Absolutely an amazing cake for my beautiful Mother-in-love who turned 60 today. It’s actually a Red velvet cake. The smell of the cake filled the room that our Waitress said “that she’ll take a piece of the cake as her tip”. Thank you for preparing it with love and dedication. I stopped here off of a friends recommendation. Was greeted very warmly and with a smile. Cake sampling was awesome. I really wanted to purchase one of everything! I ended up purchasing and apple crumble cheesecake and a slice of pineapple coconut cake. Cake was very moist and melts in your mouth. I ate the cheesecake later that day after dinner and it did not disappoint. They have definitely gained a new customer in myself and I hope others try it as well because this place really needs to succeed.

Love this bakery. Im not into sweets but the cakes and the cheesecake bars here are absolutely delicious! My favorite is the key lime cake and the raspberry cheesecake bar. When I do have a sweet tooth this is my go to spot!

My visit at the Main Street Bakery was excellent. Got a slice of cake and two cupcakes. Fantastic and Delicious. Cant wait for Billy to get that food truck up and running. I really miss having the macaroni salad with tuna. Havent been there in over 4 years. Next time Im going to try the hot dog combos and probably order two Cakes for my Goddaughter. The banana pudding cake was PHENOMENAL! Ive had several sweets from here and they are ALL beyond my expectations. Cakes are always moist and just the right amount of sweetness!

My family and I stopped in for the first time today and were beyond impressed by the service, food and atmosphere. We were greeted and welcomed so warmly, everyone absolutely loved my daughter. Im a jersey girl so I was raised on really good cheesecake but nothing has ever come close to what we picked up from Main Street Bakery today! Oh my gosh it was SO good. The turtle cheesecake was so light and creamy and the apple pie cheesecake was absolutely decadent. I cant wait to make the trip back to try other sweets!

Their hotdogs are pretty good. Chilli tasted homemade, hotdog bun was very soft and fresh. I did not try the cakes yet, but they looked good!!!

Definitely recommend ordering any custom cake from Main Street Bakery! Employees are super friendly and helpful. We ordered a buttercream carrot cake for our son’s first birthday and also received free vanilla smash cupcakes. Both were totally awesome! We received a lot of compliments and will be going back :)

I tried Main Street Bakery for the first time looking for real butter cream icing and they did not disappoint! The cakes are freshly made and taste delicious and made with real ingredients. Dont leave without a chocolate chip cookie either!A must try!

The only two things that I like from them is the chewies, and the red velvet cupcakes.I’ve tried other cupcakes and they are not all that.Also make sure you check your bag before you leave, will not be going again. $28 gone 12 cupcakes only like 4 red velvet.

For my wifes birthday, my four year old daughter decided the theme should be moms favorite animal. And so with that we were having a squid party. After have a few different places tell me a squid cake would be to difficult, I checked with Main St Bakery. Not only was I told it could be done, but the cake decorator seemed excited to do it. She walked me through cake flavors and helped me to design the perfect cake for the party. After placing my order and setting a pick up date, we had to make a change of plans and I not only needed my cake earlier than planned but needed it picked up on a Saturday. All of which they handed without any problems and the cake was Awesome!!My kids where so excited to pick it up and couldnt wait to surprise mommy when they got it home. And more important than the cake looking great, it was delicious too!If you have a birthday or other themed party take your ideas to Main Street Bakery and let them make you something extraordinary that will have people talking about it for years!

I have ordered from, Main Street Bakery on numerous occasions. They have always done an extraordinary job, however my cake today was beyond words. We ordered a cake for our daughters babyshower. When, I layed eyes on the cake emotional was an understatement. The cake was absolutely stunning and the detail was perfect . The decorator/ decorators brought my vision to life in unimaginable ways. Words of gratitude are not enough to describe the joy in my heart. My daughter was so happy she didnt even want to cut the cake.. I recently used Main St. Bakery for my wedding cake and the entire process went so smoothly! This is a family-owned business, and from the initial tasting, where Miss Rosa sent home cake for my now-husband who couldnt make it, to the top tier that they gave us to freeze, I loved feeling like I was working with a small business that treats every customer like a VIP. Main St. Bakery was able to design and execute a cake that checked all of our (many) boxes, and the price was was so affordable! The cake looked like it costed thousands of dollars (and tasted like it too). It was set up beautifully and they delivered it right on time, making my wedding day free of stress. My mother-in-law even booked them for the rehearsal dinner, and, as a surprise, they made a grooms cake with my dogs face on it. After meeting with many bakeries in Columbia, I am so glad I went with them--as far as I am concerned, they are truly the best bargain, giving you high-quality service without a ridiculous price tag .

Excellent cakes! One of the few bakeries in Columbia who KNOW how to bake a red velvet cake. Prices and portion sizes of the cakes are reasonable. The staff is really nice and efficient in their business operations, even during their busiest hours. In the future, I plan to order a cake for my special events.

They made and donated a birthday cake for my son through Icing Smiles, an organization that provides cakes for kids with life threatening illnesses. The staff was so nice and the cake was creative and yummy. My little cookie was quite happy with it. I recommend them as everything they made was delish.

I ordered the lunch combo which includes your choice of entree I chose chili hot dog and comes with a side i got pasta salad and comes with a cupcake i chose red velvet and a drink is included for 8.80 with tax! Easy to get back into traffic. Parking is behind the building. Now the food - is wonderful! Of course the cakes, cookies, yummy fattening stuff is amazing, but try the chilly dogs next time. They are great too.

This place is great! They catered the cake and pettifords for my wedding. The taste testing was thorough and allowed up to have options both with the flavors and design. Not to mention the best part, the Taste! I would definitely use them in the future

Their service was great,everyone greeted that was at work even the guy that was outside trimming the grass.However the red velvet cake was a bit dry and thats what made it unbearable to eat .I really wanted my cake to look like the ones they had on the display but it wasnt.I am not going to give up on them cause I know they got it going on and maybe they may have had a bad day,but I will return with a lot more buisness .

The most amazingly delicious cake and cupcakes! It was a chocolate vanilla marble and had a hint of lemon zest! Moist and the whole cake got eaten!! That never happens!!!

Taking a reference from my Sister who works for the City of Columbia I purchased a Salad and a slice of Pound Cake. The gentleman who took my order was very pleasant, and the young lady who rang me up at the register was not only beautiful but very Customer Service oriented. I think I will send my Son by to meet her (smile). I pray that they keep the portions like they are because i was very satisfied with everything I purchased. I will be back after Christmas to get another Salad and maybe some German Chocolate Cake.

I went there at 5:27 (I know it is almost closing time BUT you are still open ) I ring the door bell and some bald head chick opens the door and ask how can she help me? Uh..Yes I want to give you a watchtower😑🙄... I want to buy some cake. Were close. But its 5:28. Yea were close. Well how about yall change your sign to we close at 5: 20 something since yall cant stay open until 5:30. I had stop going there one time because I heard from people that there customer service was atrocious. I guess they proved them right. I wont be returning. This is why its hard to support black businesses.

I emailed this bakery at the beginning of the month the needing a cake for the end of the month. They asked for a picture and then I never heard back from them. When I called to inquire the lady didnt even care. She said yeah we got your inquiry and didnt choose to tell you or respond that we cant because we are booked up. You can Google a different bakery, we dont refer our customers to different bakeries. To which I said, I was never a customer since you chose not to follow up. Then her response was if you dont know where to get a cake Google it or go to Publix. *F - YOUR BAKERY AND *Cheers to South Carolinas s***ty customer service*I could only laugh if I get a response on this post from the bakery trying to care saying call us please so we can resolve this. H*LL NO you lost my service permanently.
