I would give zero stars if I could. No one at this store wants to do their job. Their poor communication between the local store and the nation wide customer service reps have been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I moved across the country and this company DID NOT make it an easy transition. I have spent several hours on the phone over the last 36 hours trying to get them to release my U-boxes when this all could have been avoided if they had simply told us the card wasn’t going through the first time they charged it BACK ON AUGUST 7th. Yes. 10 DAYS AGO. This could have been resolved then with simple communication. If I hadn’t called to check delivery time for the boxes I would have never been made aware there was a problem. Even after making payment with customer service over the phone yesterday and being told by two customer service reps that they would attempt to make my order a priority in the morning (8/17), they STILL REFUSED TO DROP OFF MY BOXES stating payment hadn’t gone through. I begged them to take my receipt/bank statements as a confirmation but they refused. After incessant calling and badgering they finally confirmed that they saw payment and dropped the boxes off (several hours later, and after the delivery window they gave me). No one at their store has made any attempt to apologize and their regional manager is conveniently unavailable, has a full voicemail, and is “in meetings” for several days. They have done the absolute least to try and help me sort this out. I had to spend an extra $150 on a hotel (considering my beds were in the pods), my father flew out from Washington and leaves tomorrow and can’t help with the rest of the move in, and I start graduate school in a day. This has majorly screwed over my life. If you’d like to spend several thousand dollars on a moving option that is far from stress free and includes employees that refuse to do their jobs, and will screw you over and then blame you for it, look no further! Zero stars. DO BETTER.

I used U-Boxs to temporially store items and in a move. I had a 2-3 window where I was staying with family. I had left my old home and was waiting to close on another home. The U-Box worked perfectly! The people at Sparkleberry were great! I did have a few issues with U-Haul 1-800 but never had an issue with those at Sparkleberry. They were wonderful, THANKS!!

The poor worker had no help and was doing a fantastic job with numerous people in the store. She definitely deserves a raise.

They cancel mine reservation and then charged my credit card and when I went up there found out they put my card on another person contact. Told me that was a mistake and nothing they could do and the general manager was very unpleasant, rude, and professional!! The employee was playing and talking about their personal life in front of guest and playing. I would not use this location at all. They seem to mess up alot I see...

Had a very difficult time doing the mobile return mobile return you have to be close to the building for it can work where I parked my vehicle it was too far and had to go back-and-forth tool The building to connect to the service for I can load the trucking in

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I had a reservation for a 10’ truck at 1:00 PM, got there and it wasn’t available. I was told to call the 1-800 number to get it transferred. I asked about the $50 reservation guarantee and I was told to speak to the manager. I spoke to the manager the next day and he told he would not give it to me because a truck was ready at 1:30 and I came back to get it. I said online it says if it isn’t available at that time I get $50. He said if I call customer service and they send it to him, he will just deny it. I asked him, you don’t think that’s wrong? He said no.

Excellent service but it does t as key time to add trailer hitch.

What wonderful customer service I received from this location! Everyone was so helpful in assisting me with my needs. Highly recommend!

Huge storage bay area love u-haul but the return the truck situation was difficult didnt know where to put truck return it or even where to find storage bay. Wouldve gave higher rating but didnt know where anything was and couldnt find any help

Slow. Always understaffed. Don’t go if in a hurry. I always check in online and have confirmations and I still have to to wait for them to put my information in, which I did before arriving.

Then when we came in to return a wardrobe box, they refused to take it back without receipt, even though we purchased boxes there in the past week. We scheduled 3 uboxes to be delivered and it took me calling for them to tell me, the day of scheduled delivery, that they couldn’t deliver it that day. We ended up having to fill the uboxes on site just to meet our moving deadline. Each time we went to the location to put more stuff into our uboxes we had to find someone to open the door for us. The front office claims to be completely separate from the ubox warehouse, although it’s all connected, and was of absolutely no help.The only positive was the manager gave us a month of storage free for the inconvenience.

Booked a cargo van, then get a message on the day prior that cargo van isn’t available. Got moved to another location same day and get to the Uhaul location only to be told there isn’t a Uhaul available the day of my move. Deleting my Uhaul account and never using them for my moving services again. Use at your own risk.

I had to chase down my ubox because their system somehow didnt update my number. Then they went into my acct and charged me storage fees. The mgr said they would reverse the fees and then I could call in with delivery payment. But they still went in and charged the delivery fee. All this and I get an email saying I am late on my storage payment.

Really its no stars. Almost got me killed let a female hookup my auto transport straps wrong and no safety chain. I barely avoided a serious tragedy. I mean Sucked. Avoid by all means.

Very good service, I use them at least 2 or 3 times a week and they are always professional and friendly, Marcus and the rest of the staff treat you kind and answers any concern you may Have I will definitely continue to do business with them...

ISSUES ARE STILL NOT RESOLVED AND THROUGH ALL THE PROBLEMS I HAVE I HAVE NOT SEEN OR SPOKEN WITH A MANAGER EVEN THOUGH THEY KEEP TELLING ME THAT THEY ARE LEAVING MESSAGES. IF YOU WANT BE OVERCHARGED FOR A HEAD ACHE THEN THIS IS YOUR PLACE

Nice people there big enough for a big truck

I got 3 U-boxes from these people, and they were supposed to be picked up 4 days before i hit the one-month mark, so that I wouldnt have to pay for another month. Well, story made short, their truck broke down on Thursday and they were unable to pick up the boxes on time. Not only was i inconvenienced by having the boxes block my driveway for an extra weekend, but then they have the nerve to charge me for another months rent. I will not be using them again, and neither should anyone else... And, on top of all that, every time you call with an issue you get transferred 3 or 4 times before you reach someone that is of any help. These people are clueless and lack basic knowledge on running a decent business

So I am coming from California, moving my whole life to South Carolina. The ease and great service that was provided by them, looking out for what is in my best interest. I have to thank these employees Christina, Brittany, and Nyasia for their best service.

Horrific experience. Moving is already stressful, but this place added additional unnecessary stress. When being helped by an employee, he stopped once he couldn’t figure out an issue with the contract. Afterwards, he began helping someone else and left me to figure it out the situation by calling another U-Haul location. They doubled charged for the u-haul tuck and added an extra fee for a utility dolly we didn’t use. When calling to resolve issues, the employee lacked knowledge and wouldn’t even provide a number of someone else in the corporation who could help! I’m so disappointed! I would’ve given this place 0 stars if that were an option.

Got here at 4:30 (they close at 5) to pick up a truck I had rented online and they were already closed.

Reserved a 15ft truck waited in line for 45 minutes just for rthe woman at the counter to give away both 15ft trucks that they had to people without reservations. Needless to say wont be using uhaul again.

Guy showed up to work 10 minutes late, after saying they’d be here at 9am. Literally wasted an hour just waiting in parking lot. Guy gets here and sets off security alarm. I mean, amateur hour at its finest.

I called ahead to make sure this place sold moving supplies. They said they did and confirmed that they had the specific items I was looking for. I went after work to but the items. It was 4:30pm when I got there and the door was locked, the lights were off, and no one was inside. I knocked on the door, waited for a few minutes but no one came. The hours posted on their door said they were open until 5:00pm.I called U-Haul customer service and they confirmed that they should be open and that someone was online at that location. They messaged the person but got no response.
