Henry was absolutely fantastic. I came in with an upper receiver that needed a muzzle device to be pinned & welded. Henry made quick work of it, and I was able to pick it up the next day.I’ll certainly be back again.
Time after time Ill drop by and Henry will help immediately; forget the big box guys; use Henry
A little disappointed with the transparency. Took in a 1944 KAR98K to be cleaned. Was under the impression the whole rifle would be cleaned. Unfortunately that apparently does not cover the wood. He stated that he doesn’t clean the wood. His response to why the barrel was still rusty was because “it will go away when I shoot it.” Little irritated that paying $65 for a stripped and cleaned service doesn’t cover the wood being cleaned nor the barrel being cleaned. However, the parts he did clean were very good.
Very satisfied customer....great customer service and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend Colorado Arms Repair for any and all gun needs!
Very good gun smity very knowledgeable. Came for a sight change was in and out in 10 to 15 minutes. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.
Took a 380 in cause it wouldnt fire and he put a new firing pin in it cause the old one was broke in and out within 30 minutes but most of all I love that he isnt a big corporation he is locally owned and operated and does really good work..
I took my Ruger Blackhawk on for a strip clean and stated I wanted it disassembled, and cleaned. After getting home I took a closer look at my gun and realized it wasnt disassembled and cleaned. Added a picture of below the sights after i cleaned it. This is ridiculous that this was passed of as being strip cleaned. Go elsewhere. Forgot to add, the gun was, for some reason, fired even though it wasnt striped and therefore had no reason to shoot it. I know this because of the residue left in the barrel that was clean when I took it to him. Also, I find it funny that he responded to the other 1 star review and not mine. Cause he knows he screwed me
Brought in a Smith & Wesson Victory model. He immediately diagnosed and repaired. Friendly, efficient, and priced right!!!24 Feb 2021. Brought in a Ruger 10/22 that required a “ tune up”. Excellent.......EXCELLENT service as always!!!
Excellent service! got sights changed out quickly and adjusted at fair price. Definitely will be back in future.
Awesome gunsmith. Reasonable prices, quick, thorough. Save yourself the headache and leave it to the professionals. Highly recommended.
Excellent service, very fast and efficient, Veteran owned and operated, thank you for your service Mr. Henry, would recommend to anyone needing work, thank you, Juan from Acme Pawn.
Best gunsmith in Colorado Springs, fast service, reasonable prices, highly recommend.
Needed a quick feed ramp polishing. Did it quick.
Was quick, fair, and friendly. Not much more you can ask for.
I’ve been there twice for work on my pistol and the prices and service were great. Work was was done super quickly. I would highly recommend.
Mr.Henry is really helpful and a nice vet, he helped me tighten up the barrel nut and other stuff with very little charge. Job well done. Will definetly come back.
Henry does a great job, hes worked on two of my firearms now and I have no complaints. He will be my gunsmith from here on out.
Brought my Remington 870 Tact-14 in because I wanted to put a nylon strap on the hand guard. I did not have the tools nor the confidence to do it on my own because you had to drill four holes into the hand guard. I wasnt even in there 10 min and it was done. He made it seem effortless and did a great job.
Took a .308 riffle here to have the extractor replaced, very thorough polite, kind and funny. 100% recommend this establishment for any firearm repair needs!!!!!
Extremely pleased with the outcome, I had 2 malfunctioned weapons in which I had no idea what was going on. Not only he assisted me, but he also gave my diagnosis of what was going on with it in less then 15 minutes. His expert knowledge shows, and I highly recommend to anyone who is having any issues with their weapons. You won’t regret making this decision in choosing him over the other repair shops in town. A++++++++++
Awesome gunsmith. Fixed my 100+ year old smith and wesson m1917 even though it needs a new part, still got it working. Would HIGHLY recommend!
Visited here for a simple repair on my revolver, and was able to get it fixed on the spot, in and out in fifteen minutes! Great service, great pricing and easy accessibility, what more could you ask for? Im quite pleased and will surely be back again.
I tweaked the spring on my SKS safety while trying to disassemble the rifle for cleaning. Colorado Arms Repair was able to fix it in about 10 minutes while I waited. Good prices and this guy knows what hes doing. Vet owned business.
Unbelievable service.. took gun in and went to lunch. W was fixed before we finished lunch. Highly recommend. Will do business again
No BS, No Up selling, No delay and absolutely no lack of knowledge. Fantastic smith who really knows his stuff. Google maps is a little hard to follow to get to his place but its worth the effort to get there. Henry is the real deal.
This guy is awesome! Ive done numerous transfers and a repair with him and he is so easy going. Nice low-key location right off I-25. Very knowledgeable on repairs and upgrades.
Had front sight changed .. he was friendly quick and his price is amazing...****edit begins here**** have now had 2 front sights and a rear installed... No change to his outstanding customer service and amazing price... Hes a veteran owned small business
Not only is Henry supremely knowledgeable, but professional as well. Every gunsmith in town said it would take a week to 3 weeks to fit me in for a simple Trijicon sight install on my Glock 17. Hearing that from all around town I figured ok maybe a day or two, but that wasn’t the case at all. Henry got me in and out of there in 15 minutes at a fair price. Definitely will be telling everybody I know to utilize his great service and he has definitely produced a return customer out of me. Thank you Henry!
Many transactions with Henry. Always very positive. Prices are extremely fair. Even a few times he did not charge me for little repairs. And as far as John Doe goes .The only gentleman to give him one star. Henry was probably giving him dumb answers to dumb questions. And if he marred your firearm? And you did not bring it back within the two-week warranty period to at least give him a chance to inspect and fix it. That is on you. Be a good firearm owner
Took my vintage model 94 in to be adjusted after another gunsmith in town messed it up and Henry fixed it while I waited. Everything functions perfectly now. Finally found a competent gunsmith in this town!
I was having trouble removing a flash suppressor from a Savage 338 I received second hand. Henry had it off in a flash, and installed and timed my new muzzle brake in half an hour. He even took the time to grind down one of his own washers to align the brake as I had bought the wrong sized washers. He was professional, took care in handling my rifle, and was fairly priced. Ill definitely be back.
Very professional and friendly. A knowledge gunsmith who handled my problem pistol on the spot. In addition, the price for his service was very reasonable. I would not hesitate going back to him and recommending him to others.
Came in on Saturday February 10th to have a muzzle device installed on my tavor. He installed it right in front of me and was very friendly. Easily best prices and service in town. Would highly recommend
Service was excellent, he was very knowledgeable and personable. Really appreciated his time. I will definitely be back!
Had a problem with my shotgun and stopped by here, Henry was very friendly and efficient. I was in and out in 20 minutes with my shotgun repaired. Will definitely go back for any gun repair needs.
Helped me fix an issue with my first AR build. Thank you Henry. I will recommend you to others.
Great gunsmith! I read the reviews and I was not disappointed. Easy to find, right off I-25. Fast, friendly service at a great price. I would definately recommend this shop for all your gunsmithing needs!
Great place for gunsmithing and FL transfers. Just don’t go in with dumb questions
What a great experience, very professional. I strongly recommend Colorado arms repair for anyone who needs a good gun smith or quality repair!
Henry does excellent work and his prices and timeliness can’t be beat.
I brought my 10.5 AR into to have the triangle replaced with an Odin adjustable gas block. VERY nice shop tucked into the Burbs, or what I consider the Burbs... Gunsmith came out and offered to replace the gas block on the spot even though he was clearly busy. I wasnt in a hurry so I told him that I could wait and we agreed upon a date several days later. I arrived at the agreed time and my AR upper was ready to ROLL! He only charged me $30 and was even kind enough to install a Magpul trigger guard on a blank lower that I brought with me on the spot. I like this guy and Im sure that you will too!!
Dropped a barrel for a M4 off along with my upper for a barrel swap on a new gun and barrel. I chose him because he has done work in the past for me and his reviews. I told him in person I don’t want it tossed in a vice and just wrenched on so it didn’t get scratched up.That’s Exactly what happened. It had rub marks from the vice and a deep gouge in the brand new barrel. I asked what he was going to do, emailed three times, no response after the first email. His response was bring it back so he can see it. I will try and post pictures. My reply to the owner: First of all, after we talked when we dropped it off, why did you send it back out with scratches and a gouge in the barrel knowing we discussed that I didn’t want any marks on it . I sent pictures when you asked me to bring it in and show you and you said they would wipe off .Then why didn’t you call or email me back to let me know you got a barrel in to fix your mistake ??What chemicals are you talking about ? The little cold blue pen I used on the gouge in the barrel?Do you want to make it right ? Email or call me I’d be happy to fix the review and do business with you but when you don’t reply even after your visit to the hospitol anyone would think you gave up on the deal ..
Wonderful person, great work, very reasonable prices, very fast and, all in all, THE place to get your firearm happy
The owner/operator is awesome, tons of experience and thus extremely knowledgeable. Highly recommend for any and all gunsmithing needs.
Took my New Taurus, Tracker, .44 Mag that was jamming in to be cleaned of manufacturers debris & oiled .He got the job done quick (thankfully because he definitely knows how much his time is worth) and explained why it had been jamming and what he had done to repair it .Thanks Henry
Very close to me on the West Side, very easy to get to, very easy to deal with, never a problem, very comfortable work environment, customer relationship is excellent, always very fast repair turn around, my go to smith for everything.
Took my new .338 lapua rifle there to have muzzle brake removed. I Was only charged shop minimum and he was done in about 5 mins. fast, quality, friendly service.
I stoppedy by to have an ambi safety put on a pistol. I expected to be given a slip of paper and told to come back in a week. This is not what happened. The owner took my pistol and put in the safety right then and there. As the gun was a little dirty he also cleaned it so he could do the work. He then charged me a VERY reasonable price for the work. I have found my go-to gunsmith!
He got a piece of a luger loose in 30 sec I had been banging on for 2 hours. Super guy and priced very low. Will only use him from now on.
Excellent work, great hourly price, will definitely go back in the future.
Very professional and friendly, The prices are amazing, I will definitely go back and will recommend this place to others.
Great service with quick turnaround and reasonably priced. Henry is now my go to Gun Smith!
Awesome, professional, and friendly guy who definitely knows how to get the job done!
Awesome fixed my old Mossberg up RIGHT!!
Greatly helpful on my first build.
Hard worker with a great attitude and quality.
THIS GUY KNOWS HIS STUFF...
Not gonna lie I had my doubt at first, but after a 15 min conversation with a fellow veteran while I watch him work. My gun was fixed and the price was fair.
Lots of dealings with Henry. All A+
They are good
