As far as the actual drinks, employees, etc., the Starbucks is absolutely fine and great. Unfortunately, this location is always extraordinarily busy with a huge line in the drive through. More often than not its just not worth it to wait 30+ minutes sitting in your car. This also makes it difficult to swing by quickly. This is really the only problem here.

Staff are nice, the coffee is always worth the wait, but, yeah, that wait is a killer. I was warned that it would be at least a 20 minute wait, so kudos to being up front about it. Easily the slowest sbux Ive ever been to. I might come back if I were looking for some tumblers but otherwise I go elsewhere.

This Starbucks location actually deserves a zero. Upon visiting this store today, it became my second visit needing to get a refund due to the extreme slowness (40 minutes) of this location. I intentionally ordered via the mobile app 25 minutes in advance to ensure my order would be ready to avoid me being late to my nail appointment next door. However, to my dismay I got there and waited an additional 15 minutes after my 25 minute commute time to still NOT get my drink. This is the second time this has happened at this location. When I inquired about my drink initially the first young lady told me the store had a 20 minute wait, but it had already been exactly 26 minutes since my mobile order. Then after another 10 minutes I proceed to the register for a refund to be told the wait is 30 minutes despite the fact that the app gave me a 15 minute wait time. Nonetheless I have to wait another several minutes for the manager to come to just make excuses. This location needs NEW management/ownership or a revamp of its operations because I am positive it is losing a lot of revenue due to the slowness. Meanwhile there were 9 employees in the store working. After this being the second time I was forced to request a refund I will definitely NO LONGER visit this location.

Gave 3 stars because I normally dont have any issues with this location or Starbucks period. However, this morning I ordered online, came thru drive thru and sat patiently because I always expect a lengthy line but this morning I got parked after waiting in the line since my drink was not made during the 15/20 min in line and then I was brought out a cold macchiato instead of a hot one like I ordered. The lady who dealt with me in drive thru and brought out the drink was an absolute sweetheart. Im only bothered because I then was asked if I would come in to wait for another one in which this process made me late for work. I did order another drink while inside and got it a lot quicker than the other one. And I then got to work and my apple crisp macchiato had no apple crisp flavor. Im so mad and disappointed.

I never leave bad reviews… ever. But this Starbucks is either poorly managed or neglected by corporate. The employees are so sweet but there is no clear leadership here. Always out of everything. The app is never accurate on wait time. I always wait for 20+ minutes after I ordered 10 minutes prior. It’s the one closest to my house and I purposely go to other locations farther away so I don’t have to deal with this one in particular. Today I had to be on a flight and I left my house in plenty of time so I could ensure I wouldn’t be late, came to the store and had a sign the inside was closed. Had to go through the drive thru that was 20 cars deep and not moving. Ending up having to leave after I already paid so I wouldn’t be late for my flight. These employees deserve better!

This location is one of the worst I’ve ever been to. They’re always understaffed, 4/7 days out the week they’re out of cold brew, app says they don’t sell sweet cream, and you’re lucky to get your sandwich in stock. Twice this week now I’ve waited 20-30 minutes for my order.

Was in the area when I stopped at this Starbucks. I must say I have never been to a Starbucks and had unsatisfactory service. Kind and cheerful as any encounter Ive had. I love Starbucks staff. They are always so friendly and regardless of how busy they are that never interferes with their customer service.

I go here around four times a week but about to stop I don’t know what is going on but in the last week I have had to get two refunds. First one was because I was there for 45 minutes still didn’t get my coffee and was late to work. Second time I got my coffee but I asked for extra Caramel and there was a very small amount in it. Then when I tell him I asked for extra caramel he has the nerve to tell me well it only says regular. How is that my issue I get it you didn’t see it whatever but at least apologize and say let me remake that for you. Then the fact I was in there for 20 minutes when there was literally no one else in there and the drive-through hardly had anyone in it. I mean come on then when I asked for my refund I had to leave the coffee there that I had originally received which is beyond me because for one I just waited 20 minutes for something That wasn’t made properly and two You are not even allowed to take items back due to the coronavirus which is fine I wouldn’t of wanted the coffee anyway but you guys should not have taken it back Especially considering the fact that I was in there all of that time. Believe me I work in retail and I completely understand had you guys been busy that would’ve been one thing but there was only one other person in there. So for all the coffee my daughter and I get it? For all the coffee my company sends me out there to get it I hope it was worth it to lose me as a customer. Also prior to this week I’ve never had any issues so I don’t know if it’s under new management or you guys just have an entire new crew but it is not working out I can tell you that. You guys enjoy the rest of your day and thanks I can probably save a lot of money now making My own coffee 🤦🏻‍♀️After work:Then on top of that I was going to change my mind give them another chance and delete this review. Got off work went back went to order my coffee then they were completely out of Caramel, I know that’s not the workers fault but still damn 😏 made it to the one on Millwood Avenue at 8:59 when they were about to close no issues whatsoever .also when the one on garners ferry gave me my refund didn’t realize it till after I had left but they shorted me $.30 when I received my refund so after all I was charged for the extra caramel I originally ordered completely unacceptable.

Got the peppermint mocha hot chocolate turned out it was just lukewarm not hot chocolate for the price you expect everything to be top-of-the-line the drive-thru was difficult had to order the order five times for them to understand and get it right but they do stat on a main thoroughfare way with cars racing by so I can excuse that overall though the peppermint mocha its a very good drink just was disappointed it was not hot

This Starbucks just needs to close, they are extremely slow, they never have anything you request, and the drinks are never good anymore. Just left there after sitting in the drive thru line for 30 mins only to get to the window and get a disgusting drink TWICE!! I ended up getting a refund and leaving. And now late for an appointment, Never coming back, going to dunkin or anywhere else from now on!

Quite literally the worst experience ever. Starbucks, in my opinion, is synonymous with togo coffee. They are the poster child for it. That can be good or bad depending on your experience. On Saturday July 3rd my entire family decided that, before we started our trip to visit family in Florida, wed get cups and drinks at this Starbucks location. Big mistake! First rate cups and horrible customer experience is what greated us. First, we werent greated upon entering. This is totally forgivable. Second, after placing an order for coffee and buying several cups, we received only half the order. After realizing that they had served several customers that arrived after we placed our order, I asked the server if she was in the process of finishing our order. The reply I got was, What did you order? Not a big deal right? She finally proceeds to make the order and returns an eternity later. She thrusts the drinks in our direction, mutters something about not having strawberry for the drink my daughter ordered and walks away. Im trying to understand how Starbucks stays in business with service so horrible. You dont acknowledge your customers, you cant get an order right, and the product you give is incomplete and not even good. If this is the standard Id warn all you hard working folk to find your closest alternative and or buy a percolator and French press and make your own coffee. But at least we were satisfied with the cups we purchased.

In drive thru and it’s 1:53, they close at 2:00 and an employee came out and said they would take the last two cars orders which included us and then got on the speaker and refused to take our order as customers were walking inside, apparently still serving them. Don’t recommend.

Ordered a cold drink, paid and stood off to the side like everyone else. Watched as the boy working near drive through slams objects around obviously frustrated at how busy they were. I get this, I own a resteraunt and am also short staffed BUT I nor my staff are rude to people. A woman walked in 5 minutes after me and ordered at the counter. She receives her drink within minutes of ordering as people whom have placed online orders and myself stand there dumbfounded. I ask how she got her drink before any of us and the boy snaps at me that he makes the drinks in order that the order is placed. Ummm, obviously not, we all watched this lady walk in and order after us and I was certainly not the only one extremely annoyed!! $5 coffee not worth all that!!!

Like that you can preorder on the app. My drink and sandwich were ready when I got there. Everything I my order was right. They have a clean place inside and friendly staff.Food is still not very good. It’s just heated in a microwave but they have a decent selection and it’s good for when you’re in a hurry.

Order placed online, estimated pick up time of 2:45 PM. I arrive 2:55 PM and ask barista for my order. She is very rude and gestures towards several cups on the counter and says she has to finish those and then will get my order. I apologize for asking anything and walked away. My order was finished 3 mins later. I will never return. Horrendous. I’m in customer service and know just because you’re having a bad/busy day you don’t snap at a customer for literally doing what the customer supposed to do, what the app instructs to do.

The worlds slowest starbucks. If there are more than five cars in line youll easily be waiting 45 minutes. I now drive 5 minutes extra to a starbucks that is farther away and its still quicker than sitting and waiting at this starbucks.

This is the slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to! Last time I was here I pulled up and saw a yellow truck in the drive-through. I decided to walk inside the target right across the street to get my Starbucks there instead. I even walked around the store a little bit and then when I came to leave I saw that that same yellow truck was still in the drive-through line. I decided to try again and come this morning. I did a mobile order and waited in the car with my dogs for a little while. Then I came inside. I am still waiting 15 minutes later for a mobile order just one coffee!

Made a mobile order for my drink and was told it would take 5-8 mins and be ready at 2:00. Pulled up and saw that there were about 8 cars in line so I went inside instead. Ordered a drink from the new menu and they didn’t know how to make it. Ordered an iced coffee and iced macchiato instead. The iced coffee had no ice and was hot in a plastic cup. The macchiato was hot too but the wait was so long (even though nobody was in the store) I just left anyway.

My husband and I go to this location almost daily. Good customer service. We always go inside rather than sitting in the drive-thru, as the line usually wraps around the building. The facility is clean and they seem to have resolved some recent staffing issues. I recommend this location.

Poor asked for Venti blonde roast ended up with a grande. Then they filled it to the rim in a single cup that had already been spilled on before I received the cup. The staff is very friendly and works hard, but the past several times I was there I waited 30-45 minutes in the drive thru- I was told the past couple of times that there is only one machine working- they seemed to be short on staff as well. Hopefully they can get some more help soon and get the equipment fixed. At least 6 cars left the line yesterday because of the wait.

Love this Starbucks.... the staff is awesome. I have a choice of going to the Starbucks on Fort Jackson or drive out of my way and go to the one on Garners Ferry... I choose Garners Ferry every time. The staff is always friendly and they always get my order correct. The staff is always attentive and polite when approached by an upset customer... even customers that do not deserve their kindness. They just gave me a frozen croissant regardless of the fact that i ask for it to be warmed, lady who I presume is the manager kept changing her Ma’am to Sir which I don’t understand at all, and the drink took 10 minutes for no reason when it was just me and another family waiting. I have enough going on to not go through bad customer service and a bad order when it should at least be satisfactory if not a 5/5. Summer (who is a member of the leadership for this location) was extremely rude to me this morning as I attempted to place a catering order. This is after I had left several messages for her to return my call. I called early again today in an effort to catch her since all day seems to be there peak times and this is the response I received from her: Im working the drive-thru this morning and this is my peak time. I cant talk to you right now. At that point she proceeded to hang up on me. I have never been intentionally hung up on by any business organization. I expected more from the Starbucks brand as they have recently focused on sensitivity and civility training as a cooperation. Where is your professionalism? Where is your tact? Where is your management ability to balance store needs and catering needs?

I rarely have problems here. But lately it’s been issue after issue. I go here almost every week and get a keto drink. They do not actually have a drink called keto drink but I get my made with certain ingredients. Every time I get my drink made is always a different price than last time and I’m not sure why because I always get the same size in the same ingredients . Today they have filled my cup . I called to get the issue resolved and whomever I spoke with thought I was lying . I brought 2 one for me and one for my mom. And haven’t even tasted it yet .

This location is so close to my home. However it seems like they can never get my drink right especially if Im in the drive-thru. So I fixed that by going in and actually watching them make my drink! Well nope they still don’t get it right which is so annoying because of how simple my order is! My go to drink is the Iced Caramel Macchiato with extra ice. Simple right ? I get the extra ice because the espresso melts it down so fast when they pour it on top. But for some reason when I order my drink they like to add extra milk, or extra caramel or sometimes not enough like how hard is it to keep the same recipe and add EXTRA ICE!!! But honestly I love this drink that I still go and yes I am the customer who is going to make sure my drink is right before I leave!! So until they can get it right I’ll just have to keep getting it remade 🤷🏽‍♀️ #sorrynotsorry

Starbucks in Target on 378 near Lexington had great coffee (caramel machiato iced) and the service was fast. Barista was somewhat friendly, sitting in booth playing with phone and no other customers while I was there. I felt like I had interrupted her down time, but maybe they are allowed to sit in customer booths and play on cellphones??

I go to this Starbucks when I am home on leave. I usually like to get used coffee grounds for composting. Imagine my surprise when I went today and they told me they no longer do it. The gentleman told me there was a Starbucks downtown and one in Target that do it. Then he said the problem is they has no containers. Usually they just put it in plastic bags. I get it.
