This dealership almost got my entire family either seriously hurt or something worse!!! I brought my wifes car (which she drives the kids in every day) in for a service appointment (oil change, rotation, and bad noise coming from the engine) on Monday the 25th of October. I told them my issues and then waited in the lobby for answers. They told me my car was done but they didnt have time to get to the main complaint of the bad noise from the engine because the mechanics were too busy. I asked if it was safe to drive and this was her response if there is no check engine light on, then its fine. Let me say this, the noise is loud and it sounds terrible, the mechanic changing the oil should have said something and/or noticed it regardless. Ford Columbus service scheduled me another appt for over a week away, which I pretty much had to beg for. Although this made me extremely uncomfortable, I still moved on. A couple of days have passed and the noise was getting more aggressive. I called Ford Columbus again and it was portrayed to me that they just didnt care. So at this point, I called Opelika Ford on Thursday (Oct 28) evening around 1730 and they made me an appt for Friday (Oct 29) at 0800. So today I brought in my wifes car, told them what was going on (without mentioning anything about Columbus Ford), and waited. The service lady came to me a short while later and she brought extremely bad news. She said that she was absolutely amazed that this car made it this far, it is not safely drivable. Something is broken inside the engine and is rattling around causing catastrophic damage. This cars engine could have blown at any moment and Columbus Ford didnt give a sh*t. How the hell can this be? This could have caused my wife to crash, lose control of the car, freaking anything could have happened, and Columbus Ford just let me drive off with no care for my family on Monday. I have a video I took of the engine and the noise it was making, why Ford? Why? Opelika Ford now has my car because it is not safe to drive. The lady at the Opelika said once she started my car to move it into the shop she was scared to drive it. This car is a 2018 Fusion with 32k miles on it. I AM BEYOND ANGRY, TOOK ME DAYS TO WRITE THIS
So, this is not the kind of service center Ive been to before. Everyone here is especially friendly, kind hearted and helpful. Ive been here and worked with Kenny a few times and Crystal. Both of these amazing people were wonderful throughout the experience and because of them and their professionalism I feel confident going back in the future.
As I have spoken with the new management because something has changed in the Ford department. Fuel injection cleaning and tire rotation took 4 hours. I have the maintenance package and I feel Im not getting what Ipaid forthwith is quality service.
I received fast and excellent service.
My job has rather unpredictable hours and for me to plan or schedule ahead is quite difficult. However, I was able to find a window of opportunity and I scheduled an oil change. I clearly stated to the guy on the phone I needed it to be wait at the service center and not a drop off. The phone operator assured me the oil change would take an hour. I got to the Ford Service Center and began the intake as usual but only to find out that my appointment was not booked as promised. It would be a 5 hour wait at a minimum. I dont have the time for this monkey business.
Was told by an associate at service center that I would be called back with price for repairs on my auto but never received any response...
Best priced tires in town!
The only thing that made this experience ok was Kelly. She was super nice and dealt with all my questions and calls super professional. I personally dont have a ford nor would I want one but thank you Kelly for making it a bit easier for me.
Took a week to diagnose our issue. After another week, still no car. Charged too much. Todds Auto Clinic could have repaired faster and cheaper
Great service.
