Very nice market with so many merchants ranging from fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese, seasonings, seafood, flowers, nuts, desserts, and so many food vendors. Its very similar to other large city markets such as Faneuil Hall in Boston or Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia. It was fun and interesting just walking around the market and seeing all the vendors in action. All of the merchants are downstairs and theres a large eating area upstairs that overlooks the market. No matter what youre in the mood for or type of food you prefer, theres going to be something there for you to enjoy.

If you want to buy higher priced and possibly unusual foods and seasonings, come on in and visit a spell. Its a great place for people watching.Masking is currently optional and social distancing is non-existent, so if you havent taken the necessary steps to be vaccinated, you should probably stay away. I love the North Market. This place is wonderful and growing in popularity. The selection of foods, drinks, and sweat treats is endless. Great place to grab a meal or pickup some fresh fish or steaks to prepare for dinner. If you’ve never tried Jenny’s ice cream it’s a must! Great local business made from all local ingredients. Most of the vendors have a samples out for people to try. It’s always a pleasant atmosphere with people talking and having a good time. There is a parking lot located in the rear of the building closest to High street. You can park there and it’s free as long as you get your ticket validated by a vendor. This lot can fill up during peak periods. There is metered parking located along the west and north sides of the building. Plus additional parking in the parking garage to the south of the building. My only reel complaint about North Market is the lack of seating during busy times. Hot Chicken take over (on the second floor) has a decent amount of picnic style tables. However around lunchtime during the work week and on the weekends there are usually no available tables. There are a few tables located outside at the front and rear of the market but they also fill up and are not really an option during the winter months.

First off parking, they have a parking lot that a pay rate per two hours however, you can get validation from whichever place you choose to dine inside and receive a free hour of parking so that was awesome! They have a cute picnic bench style seating area outside to enjoy your food and/or drinks when the weather is nice. The weather was around 85 so we made sure to take advantage! Now as soon as I walked inside, it’s legitimately a food hall with anything you can choose from: seafood, Thai, American, Baked Goods, Wine/Spirits and so much more. I opted for some seafood and to partake at one of the beers on tap. The salmon burger from The Fish Guys was fresh and the homemade sauce made it that more delicious. For a burger with chips and drink, it was roughly $10! I headed over to the Barrel and Bottle where I was greeted happily by Princess. I was able to sample one of the beers and for a nice size glass it was $6. I was thoroughly pleased with all purchases and just the environment and will come back if I’m ever in Columbus!
