It is a clean environment and I used to go there regularly but stopped when I saw people sitting on top of the water outside. This is unsanitary and disgusting to say the least. Also Ive noticed the barriers have come down and neither the staff or customers are wearing masks for the most part anymore. Not a safe environment to be in and I definitely do not feel safe going in there at all.
They have the best gas station coffee in my opinion, but its currently 9:30 p.m. on a Sunday. Why are the doors locked? Smh.

The female manager at this store is extremely rude, she has zero customer service skills. She has a nasty attitude. This store is a negative star.
I have no idea what employee these people are talking about, because Ive actually been met with excellent service from the manager with the dreads. I wonder if the people giving one star for service issues are just bitter people themselves.
I usually go to the one on Charleton Highway the staff is great and its the best one Ive been in so far. The one on Parklane is another story staff is rude and doesnt assist its customers. Lady told me she didnt feel like refilling the drink machine and I should pick something else or buy a drink out the cooler. Then she told the other customer who didnt want the ice cream cause it was 3 dollars if she doesnt want to pay for it put it back in the cooler. I mean who talks to customers that way. I continue to go to the multiple Circle K just not Parklane Rd.
I walk in 3:30 am for a car charger. Sale associate stated that we out. I was bout to leave she stated this would work. Because it works on my iPad. That was a lie. Plug it into my I phone and I pad nothing. That this time have not left parking lot. Brought it back in for a refund. She stated I didn’t know how to do it. But you can take it to any circle K for a refund or exchange. While out drove to circle K on forest drive. Lady call her boss she stated employee probably just didn’t want to do it they can’t refund it back. Have to go to originally store. Wasn’t sure I believe that. So while out went to another circle K to verify. Forest drive employee was correct. So call back to vent to employee about being frustrated. While I was speaking she hung up on me. Call back no answer. Ok maybe she got busy. No big deal. I’ll deal with it when I come back to location for a refund. Call this morning before enter store to verify Elaine Manager was in building. So I can get a refund. Same employee was there. Simply ask her 2 questions when walking in. Have you already spoken with Elaine and did you feel her in. Her answer to a customer was simply sure did, and you need to watch how you speak to someone. What (lady) you are a employee with a brand on your shirt that represents you and the company that’s not how you address and customer or vendor choosing to do business with your location. So instead of saying those things I kept quite because they were customer in the store. The way she spoke to a customer while the manager was around is terrible no wonder why this location was one of the lowest reputation score on yelp and google. So instead of the manager taken responsibility for employee and miscommunication she immediately stood be we don’t do refunds on third shift point blank period. I don’t know how the other stores work. But we don’t. The only reason I ending up buying the charger was because y’all recommended to me. Please fix the broken communication and replace those employees with premium quality associates. Thanks
Circle K on park lane in columbia, SC. Appreciate the gas prices! Noticed on the pump a small red sticker of which claimed it kept your identity safe. Sticker was taped over area of which would unlock to replace receipt paper. I SO appreciate the effort they are trying to make with all of the constant debit card fraud. However, the sticker was sliced in half in a way no one would really notice as the numbers on the sticker still matched up.
Be careful buying gas from here. Their price on the pump differ from the price on the sign. I stopped and got gas from here because their big sign said 2.00. I went in, paid and as soon as I started pumping, it changed to $2.09. When I told the young lady that works there, she asked me if I checked the price on the pump for purchasing and I told her that I didnt. It not my job to check and verify the prices on your pumps.Then she had the nerve to say that they cant change the prices on the big sign which is a lie. I called back and spoke with the supervisor over the shift (young lady with locs), and she tried to tell me that she would have to put in a work order to have it finished because it was out of their control. Definitely a lie.These people are soooo rude and totally unprofessional. Especially the young lady with the locs. She is supposed to be like a supervisor but she lacks the skill set and professionalism for that kind of job.UPDATE: The price was corrected less than 10 mins later which meant that they had control over it unlike what they were trying to tell me.I have since been back the Circle K and the young lady with the locs must remember my face. She spoke to and had a conversation with every customer that entered the store except me. When she checked me out, she was bluntly rude. Again, this shows her skill set and lack of professionalism.
I was a victim of theft on August 23rd and I notified the manager at the store Natasha and she told me that she would help. After a few calls within that day I met with her on two occasions and she told me to my face that she would be at the store so that we could review the Surveillance tape for viewing, I was told to meet her at 8 am Saturday morning and here it is 11:23 am and she has yet to show or answer her phone. I find that very unprofessional and Discouraging as to finding a solution to my situation. Do better circle k
Manager in the morning is beyond rude and confrontational. I have personally witnessed her arguing with vendors who just come to do a job and have to deal with her nasty attitude. Very argumentative and nasty. I don’t see how she can be employed anywhere with an attitude like that. There must not be any consequences or disciplinary action because she continues to act in the same manner. I know it’s hard for the vendors because they can’t say nothing back and if she puts them out that their job on the line when clearly she has the problem.
This shift really missed the mark of service Ive come to expect from my neighborhood Circle K store. (1) Cashier eating while attending the register check the shift tapes this cashier is really not customer service oriented. (2) Didnt offer to check me out, continue to eating. More management oversight needed, review the shift tapes service is falling off.This occurred 10/19/18 @ 8:30pm.Ill continue to shop at Circle K Stores just not Parklane Road.
The day shift manager is very rude. She will yell at customers and make them move there cars so she can park closer to the store.
The last time I was there my Car got back into near a gas pump that they had signs on saying they didnt have gas when in fact they did and later came out and took the bogas signs down.. Those bogas signs maybe the REASON my Car got back into. If they wouldnt had them up in the first place knowing that they had gas my Car mightnot have gotten backed up into. And I wouldnt be laying up Injured as a result of being backed into . I went to the on duty Manager at a later date and asked would they release the Video for that night proving what happened. But was told that they would only release it to the Police.As for the service itself I havent had a problem except 1 cashier a week or two ago . Cashier are usually very friendly.

Its close to work and very convenient. Ive disappointed at times when I tried to get gas when they were doing the nightly audit, and not been able to fill up.
Prices are a bit high but they open 24/7.

Nightshift at this store is terrible. Employees are always talking on the phone or outside smoking. Never have any coffee which is probably due to them being to busy smoking and socializing.
