Cute place. Big selection of candy and difficult soda. A bit over priced (Ive seen Jones Soda for way cheaper than $2.39 a bottle). Not as old fashioned as I was expecting. Not sure why I was thinking theater they would have more old school candy, harder to find candy, etc. Most of the candy/snacks found here can be found at Walmart/Dollar tree for way less. Fun to walk around and look at, not easy on the wallet.

Love going here. They have all the best and hard to find candy you can think of. Always got the freshest taffee and a wide selection of it. The people are very friendly too.

My girls love this shop! Its so quaint and has so many different kinds of candy and soda. We find something new everytime we come. The staff is always nice and courteous!

Extremely unique with such colorful displays of both domestic and foreign candies and sodas, and the service was very polite and friendly. Prices are also amazing here, with deals for bulk candy purchases or discounts when you buy certain amounts of sodas. Highly impressed and would come again and again.

My girls loved the store. Staff were just as amazing. $15 candy bar burnt my hand and I put it down really quick. Selection was out of this world. No chocolate now & laters :(

Amazing store with a variety of interesting soda flavors, some being crazy one you never would think of trying and some being some classics from the past/present. The selection of taffy is enormous (have some for all kinds of people). And lastly the candy that is in stock makes people relive their childhood as well as give people something new to try that you can not find anywhere else. Great costumer service and overall vibe. I personally can not wait to go back to Rocket Fizz!!!

This store is utterly amazing! Rocket Fizz has excellent candy options and the sodas are so cool! Don’t even get me started on the stellar customer service. I’d get married in this store if I could.

Has a nice collection of candy but everyone knows customer service, the employees are the ones who can make your experience pleasant or not. Visited with my mom on a Saturday, young blond Caucasian girl didn’t greet or acknowledge us even when we were looking at candy right in front of the register. Not even a minute after we entered, this other Caucasian family of 5 came in, the blond girl spoke to them and told them if they need any help to ask. At this point my mom and I left. Your employee needs to be confronted/reprimanded for such actions because this can hurt your business. Apparently I’m not the only black person who experienced this either. I’ll be sharing my experience with others in my circle just to see how many more experienced such treatment.

Best candy shop in the world! They have an immaculate staff- shout out to the red head for being the smartest, kindest, and most helpful person i’ve ever dealt with in any store. overall this place is a 1000/10 & brings happiness to all customers

Its a good candy place with good service. They have all kinds of random sweets and even more random flavored drinks. The only thing I didnt agree with was the prices, but who ever agrees about that 😁

Nice, old fashioned candy place with a HUGE selection, much like the candy stores one sees in old movies and TV shows (Willy Wonka, anyone?). The candy is well priced, much of it from smaller or less well known brands. I like the option of filling up one size bag from any number of bins and then paying one price for everything in the bag. Particularly good for kids-allow them to pick out as much candy as possible and stuff into the bag as a birthday treat.

Great place. Kids love going there. Prices can be a bit much on some novelty items.

I came in today to buy a chocolate bar. I settled on a Ritter sport with almonds. Besides paying $7 for a $3 chocolate bar, when I took it out to eat it at home it was expired per the label and tasted old too. Guess I should have checked before purchasing. I wont make that mistake again because I will not be going back. So disappointed. (Thank you for your willingness to make it better. I updated my review.)

Really nice store with an open setup which makes it nice to browse without feeling claustrophobic. Helpful and pleasant staff, but pricing is through the roof...almost 8 dollars for one chocolate bar

I cant believe a store like this still exists, and more importantly they stay open late. They have all of the old candy and gag toys from the 1950s thru early 90s. Walked in on a Friday night around 8 pm and it was packed with customers

Fun stop for nostalgic candies & sodas. While I did not see any in the refrigerator case, they dohave sugar free sodas, flavored mineral waters and some sugar free candies.

Rocket Fizz is an amazing place to go for not only nostalgia but also for a fun loving atmosphere. The employees are incredibly helpful and friendly.As you walk inside, youre hit with a wave of cool air and the odor of sweet treats located in the open trays on the left. These comprise candies you use to fill sweet mixed bags. Dont know what something is? Taste test it!! Its allowed, dont worry. On your right is everything from gummy candies, to crazy sodas, and heaven forbid if youre a sign fanatic! The tongue in cheek humor abounds with these wonderful signs all over the upper parts of the walls. These are all for sale too!The shelves in the center of this elongated space have some very cool themes. Theres a shelf for Asian treats (come all you Ramune lovers), a European candy stop, and some niche type candy like giant gummies and the crazy cat lady, Lol!My personal favorites are the candy cigarettes (oh my that takes me back!) And all the super fun sodas! Bring the family, its fun for all ages.

Cute as a button little candy shop. I went in and it took me back to my hopscotch days. They had so much to look at, and everything was worth buying. I found candy I havent seen in years, and they have over a thousand sodas to buy. The candy and sodas are a little pricey, but so worth it. The cashier was so sweet and knowledgeable, thanks ladies.

They dont have old candy there from 50s and 60s,squirrels nuts, chunkys, sno-caps ETc

When you walk in the door you are transported back to your childhood. They carry every candy, drink, and sign from your youth. The prices are high on some items and the candy is sold by the bag. The cost is around $8 for the small bag and around $12 for the large. Make sure that you fill the bag to get the best bang for your buck!

This place is very nostalgic!!! I found so many candies and drinks that I grew up with. If youre ever in Columbus, GA you have to visit. You will go candy crazy!

Such a childhood memory place for me. It has everything you can imagine including international. My kids really enjoyed to themselves and we will be back soon!

An awesome place! Tons of candy and a few I havent seen since a I was a kid in Germany!! Went while in Columbus for my birthday and found the perfect soda bottle for my rooster collection!

Worth the trip, large variety of candy and soda.

Staff were extremely friendly and I love their creativity for the mystery bags! I would highly recommend coming here for retro candy, decor, and their fantastic variety of sodas.

I love this store. Definitely overpriced. I hope they are able to stay in business. Honestly wont return often unless the prices change to something more reasonable. Same things can be found in nearby locations for much cheaper.

A bit too expensive for my taste but did notice some hard to find candies and drinks. They had Jones sodas which will make my daughter happy when she comes to visit.😁

Awesome and fun store right in the heart of Columbus. Hundreds of interesting soda flavors from banana to pickle! Hard to find candies from my childhood as well as new, trendy snacks. Spent an hour in the store just looking around!

This is such a fabulous store that I have never experienced anywhere before. Retro treats? They got it. Theme party? Plenty of accommodating drinks and snacks. Very high variety of treats and candy combined with a very aesthetically pleasing layout.

Amazing selection of candy, some we never have seen. I wanted to buy a collection of the signs. Last is the soda collection. Throw back bottles of the major bands and plenty of other flavors. I didnt notice until I got home the one we got is from my home area

It was very fun. While some of the items were overpriced a bit, to have such a huge assortment in one place was awesome. Loved the novelty toys and signs, too. Definitely had a blast picking a six pack of crazy obscure sodas. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely LOVE this place! It’s always fun and bright and exciting feeling! Always something new to see and try. The staff is always over the top friendly and helpful! So glad they are here in Columbus! They are a little on the pricey side but hey, it’s a small business. I don’t mind paying a bit more to support a local business and the level of customer service is so worth it!

This place is awesome. Isnt stuff for diabetics. You just have to go visit and read signs in the walls and notice all the different sodas and Pops they have. this isnt a seat lovers Paradise. Please go check them out. Open 7 days a week. I love it

This place is super cute! My daughter and I dropped in today to buy some candy and a soda and we will definitely go back. There was a good variety and some of the sodas would make really funny gifts-- kitty piddle, anyone? The person working was very nice which made the visit even better.

This store is awesome. The selection of craft sodas is fantastic, and the selection of candy is unreal. Nostalgic candy, at that. They carry brands and types of sweets that I havent seen in years. They also carry sweets from other countries. I think my husband and I were more excited than our kids. Very cool niche store!

This is my first time going in there today and I fell in love with the place. They had exactly what I was looking for and also they have all of the candy back from when I was a little girl.😍😍😍😍.

They have some great gifts, candies, and a whole bunch of cool drinks and sodas. Plus its tucked away down town so its a great place to walk to after eating out.

Located in downtown Columbus near the river walk. Smaller location compared to some of the other sister stores but still maintained the usual stock. I always visit to purchase a specialty soda that no one but the maker sells directly out of its origin state. Helpful staff and quick cashier, would recommend for anyone looking for hard to find candy or different soda/pop.

If youre feeling nostalgic and want a favorite candy or treat from your childhood, then this place is a must visit!! And talk about the craziest selection of soda ever known to man, and then some, it is one of the best places of this type Ive ever seen!

I would usually put a better score but since they decided to close on Halloween right in our face 😂 I decided to write a review. My child was in costume and everything to happy to go to the candy store only to have the store closed right then. It wasnt even 5pm. You would the busiest day of the year for candy

Its freaking amazing in this store. I love the wide selection of candy and the different flavored sodas. It is awesome. I bring my wife and little one in here at least once every 2 weeks.

Super cool staff and super good sodas! I always stop here when I hang out Downtown. Whenever I take my friends out we get the 4 pack and they always make sure you have a punch card so you can get that sweet discount!

I must admit I had never heard of Rocket Fizz. I was instantly a fan once I walked in. So interesting a concept from start to finish and so much fun inside. I had fun just looking at everything they had. My daughter wants to get a drink a week until we have tried everything and I don’t think we ever would get finished.

Its never good enough for me, as they did not have Giant Chewy Nerds Sours. But, I am starting to think i created and ate them in a dream as no one has them.Oh, the candy shop is pretty awesome with a fantastic selection of sodas. I can say i have been to a decent amount of candy shops, this one is above average with respect to selction and staff definitely plays a part of this rating.

They wouldnt use my gift certificates at first. The Only reason is it doesnt have initials on it and was purchased out of state. I contacted the store manager and she was willing to give me a store credit for the Columbus location. I went back the following week and staff was curtiousus and apologetic and my kids were able to use the new gift cards.

What a cute and amazing addition to the Uptown area! Lots of soda and lots and lots of candy. This is definitely a unique and amazing store to visit...the prices are a little high but you have to offset the cost of acquiring so many varieties of candy. Very clean store, too. Great organization.
