this be my coffee spot.But really, swipe right on Cameron.

Great drinks! I had a cappuccino and my son had an interesting hot chocolate with pink peppercorns. We also sampled a couple of the marshmallows that were pretty phenomenal. Will definitely go back when in the area.

This place is amazing. I wish more people knew about it, because its a little hidden and Ive always been the only customer when Ive walked in (though to be fair, Ive only arrived towards closing hours). Every time Ive walked in here, theres always been a different person behind the counter. And every time, that person has also been amazingly helpful and friendly. So I dont understand any one in this review section who may have commented that they ever had a less-than-amazing customer experience. I dont get a chance to come to MMELO often, but each time I come, there always seems to be a new treat available. Recently, I bought a jar of some chocolate jam because it sounded interesting. But I really wish I had stocked up on many jars because that stuff was amazing! Everything Ive ever had from here isnt just, this is pretty good. Its, OMG, this is EFFING AMAZING and I cant believe a place like this exists in Columbus! Plus all their confections are super beautiful.

The chocolates are delicious. The owner is very nice and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about food allergies and have gluten, dairy, and soy free options. The confectioner trained in Spain and I think you can tell in the high quality of the chocolate.

Best coffee in Columbus! LOVE their white chocolate, raspberry, mocha coffee. Im spoiled now and cant wait to get over there every day. Also Paul is always interesting to talk to! Fascinating stories.

The tea cakes are the most beautiful pieces of art and taste amazing. I often get them for gifts and people always rave over them. The shop is cute and have many different treats!

Been there many times when I fly into town.Best chocolate in the USA with chocolate at the ferry building in San Francisco coming close.Tea cakes are amazing especially the passion fruit ones. Cinnamon marshmallows are great and I hate traditional marshmallows even as a kid.As for the price, you get what you pay for. If only they did a tea cake with blackberry ginger balsamic.😜

I stopped in yesterday to grab a chai late for my wife, and was told it would be a minute since everything gets made from scratch. I said no problem, I dont mind the wait. I then glanced at the hours of operation on the window and noticed it was past closing time! I never would have known, as Paul got to work with a smile on his face. This was CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS FINEST! With time to kill I began to admire the beautiful store and confections. I bought a couple treats, which were fantastic, and Paul was a pleasure to chat with.As a small business owner myself, it was easy to notice all the hard work they put into the shop (absolutely stunning), and the great service was just the icing on top. Looking forward to my next visit (during business hours this time, I promise). Quality quality quality, cant say it enough!!!

As much as I love this place, the gentleman behind the counter just had the most bizarre attitude. He wasn’t mean but he just had way too much sass for us. Also, lots of ingredients weren’t available that day since everything is made from scratch, but it would be appreciated to show that on the menu. And they were low on ice! Maybe it was just a bad day. The coffee and chocolates that we had were good though.

All around delicious - staff was sweet and helpful, treats were both tasty and beautiful! Will definitely be back!

This place literally doesn’t even exist. Drove around forever looking for it. There’s no building, no store front, the employees at smoothie king (nearest shop) had never even heard of it. Not sure why it exists on google maps and says it’s open.

The shop itself is gorgeous, the chocolates absolutely lovely (I got a chipotle tea cake. It was seriously amazing), and the owner was helpful and very pleasant. Im glad I made my way in.

I absolutely adore Mmelo. They offer a fantastic selection of handmade chocolates and marshmelos. While a bit pricey, you pay for the quality, as they are some of the most delicious candies out there, and they are made with all natural ingredients. They constantly cycle through their stock, bringing in new seasonal flavors. Beyond that, their tea and coffee selection is fantastic. Im a tea drinker, and Ive got to say, they have some of the best tea in Columbus. I could go on and on about them, but I dont have another 10-12 hours to write a review. Ill close with this. The products are fantastic and well worth the money, but the staff? The staff are incredible. Theyre always so friendly and welcoming, eager to engage with the customers. Ive never once gone in and not been greeted by a cheerful hello and a smile.

Was in Columbus for a week and a half on business. This place became my goto for morning coffee. Brought delicious chocolate/ marshmallows back to the family. Good coffee and very warm folks...

Quality is obviously important in a product but the price of their products is over the top. The one star rating is due to the fact that the Lady Owner is rude. If youre looking for gormet chocolates there are plenty of other places just like it in Columbus.

If your into food that looks as good as it tastes then this is definitely a place you need to check out. The service is very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone they even cater to food allergies and have vegan friendly sweets.

After having a pop up shop at Easton for a few months, theyve just opened up on Vine street, by the North Market and Martini. They are still thing to figure out their hours. The owner is from London (oh that accent!) and is very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained the organic all-natural concept to me and went through the menu. I bought a pack of peppermint marshmmelos (cute spelling). He recommended I try them with coffee and hes right, they are great with a cup of joe. The treats taste very sweet and were enjoyable. My only complaint is the pricing. The marshmmelos were about $8, which is a lot for my budget. Most of the treats on the menu were somewhat pricey. I know they use all natural ingredients which will raise the price but I still thought it was a lot to pay. Still, I love their location and am excited to watch them grow.
