Bought milk and gnocchi there (among other things). Came home to realize that both were expired. The milk was 2 weeks expired and the gnocchi was expired by a year and a half. I have been frantically checking everything else. Didnt realize I had to check expiration dates so closely at this place. I certainly wont be returning.

Love the Hills Mkt. Sat on the patio and enjoyed some wine from their fabulous selection.Just wish some of the families that sit out there too could be respectful of those around them. Bunch of kids ran around constantly screaming and the 6 adults there did NOTHING to correct their behavior. Was really pleasant until they all showed up.Come on parents- please be parents.

Hills is a Worthington area icon. I love groceries / markets who have excellent products and carry some things you cant find elsewhere. Their wine selection and their beer selection is very significant - and is well chosen. And they also have fun neighborhood events at their bar / patio.

Just moved to the area. Decided to check it out. Not disappointed at all. The selection, variety and atmosphere is amazing. Biggest in person wine and alcohol collection Ive ever seen. They almost have everything you can think of.

My personal favorite is the sun shake (banana/mango/strawberry) but Ive tried a bunch, and the smoothies here are all great. Its clear they use fresh fruit and theyve nailed the perfect balance of ingredients. its unbelievably good for the value and I highly recommend!

I’m no sandwich expert but the deli at this location makes some of the best subs and sammies I’ve ever had. I don’t expect every person doing their job to treat me like daddy Warbucks, they’re friendly enough in my opinion.

This locally-owned store always has what Im looking for! Some great locally sourced cheeses and produce, options for vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary needs, all sorts of health and beauty products, and generally anything you could need! Im constantly amazed how they fit so many options into their space.Employees are helpful and knowledgeable, and the management takes your health seriously. I will certainly be returning.

Ive been frequenting this veggie stand for some of their oriental and ethnic dry goods, as well as their lemongrass, and organic mushrooms. Going food shopping during covid has been a hot mess, and this place saved me from making trips into the city. Like the dry noodles, their frozen food section, and of course they cant be beat for their fruit and veggie selection. Love these guys and thanks for staying open.

Ive lived here for 20 years and theyre a great place for small grocery trips plus they have very good prepared food in the back, but things tend to be a bit expensive so keep the trips small. Staff are always nice and happy to help. Overall, I highly recommend!

In the past I have enjoyed my visits to this store. The last time, I encountered one customer and two employees not wearing masks. I honestly dont care if they have medical reasons or have already been infected, management has an obligation to protect its employees and customers, and an uneven application of the rules makes that difficult. As a customer, I dont want to have to wonder if there is a legitimate reason on a case by case basis. Clean up your act, Hills Market.

Ever since the Andersons closed years back Ive been looking for a store in Ohio for wine. The Hills Market was able to provide that need.

I really wanted to like this place as I try to sorry small businesses, but I cant get past how rude some of the employees are. I went to the deli section and asked for some lunch meat and the worker was insanely rude to me! If you want to have a successful business, make sure you have customer friendly employees. Will NOT be going back.

Great selection of spirits and food! The deli selection is wonderful and the staff here are friendly and willing to help you if needed. The only reason for the four stars is because their prices on grocery items are a little high; however, they are a smaller market, so it is understandable.

The chef is amazing. Filled a large order without a blink. The store itself has those hard to find items as well as the necessities. We love stoping here. The food bar is also quite good!

Absolutely LOVE this store. The best selection of Hard Liquor around period. They have interesting and niche products and really quality meat and seafood. Insane Price gouging on basics like milk, bread, and eggs for years. I love small businesses, but this place is totally a stop and rob- spent like $45 and hardly got anything.

Great variety of specialty items in many departments! Not sure what the problem was but it was unusually dark in the store, enough so that I needed to open refrigerated compartments to see contents. I found several unusual dark beers that were amazing along with fresh yellow miso that I have been unable to find elsewhere! Ill tolerate the dark store for the special finds available there!

My wife and I are poor city dwellers (literally AND figuratively), so our income doesnt really afford us the chance to shop at upscale markets all that often. We just happened to be in the area on our way to do something else, and stopped by this place on the way home. Its fantastic!Its small, but packed to the gills with some good stuff. Of course, quite a bit of it is way more expensive than what youll find in supermarkets, but a lot of it is also sourced and made right here in Ohio. I was shocked to see a great liquor selection (complete with the rare Creme de Violette), along with tons of beers and wines. Even a little movie rental place! They have pizzas made in-house for just $10 ($7.99 on Wednesdays) and they are fantastic...light crust and tasty, fresh toppings.In doing extra research, I was amazed to find that they also do a ton of weekly events that are affordable for any budget, like brat and beer nights, where their own brats are $3 each, or burger nights, where their own beef burgers are $6. The veranda, where many of these events take place, looks cozy and inviting. And best of all, it doesnt feel pretentious or snobby. Its out of the way for us, but well make the trip every once in a while. A great community spot to just hang out and enjoy some great food!

Here goes a story. Obviously from a customer that cared about the business.So, I have to say that I have only gone to the Hills for wine tasting after a friend invited me and Ive in turn invited some other friends as well, but over time the experience just keeps on getting worse and worse.From the outside:It seems that the whole area has been on decay for some time and now they are trying to renew it, and that entails tearing down some adjacent buildings that have forced the construction company(ies) to fence off large sections of parking.The reduced parking is the latest blunder to negatively impact the experience here when you have to go part at the back of the store closer to the trash and garbage cans in order and somehow preventing yourself from feeling like you are part of the help and come in through the front door.Now, when you go inside:Im not expecting to have lobster or steak to have as pairings for the wine offerings, but they used to have decent and non-presumptuous loaded potatoes, salads and crackers with different toppings.The business has either not been doing well or they have become greedy since as of late the side pairings have been quite unfitting of wine tasting, and have been using brought in pizza (if they ever had pizza before, they used to make fresh at the store) now just brought in from somewhere else and you see them take out in boxes just to be kept warm on floodlight heaters. In a more recent outing they just had bagged potato chips with some rice. Which hardly makes sense.On the same token, I dont expect the wine to be dispensed by a literature major in a full suit. I do, however, expect them to dress somewhat professionally, and not wearing a baseball cap with a denim vest with frayed sleeves.They had a taco truck just outside so I dont know if they have started to partner with vendors to squeeze out a bit more money than just what used to be covered by the wine tasting cost.Now my final point, which is the restrooms: They are there more for the people that work there than they are for the customers. They cant satisfy the needs of a business with high volume and the customers can find boxes and other items on the way to the restrooms which may give customers the wrong impression of an organized or clean place. It could bring the cleanliness of the food into question.

Its a small local grocery store with good lunch options. It is pricy depending on what you get. They have good $5 footlong subs that you can get with a nice outside dining area. They have a loyalty program where when you buy 5 subs you get your sixth one free.

Their 10 for 10 wine tasting is amazing. I highly recommend it!

I have been this place but long before it was The Hills Market it was a other name! I always thought the place was a spinn off of Whole Foods but smaller! The place is a tat HIGH in price. But overall, It a delight to have a market across of Worthington Hills! Pitty shame they sure did not make one in the Brookside location! At the time, We used to have a TINY Doran Market on 161 West Grandvile Rd across used to be the Volvo Dealership! Those was the great of times of the 1980s thought 2003! Cam back in summer of 2005 major changes and later 2007 when my dad pass and my mom sold the house moved to FL and I was living in Mill Valley Marin CA (North of SF CA) and later moved to FL with my mom! I wish The Hills Market do well over the years!
