Denise was so helpful getting me set up with my unit the same day I reserved it. The facility itself is clean, well maintained, and security looks to be excellent. And the location is super convenient for me.

We rented a storage locker for the summer so my daughter didn’t have to bring most of her things home for break. She is moving from the dorms into an apartment. WOW was that the best idea EVER. Moving her stuff to the storage facility was so easy and convenient. Cost is really reasonable and the lockers are really nice. Climate controlled and spacious. Carts available everywhere to assist in transferring her things from our vehicle to the locker. Ended up storing things for two of her roommates also. Do yourselves a favor and rent a locker instead of transporting everything back home each summer! Your back and wife will thank you!!!!

I highly recommend Extra Space Storage on Hampton St in Columbia, SC. I have used them for 3 years to store my daughters items for college. They make it so easy! Every person I have spoken to has been a pleasure to work with and extremely helpful. The place itself to so easy to get to and clean and organized. I wouldnt store my items any place else!

I rented 4 storage units at 401 Hampton Street in June and my items were there only for 2 weeks. Upon moving out, every box in my units on the 4th floor were infested with german roaches. Do not rent here.

This was a great storage rental experience. The process lasted about 20 minutes and I was very impressed with the speed with which I toured the prospective units to the point I set up my monthly auto draft. The facility in clean and well maintained and the staff is very well trained for customer service.

This is my first time ever renting a storage unit. A nice gentleman named Greg assisted me in obtaining a unit that I much needed.Very knowledgeable and friendly is this establishment. I rented here for a several months and everything was outstanding. The facility is very high quality and a pleasure to visit. I never had any issues whatsoever with entry, availability of moving carts, or anything.However, the real reason this is a 5 star establishment is the customer service. Peter and Terry were always so helpful. They knew me by name! I didnt even bother to setup online payments because I enjoyed the pleasure if saying hello to them each month. If you need storage downtown, go to CubeSmart!

The facilities are new and clean and you can reserve their truck anytime you need, which is a HUGE plus if you have sedans like my husband and I. The location is great. We just opened an account with Peter, the Manager, today to get a jump on storage for our son at USC. We are from Maine and after spending some time with him we are confident our sons items will be safely stored over the summer. The facility is sparkling clean, cool, and service was great. It was so impressive I not only asked if they were publicly traded for a stock play, but if they had plans for expansion in the Portland Maine area, as we could use one for our company’s business storage. Great job Peter, it’s always great to meet someone who takes such pride in what they do, and strives to do a great job. It’s hard to find people with that sort of dedication these days.

The rent was lower online than what was said in person. The building is being bought out by a different company so that may be a reason why there was a difference. The units are very nice and big, it’s very easy to access and very clean. Friendly people too.

Went to view property and met with Steven who wasn’t as friendly or helpful as the reviews I read prior to my visit stated. While we walked through the halls to view available rental units, there was a trail of trash and debris from a unit and we had to step over it all to get to the 5x10 storage spaces; Steven blithely stated that they can’t control what people leave behind after hours. Saw a dead bug inside one of the empty units.The facility is not easily accessible as Hampton and surrounding streets are one way. The facility wasn’t very impressive and the prices, which don’t include required insurance, were way more expensive than other places due to being downtown. The special offered was the first month free or reduced monthly charges for longer rental terms.After exploring a few more self-storage facilities, I decided to give my business to Bee Safe Storage. It’s a bit further out, but it’s a brand new facility with great prices and specials, staff, and a keypad access drive-through tunnel for loading.

Alex and Patty were amazing! I have been moved in for about 2 weeks now and they have been more than accommodating. I have two units in this location. This location is VERY clean, temperature controlled and they had space for all my things. I would recommend this location to anyone. It is the nicest storage facility I have ever used. Patty and Alex are truly amazing at customer service. They have checked in with me often since my move in to make sure I am doing well. Store your stuff HERE!!!!!

The service here is great—treat you well and lay out their prices upfront. I had a large storage unit and was able to unpack my moving truck straight into it in only a few hours. If you have a spot on a higher floor you would have to take the elevator. It’s an industrial sized elevator, though, and would fit most all household items.

They were so easy to work with and have helped us to declutter our apartment. I highly recommend if you live right across the street. It was one of the best household decisions we have made this year!

Peter and Patty were just so great and accommodating! Everything was explained so thoroughly and they made moving in easy. Their paper for rental of the moving truck got lost, but Peter emailed me to make sure I still needed it and that it was open on the day of my move in. It was extremely hot and they continuously offered us water. Their kindness never faltered. I highly highly recommend this storage facility!! The best one I have ever used.

I love this place, its beautiful and perfect. Its a new facility and so clean. The staff here is very welcoming and kind. They get you the best prices that will best fit your budget. They are definitely not about just making money. I feel great to know my stuff is stored here and secure.

Mrs Pattys customer service totally blew me away. She went above and beyond to make me and my children feel comfortable and made sure everything was to my standards!!! The best part of my experience was the fact that her behavior was completely natural, not forced at all.

A tremendous round of applause and appreciation for the manager, Patty! She could not have made the process any easier from 650 miles away as I was setting up the unit rental for some college students. Additionally, her very trained eye recognized the unit was improperly locked during rounds and contacted us immediately with an efficient means to correct. Customer service is well done at this location and the property is very clean.
