We love toasty goat! The “Creamy Cashew Natte” is still so good! The Guatemala drip coffee is potent but not too bitter with nice sweet nodes and earthy base. The Nicaraguan drip is smooth and rich with more fruity palette. The community ambience is great with careful crafting to welcome you into the Toasty Goat home! Come support the community to chill in your space away from home or bring your kids and meet another parent there!
Came here for the first time today. Great atmosphere, very knowledgeable and personable staff. Ordered some beans that were roasted yesterday, very excited to brew them in the morning. The best part was I ordered a V60 and it turned out excellent. I’m always hesitant on ordering a pour over from a new place. I typically am not impressed by most places pour overs because of the lack of attentiveness. If you want to do it correctly a V60 is a singular task that you can’t step away from and multitask with. That’s why it’s such a better cup, it’s labor-intensive. The barista (I wish I would have gotten her name) didn’t try to do a bunch of stuff she focused entirely on MY cup of coffee and I could taste the difference.I’m not one to leave reviews or lengthy ones at that but, as they say in boxing, there are levels to this game. I’ve had a lot of coffee from a lot of shops and these folks are the cream of the crop in a highly competitive and congested market. I hope they take off.
Utterly in love with this coffee shop in my neighborhood! Ive been stalking this building since ground was broken and was delighted to hear a coffee shop was coming!!! I try to come here each morning but often get up too late. Our family has already made memories here!! The stenciled floor, the hanging plants, the exquisite light fixtures, the beautiful hand made tables and the darling childrens play area combine to make it a new place with an old soul. The cookies were amazing, too, and I love drinking coffee out of a smooth black ergonomic mug! The people have been utterly delightful and very kind. This place is already a light in our neighborhood. Grateful for them!
Really really good coffee. Everyone was so incredibly nice. The inside is a whole vibe.I understand it’s new. But they seemed pretty inefficient behind the counter. Lots of changes I would make. I had plenty of time to analyze because after waiting 26 minutes for our coffee I finally asked when we could expect it. They had lost our ticket.Once again pretty apologetic. But after walking around trying to give us 15+ orders. They never realized they had skipped over us. Also after we got our order, kept trying to give us everyone else’s order.
This place is gorgeous! Theres plants and natural wood everywhere, its very relaxing to be there, definitely dine in when possible! Theres no drive through, but a walk in order was easy to make, prices were great, and wait time was excellent. Will be visiting again
Great food! Catered our staff meeting. Chocolate chip cookies were excellent. I know the owners personally and they are the greatest! Highly recommend
Great relaxing atmosphere! Make sure to check the floor tho! It totally keeps people on their feet and also looks really cool adding its own character to the coffee shop!
Delicious new coffee place right around the corner.
I was in town for a few days, and I came here THREE times. So obviously, it must have been good! Its a young coffee shop, but full of potential. Theyre open about the fact theyre experimenting and finding their place, and I loved everything I ordered. I tried their natte drinks, basically latte with coffee instead of espresso, and it really worked well. Homemade syrups they should be proud of. Cant wait to come back to town and see this place grow. Owners are pure joy to talk to and they obviously do it because they love it, and I love THAT. If you love coffee, this is a brilliant place to try, especially for pour overs or Japanese iced coffee (just an iced pour over basically). They also have incredible prices and quality of their own in-house roasted beans. If I was local, Id buy all beans from them! And their logo? Adorable.
Toasty Goat has the BEST freshly roasted coffee beans. The offerings are diverse, interesting, and exude freshness.I am deeply saddened during the interval between when they are used up and the next delivery arrives.
Beautiful place with kind baristas and great coffee! Free wifi and plenty of plugs for electronics
Love the atmosphere, the people and the coffee. Beautiful.
Tremendous coffee and people and such a nice setting
Great vibe ! get a hot chocolate with caramel
Super cute little coffee nook tucked inside the donut shop. Take it to go inside or curbside. Or there are tables, if that suits you. (This is 2020, masks are worn.) Loved seeing their pay-it-forward board where folks have bought each other coffee in thanks, support, and celebration. Good to support a small local business run by lovely people.
Good coffee! Small shop that is clean and spacious, but not lacking in charm. Its a little tucked away, but would be a good space to enjoy a donut and a latte. Worth visiting
If you come you MUST have their Creamy Cashew Natte. Their baristas are constantly testing new ingredients to give you the best coffee in town.
Excellent cup of coffee and a wonderful barista! Find your way there and enjoy a mid-MO treasure!
