The 5 stars on this all go to my installer, Joey Elder. His crew left him halfway through the job so he had to finish hours of work by himself. He was kind and stayed until the job was done well- it took until after sunset! Thank you Joey, for having integrity and doing a great job when put in a tough circumstance.

We had half of our windows installed by Pella of Colorado Springs. Nice window but a poor and sloppy install. There was NO spray foam or insulation used around the window while the opening was available, a wasted opportunity. The solution was to say sometime we do and sometimes we dont do those extra steps. Lack of quality control. It took the installer 5 extra trips after the install to finish the tasks to complete the job. The exterior finish was very sloppy with caulking and looked unfinished, good luck for the homeowner getting up to the 2nd story to finish the painting and touch up work. Lastly, the windows were left dirty with caulking on the glass surface, again good luck cleaning the upper windows. Solution was, we arent professional window cleaners. They are using the Pella name to make money and using sub-par labor to install. My solution was to have another company finish the other half. This other company will use spray foam, a metal wrap to finish the exterior and upgrade the window for the same price that I was charged with Pella. If you go with Pella, make sure you get the best crew they have. Lesson learned!

I had a representative come into my home to give me a bid. He was a nice kid. I dont need a dog and pony show and he was good about that. What I dont understand is why Pella resorts to the sales tactics they use. First, there are the phony promotions. 10% off for this; we have a 5% off promotion for that; well give you an extra 10% off if you pay in full and another % if you sign up today... Wut? Second, they dont give you a full and complete written bid. Which series of window is being quoted? I asked about a specific quality but how can I compare with other bids without knowing which series was quoted? What is included in the bid? What is the breakdown between labor/supplies and the cost of the window? Ive attached what I received. Literally, one piece of paper. Overall, I resent the insult to my intelligence.

Our home required extensive window and sliding glass door replacements from hail damage. The replacements were performed by a Pella Certified company. Due to insurance, we had to replace our original Pella windows with new Pella windows. I can say, now that we are all finished with the project, that the windows are good quality and the windows are functioning well. However getting the project completed took over one year! 14 months to be exact. The time to completion had nothing to do with COVID. I had to be home 13 different days to meet the service team, not including the weeks I had to be home during the original time for installation. It took 173 emails and countless phone calls to achieve completion. Although Pella covered the costs of damages and repairs to our house and furniture, the total cost was over $8,000. I had to contact and arrange for all of the repairs. We needed drywall repair, painting, hardwood floor repair, landscape repair, and replacement of an expensive dining table. Then began the arduous process of getting damaged and factory flawed windows replaced. As noted it took 13 attempts to do this and over one year. The problems were numerous and varied - screens not installed, scratched windows, globs of glue in between the panes, missing hardware, missing screw hole plugs, partial deliveries of missing hardware, more scratches and globs of glue in the replacement windows, partial deliveries of replacement windows (i.e. brought two windows instead of three), not enough men to do large windows so had to reschedule, windows were the wrong size, windows were not tempered. Even the Pella service men, who I got to know quite well, could not believe how bad the windows and the factory work was. The service men that came out were always very nice, but very embarrassed. They stated they would not put the replacement windows in their houses either. Finally, just to get the project completed, I accepted two windows with only mild blemishes. These windows cost thousands of dollars each. Getting unblemished glass for that price should be a given. I requested, and did get a discount on the price of the job. It calculated out to 1.5% of the total cost! Since it was an insurance project, Pella received full price.

Jessica provided extensive information about the windows and doors on display in the office showroom that could be beneficial when making decisions to upgrade. She provided several pamphlets, showed me all the features and additional customization options available for the windows and doors. She was also able to identify the differences between a lower tier and a higher tier model. She also explained about the warranty that comes with the installation and would be able to get in contact with certified Pella technicians who can perform window and door repairs if needed.

We had a locking issue with a Pella Swing door which is over 20 years old. We were very concerned that we might have to replace the entire door at considerable expense because a new replacement lock might not be available, but after a few phone calls we were informed that the replacement part could still be manufactured. We were under a deadline to get the repair work completed and were thrilled at the follow-through of the entire team we spoke to. Everyone worked together to get our part manufactured, delivered and installed as promised by our deadline. Kudos go out to SARINA our Customer Service contact, JENNA our contact for confirming the part was still available and GEORGE our Technician who did a professional, efficient installation. Great service provided by everyone. We appreciated that the items from the original order 20 years ago were in Pella’s system and that the team could access all the information needed without having to send someone out in person. Efficient, premium services for a premium product. We are very pleased at the work performed and the service offered. Thank you.

We came into their show room to look at new patio doors and windows for our new house. We were rudely told to go wash our hands before touching anything. We did and then we hung out for a few minutes waiting for someone to even acknowledge we were there. The woman at the front desk was on a personal call and we saw at least three sales people working around the corner, none of which even glanced in our direction. So we left and I guess we are going to find someone else to use.

I can not say enough POSITIVE things about Pella Windows Install Crew. These gentlemen were super respectful of my home and were a pleasure to communicate with. I would HIGHLY recommend installing beautiful Pella Windows in your home and request Bill Perkins, Skyler and Mikey. Bill Perkins is a Master of finishing off the windows with his GORGEOUS trim work. Made three attempts at a Pella consultation. Two virtual calls missed and one in person missed. Nathan Anderson was a no show. Pella blames US for missing the virtual calls but when I asked to confirm my information, the customer service person gave me the wrong city name and then transposed the phone number. No follow up, no show, bad all around. Can’t even reach Pella Corporate. We have done business with Pella for 26 years. We have 35 Pella windows and doors in our home. Several need repair but Pella doesn’t seem to want our business. Very disappointed!!

They wont repair a broken slim shade inside the 2 panes of glass in one of our patio doors. A new one costs $500 + labor. They took my order but now I am waiting & waiting for an email confirmation & setting a repair date. I will have to call again. The last time we needed a repair call it took 6 months to get someone to come! Expecting the same this time--if I ever get the order done.

Dustin, Dave, Max and Tyler did an awesome job in installing our new Storm Door and French Doors with Storms! They were here promptly on time (8 am Monday morning!) and had the big project finished by noon. They were very precise and meticulous in their work. The service professional, George, was excellent! He removed 2 rollers (21 years old) and installed 2 new ones. The door now opens and shuts like it’s rolling on ice!I’ll have to join a gym now to give my arms exercise!😀

I never write reviews for anything, but I was very impressed by the job that was done by Pella Windows and Doors of Colorado.All of the people from our salesperson, Lisa, to the installers and project managers were superbly professional and did what they said they would do. They did not leave until they knew we were happy with the job.If you want a high quality job and real professionals, I would certainly recommend them based on what we experienced.

So far, GREAT!!! Met with Lisa Valdez this morning, who was everything I’d hoped for—low key, knowledgeable, and responsive to everything I told her about what we want and need. Her design experiences and ideas helped me decide on colors and hardware—I give her an A+!!!

I made an appointment to have a Pella representative come to my house to give me an estimate. The scheduling was easy and the representative, Eric Van Valkenburg was an extremely nice guy. He explained the product and options, helped me to design a door and gave me an estimate on the spot. I really appreciated that there was no sales pressure. Eric was professional and courteous and it was a nice experience. If you are looking for doors or windows, I can recommend meeting with Eric to discuss your needs.

Have a 25 year old casement window and the opening/closing mechanism was stripped. Making an appointment for repair was easy and the customer service rep was very friendly. Haz Gutierrez, the technician, was extremely knowledgeable, quickly diagnosed the problem and had a new gear mechanism installed in short order. He even showed me how to fix the windows when they start getting a bit sticky by adjusting the swing arm mounting screws. The total price was very reasonable as well. Well done Pella.

I was able to schedule an in-home visit online (major plus), and it was a super painless process from there on out. Clif came to my home and we discussed all of my options. He was not at all pushy and guided me through my selections by asking questions and figuring out the best solution for me. It was initially thought that I could not get the sidelights that I wanted, but on the installation consult they discovered that it would be possible. I was able to make that change and some other minor changes without issue. The physical installation was perfect. The delivery driver arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled installation, and dropped off my door with the installer. Josh and team installed the door within a few hours and cleaned up leaving no trace. The old door and other debris were contained to the side of the house and a team came to clean it up about 36 hours later. I chose Pella because it seemed like a one stop solution that would be able to handle everything from consultation to installation without any hassle. That was absolutely the case. The cost is obviously higher than some other options, but the quality is great and the ease made it even better.

I had eighteen windows installed and many required custom fitting. They did an amazing job down to the drywall work. Very happy with the quality of the installation. The windows look and work great. I still cannot believe the difference in noise reduction and insulation. Best money I’ve spent on my house so far!

Excellent experience from start to finish. Highly recommend! Josh (our salesman) was professional and did not pressure us. We had about 4 other companies give us estimates as well, but Pella quality was obviously superior. Tim was our installer and he has extreme attention to detail. Tim was very professional. He arrived on time, worked hard all day, and cleaned up every evening. He did not just slap the windows and doors in, he made sure every step was done properly to produce a quality end product. He even cleared his schedule to allow an extra day of work at our house when some unexpected dry rot was found under a window. Tim ripped out all the rot and repaired it ensuring we were satisfied with the repair. He didnt take advantage of this unexpected damage and charged us a fair price to repair it. This rot wouldnt have been found had we gone with another company that only inserts their windows into the existing window frames/sills. Pella does it right and rips out the old and replaces it with new. Josh (our salesman) and our project manager came out and checked on the progress personally to ensure we were happy with everything. Again, highly recommend!

If you need windows then Pella is who you should go with! I’m glad I did! Lisa was the sales person I dealt with. She was honest and worked diligently to get us the best deal for the windows we wanted. Lisa also made sure we understood all of our options and the process. Once ordered I believe it took about a month. When the big day came Bill and his helper arrived to install our windows. I cannot say enough to express how pleased we were with the work Bill did at our home installing our windows. The care he took and the pride he has in his work showed. We have a stucco home and the precision that the stucco was cut to remove the old windows was fantastic. The new windows fit like a glove with no expensive stucco repair needed. We are very happy with the quality of our Pella windows! The clarity of the glass is amazing. I highly recommend contacting Lisa at Pella and requesting Bill for your installer. I’m sure all their installers are great but we just loved Bill. He rocks! Maybe you’ll be lucky and get to visit with his amazing dog May too.

Although we ended up not using Pella to replace our two front windows, Adam Montvilo did an excellent presentation of Pella products. He was punctual with his appointment time, educated me precisely on what the install would look like and overall did a fantastic job of making me feel comfortable. Pella is an outstanding product and had we been able to put forth the funds to purchase the windows, we would have bought with Pella.

Lisa was great to work with. She was very knowledgeable about the windows and explained everything clearly. I appreciated the fact that she was never pushy. She didnt try to talk me into spending more on windows than I was willing to do at this time, and for the price point of my home. I would highly recommend her.

Andre and Josh H. installed my replacement windows due to hail damage. They finished the installation in a timely manner while still maintaining an impeccable eye for detail. They kept the work area neat (laying down protective mats in each site) and even vacuumed up each area upon finishing their work for the day. They were polite, friendly, and respectful, while keeping me apprised of the work schedule. Should I need replacement Pella windows in the future, I will specifically request Andre and Josh H. as my window installation team.

I need to replace an old window with bad dry rot in a bathroom. I had a very productive visit with Lisa. She was knowledgeable and able to show me a product thats a close match for the existing windows in my house. (I had contacted a couple other businesses in the area asking about a replacement window, and been blown off, possibly because this is a small project and I dont need to replace all of the windows in my house.). Excellent customer service.

We recently had entry, sliding, and French doors, as well as seven large floor to ceiling windows, installed. Our salesman Josh was wonderful, very knowledgeable, and helped us through the entire process. Not only is the quality of the product excellent, but Tims installation crew was outstanding. I couldnt give higher praise for Tims craftsmanship and professionalism.We had originally sought out many quotes from other vendors, but were overall dissatisfied with proposed installation methods. Most wanted to overlay their product over existing window frames and seemed averse to any other method. We chose Pella because they remove everything from the preexisting windows and doors and start from scratch, ensuring quality from start to finish. I am glad we did, as the previous owners had skimped on craftsmanship, which was quite evident during removal of the old windows and doors.We will not use anyone other than Pella.

Haz, the technician, was great! Im thrilled to have my sliding patio door rolling smoothly now with new rollers. He did a great job and was very friendly. If Pella could speed up the scheduling to get our their great technicians with a few weeks, rather than months, that would be even better.

Erik Brown and Dan Laughlin were knowledgeable, professional and earned our trust throughout what was a tough retrofit. They worked with us from the start, dealing with any issues along the way and through to final installation. I had a 13k order to place for windows today, was also met with a rude female ( I think ), and also demanded I wash my hands. Then mad me wait a while to even as what I needed. Since the rep wouldnt respond to my calls, I canceled the deal, just like they should cancel the employment of that thing in front!

Want to voice my genuine thanks and recommendation for Eric Brown,the project manager of my installation. I have had two separate replacement installations through Pella. The first one went much smother than the second, but in both, when I realized Eric was thecontact person for concerns, issues were 1st understood, l and thensolved. The windows are beautiful and I am very satisfied.

Stephen came out an installed a new roller on our sliding glass door. He was very friendly, polite, and quick. Ever since we purchased the door in 2004, we have been very happy with the service from Pella.

Pretty disappointing. My husband stopped by the showroom twice and submitted an inquiry on the Pella website to try to get someone to come out for an estimate for a new patio door, but we cant get them to call us to schedule an appointment. Guess a patio door isnt enough business for them to even worry about so well have to look elsewhere.

I enjoyed learning my options from what seemed to be a very honest sales rep. Definitely wasnt the cheapest option, but I was confident it would be the best fit for what I was looking for. Would like a little more updating along the way. There was quite a long wait between signing the contract and the window install and then I wasnt made aware there would be a delivery team, then later on an install team.

We had a problem with a couple of our Pella windows losing their seal and called Pella and they couldnt be more helpful. Our windows were under warranty and they immediately sent someone out to look at them. We dealt with Jessica via email and she was so helpful setting up our replacements as well as setting up a convenient time to have the work done. We will be remodeling in the future and look forward to working with Pella Windows again. Thank you Jessica for all of your help.

Windows are decent quality. Installation left something to be desired. They damaged the stucco on the house and after three months of being told they would fix it, I finally just did the work myself. Definitely need to work on their customer service and I would not recommend having the company install the windows.

Dean and Blake were very professional and courteous. They removed their shoes/wore booties upon entering my home. They answered all my questions and went over some maintenance details for the doors and showed me how to remove the screens. They took care of all the little issues that needed addressing. I was very pleased with their service and their professionalism.

One year ago, today, we replaced two patio doors and an entrance door in our main home with the Pella Designer Series and the quality and comfort they provide is simply amazing. There was transparency between the project manager and the installers where the work was professionally done with precision throughout the entire business relationship. The install team did an incredible job pointing out instead of covering up surfaces that had suffered intense weather damage and repaired it at no additional cost. I was very particular about my wood grain and what the company offered, and it matched up perfectly. We had a similar experience in a previous home where we installed the designer series, which was a deal breaker when we sold it some years later after a couple of weeks on the market. Just recently I reached out to management on an unresolved matter that not only received immediate attention but also a personal guaranteed of complete satisfaction. This has been another remarkable experience with Pella because they did what they said and delivered on their promise. I look forward to replacing my remaining windows and doors with their unique design based on their dependability, quality, and craftsmanship which is the best in the business…thank you, Pella, for your superb after-sales service and commitment!

I checked the website on Memorial Day 2014 for this location. In big red letters it stated We are open today so I drove (30 miles) to the store to purchase two Pella screen doors for sliders and two Pella slider handles. They were closed with a note on the door that apologized for any inconvenience.I returned the following day to place the same order and was told that those items were not sold by the Pella store, but if I would fill out this request form I would be contacted. I was not contacted and on Friday morning I called the store again and asked to speak with the store manager. The receptionist informed me that there was not a store manager and perhaps she could help. I told her that Pella was supposed to contact me so I could purchase some screen doors and slider handles and that I had filled out a form with her on Tuesday. She said they had been very busy but she could transfer me to the correct department. The man who answered works for Pella in Denver (not COS) and had no idea why I would be transferred to him, but he was willing to ty to find out and would call me back. I have 27 Pella doors and windows in my home and it seems as though Pella is less than interested in helping me buy screens or replacement handles for them. C.A. Phipps COS

I emailed these people to get a price for a four windows. The salesperson was clueless on the product line I wanted so I phoned her to get some clarity. I made it ABSOLUTELY clear that I did not need a window contractor, I am installing the windows myself. She never got the price for me. Instead, she gave my personal cell phone and email to some window contractors. I now get phone calls day and night from non-English speaking telemarketers trying to sell me a window package. My inbox is filled with spam from window companies. Stay away from these people, unless of course you want your personal information distributed to telemarketing vermin.

Have been trying to get a broken window replaced since the hail storm last summer. I have called several times and talked with various people but still no window. A general manager called me in Dec with promises to take care of business and then I never heard from anyone again. Ive called him and texted him but still no response. I had someone come out last summer (before the hail storm) to service my windows and to look at one window. Snow blows in at the midline seam in the winter. I was told that it was installation error. Funny all the rest of my windows were installed correctly. Long story short Im beginning to question the quality and customer service of Pella windows.

We met with Haz this morning. He was very professional and helpful. We look forward to working with Haz in the future.

Aug 24, 2020 another update:We are building an addition to our house and wanted to the windows to match so we decided to give Pella another chance. Yet another mistake and no way will I ever use Pella for another project again or recommend to others. Order placed and it was supposed to be delivered this past week. The contractor called to confirm delivery the next day and we was told they wouldnt be here until the end of September. How can you not communicate to people of a delayed order of over a month and a half. Other contractors are scheduled and in place to work. This will delay our prodject, rescheduling of other trades.. Utterly unacceptable. Use another company if you can but DO NOT USE PELLA AT ALL!!Update from initial review:We were contacted by the area sales manager and he came to our house to discuss the issues we encountered. We were treated with respect and he listened to all of our issues and investigated our case. The sliding door now operates as it should. All of the installers and repair personnel were clean, on time and courteous. Our case identified various systems and processes within Pella that will be changed and improved. We have another project coming that will require new windows and doors and we will use Pella again.DO NOT USE PELLA WINDOWS AND DOORS!! We received quotes from several window and door companies and initially settled on Pella. They were just under Anderson, in price and quality. When the final measure date came we were informed the salesman made a mistake and our project would now cost us quite a bit more. We should have canceled at this point and gone with Anderson because they were the same at this point. But we were already a couple weeks later and wanted to get the project going. The window install went well and we are happy with them but we are now waiting for Pella to return for fourth time to attempt to get the sliding glass door right. The original came with mismatched parts, second assembly came without breather tubes, third door was fixed with breather tubes but the fixed glass is bowed and needs to be replaced. We have requested a manger or supervisor to contact us repeatedly and have been ignored. Sales people do not know what they are selling and will raise the price once they have you, poor quality control, substandard product knowledge and ordering for region and terrible customer service and care. Save your time and go with a company that will address your needs with care, knowledge and a quality product. Call Anderson!!

Andre was a pleasure to talk to! He was genuinely interested in our whole Pella experience and was very helpful.

The best part of our experience with Pella is the service person, Haz Gutierrez. He is so competent. But we have had trouble with other aspects of Pella. We have the expensive designer doors with interior blinds. After 11 years one of the sliding doors was beginning to be difficult to open. A repair person (other than Haz) tried to fix them. That night we noticed it was not quite closed. It wouldn’t move. We tried to open and shut it and with a big push the door came off the track and fell onto our deck. This was in the middle of winter and there we were on a cold night with no door. Haz came the next morning He fixed everything—adjusted the wheels and made the door move easily.Our second problem is with the designer blinds that go between the panels. They began to rip 1 month after the warranty period was over. No relief from the company. We are replacing them, but that process has been difficult. Thank goodness for Haz, or I would not be dealing with the service department.

Lisa Valdez was wonderful! Very intuned to our needs and gave us several design options.I made all the decisions and my hubby came in and reminded us of something I had forgotten. Lisa did not miss a beat. She refigured everything, bless her heart, and set the date. It is a very large window. David Thompson did the install. Super, left everything clean and tidy.I love our new window!Thank you Lisa!

Daniel M. in the Denver office did a great job in assisting me with my window problem. I highly recommend Daniel and his staff. *** (if only more salespersons were like Daniel).

On June 26th, Haz Gutierrez from Pella replaced the rollers and cleaned the track of our sliding glass door. Works great, now. Haz was very helpful answering questions and was very professional. Great job, Haz! Thanks so much.

My husband and I own a window repair company in Colorado Springs. Sometimes attempting to get quotes and parts from window manufacturers for our customers repair needs can be a very trying experience. We have worked several times with Jessica A over the past few years (working for Pella in Denver). She has been absolutely a pleasure to deal with, very prompt with all quotes, and goes above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs are met. Cant say enough about Jessica and her high level of customer service. LEAKING WINDOWS, SASHES ROTTED, DOORS WARPING....DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PELLA. HORRIBLE PRODUCT AND THEY DONT CARE. WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH PROBLEM FOR A DOZEN YEARS AND HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN REPAIRS. JUST LEARNED THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT REGARDING THIER PRODUCTS AND PEOPLE ALL OVER THE COUNTRY HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE.

Service after the sale remains a problem. I ordered a replacement window glass in August that still isnt delivered in October. They never give updates, they treat you like dirt on the telephone, they dont clearly state that you may have to wait MONTHS for replacement parts, They charge you to come out and look at problems. All in all a horrible company to deal with

Horrible experience. The bottom of our door warped and can no longer close properly have spent MONTHS just trying to get an estimate and never hear back from them. I have text pictures to the number given and they still didnt respond. It shouldnt be the customers job to hound a company for a simple qoute. Months later I still dont have a quote or new door.

I have purchased several sets of windows from them and have liked their showroom and service. I have dealt with Paul & Kyle, both great guys.

Good experience. Good product for price
