Small town friendly service. Very reasonable pricing. If we lived here, this would be our go to place.

I dropped my truck off to have the full exhaust reworked as it was leaking, upon receiving my truck back I noticed that although it looks good from a distance every weld has something wrong with it. Some welds towards the front are so full of porosity they still leak and others towards the rear are ran so cold that they didnt fuse the two pipes together. As a structural welder if I would have known this was the quality I would recieve for $350 I would have asked for the bent pipe and welded it myself. Extremely disappointed.Update: Although he did fix the welds the repairs are still poor quality and rather than being apologetic of the poor quality I was told I need to pull my review down and that I should have gone through him, which I did, as soon as his shop was open again since I had picked up on a Friday after hours and returned the following Monday. But upon picking up the second time their solution was to try and remelt the weld metal with a torch and braze over their holes. This has now left me with weak points and future rust spots as the heat has changed the structure of the pipes. My review shall remain and will not be returning. If I had to guess this is why he has only good reviews is hes telling people to take them down.

Very helpful and cheap got me in when I was in como I needed my exhaust hangers welded back on did a great job and very fast and reasonable definitely will be going back

Im very impressed with Dave Simpson Automotive & Exhaust! When I Called initially and spoke with Dave he was very helpful to helping me make an appointment for my truck. Joe is Amazing he worked on my truck and my exhaust leak that I was experiencing on my Ram 1500 Hemi he went over and beyond to explain everything that was happening and what he could do to help me. Even the receptionist greated me and asked me how my day was going and assured me I was in good hands and they would fix my truck and get me on my way safely. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone reading reviews trying to figure out where to take there car or truck! Trust me Im super hesitant about anyone working on my truck that I can trust and that wont try to over or up charge me for things I dont need. Im glad to say Im happy with the services and price I paid here and will definitely be back for any and all future needs for my truck! Thank You! 💯

I had a truly great experience here. I calked in the morning around 8:30 am and asked to see if they could look at my car. They said come on in Well take a look at it. Got there around 10am they put it on the lift and explained the problem and gave me a quote which from experience was very reasonable. Took them about 30 minutes and I was on my way. They definitely impressed me and I recommend them to everyone. They dont try to fix anything that doesnt need fixing because I asked if anything else was wrong they said no.

Havent even paid them yet, just sitting outside waiting for them to finish up, and Im already happy enough with their work to leave 5 stars. Repair time estimate is 15 minutes. Unbelievable. Thank you, guys!

This shop came recommended to me after my truck didn’t pass inspection due to an exhaust issue. I went right over to Dave Simpson Automotive and they were busy but asked that I come back or leave my vehicle. I decided to come back. The shop was easy to find and conveniently located.When I came back to the shop Joe quickly assessed the damage and fixed it right on the spot! It took about 30 min and I was outta there! Great service great price, and I’ll definitely be recommending them to everyone as well as bringing my other vehicles here.

Truly a hidden gem in terms of auto service here in CoMo!I came in for a free quote on an exhaust leak. Dave took a look at my car, showed me where the damage was, and explained to me how the leak was affecting my car and, consequently, what parts would need to be repaired/replaced. I appreciate a shop that honestly communicates with their clients. Price was very reasonable compared to other quotes I had gotten, and the service was prompt, friendly, and professional.
