Hidden gem. I saw this spot on the map and as I drove over I thought I might be in the wrong area, but it is here! This place has a warm modern vibe with very friendly staff, delicious food, and coffee. Most of the plants are doing well too 😜I tried the avocado toast with two eggs and a spicy tomato jam with pickled red onions and a cortado. Both were lovely. The cortado even came on a cute little tray with a side of sparking water which you only find at a few classy espresso shops. ☕️There are only a few seats with power outlets so only a couple of tables will have laptops there all day which is probably for the best.I’m a little sad I just found this spot since I’m leaving soon. This is a very friendly spot that feels like home. 💕

I got the herbed grilled cheese sandwich (pictured below) and an iced honey lavender latte, both of which were very tasty. I also got a dark chocolate chip sea salt cookie, which was probably one of the most delicious cookies Ive had in a while. Comparable to my uncle Jacks cookies from his shop in Minneapolis. But half of this cookie fell on the ground while I was walking home - 5 second rule though, so I still ate it. :)

Great coffee and conversation spot, if youre going on a date and you both want coffee Id go here over Starbucks. Theres very few options but theyre all great tasting.

Cant wait to come back there. A rather perfect coffee place in an unexpected location. The beet quiche is a work of art and the coffee is full of aroma.

Absolutely our favorite coffee shop in town! Best tasting coffee, the Baristas make sure they deliver pretty much absolute perfection! Try their 50/50 coffee, and artichokes sandwich, cant remember the name but also ask for the blue tea latte😍😍😍

Went and got an iced coffee (which was delicious) with my sister we took it to go so we could take my girls (2 yrs 3 yrs and 8 yrs) to the fabulous play ground just behind the building. We ended up staying for almost 3 hours. So cute and clean and the staff was very friendly I would highly recommend.

Limited options but high quality and diverse selection. A few GF options, a few pastries, a couple tea selections and all of the coffee and latte choices. Open with nice greenery, even a meeting room off to the side. Staff is very kind.

Perfect addition to the Switchback family. This location is always slightly calmer and quieter, attached to an old school. Love the open-air feeling and the baristas are always helpful and kind. Fantastic coffee and attention to detail. Latte art and espresso is top notch, plants everywhere, and their breakfast sandwich is delicious. Great alternative to the hustle and bustle of the Shooks Run location!

I love Switchbak Coffee. My wife and Is go to is the Iced Honey Lavendar Latte. Their quiche is amazing too. This location is new, clean and an excellent place to work, visit or relax.

I love this shop. The Butterfly Blue Latte is very unique and the food is always changing. The breakfast sandwich is always 10/10 though! Definitely going back.

Love this addition to the Switchback fam, and the location at Helen Hunt is so cool! As a feature of a local community landmark, the patio space is great for sitting, there’s plenty of off street parking, and their expanded menu of pastries and breakfast sandwiches is very tasty. Located south central in the beautiful Hillside neighborhood, this is a coffee shop in the increasingly crowded coffee shop scene of the Springs that we’ll be returning to.

I luved dis place! All da ladies pet and pet me and fed me Treets! It was grate! Mum did not like her scone, cheddar bacon apple, so she gave it to me! Yes! She also did not like her coffee and made a face (didnt give it to me tho 😔), I wanted to give it 5 stars but mum sed we wouldnt be bak, she loved the atmosphere tho, just wished da coffee and scone were more to her liking. Tell your ppl to go because ders pets and Treets! Grate place!

This place has the best beans Ive found so far. They also make excellent espresso with always 2 options for beans. They dont do dark roast which means better flavor by me. I see they weigh each espresso dose and use tools like ODT to make sure every shot is consistently good.

My husband was craving a scone, any scone, for weeks, and was delighted to find one here when we stopped in after the new Hillside farm market on Sundays. I think it was cherry citrus, and it was quite spectacular. We had coffee and sandwiches that were also a delight, but now Ill only know Switchback as the scone place. :-)Cafe is on a quiet side street, easy parking, a nice reprieve from the hubbub of Tejon Street eateries.

There are two switchback locations and this one is by far my preferred one. Drinks are sweet but never too sweet - unless you want them to be haha, pastries are delicious - some are vegan💗, and staff is amazing. When I go here, I know my drink will be fantastic, I have yet to ever dislike my drink. Please support here and dont forget to tip!!!

This is my favorite spot for coffee! The cafe is cute, clean, and such a great environment to meet up with friends, do homework, or just chill out. Had a meeting canceled and was looking for a cup of coffee and stumbled into Switchback. Wow the breakfast sandwich is really amazing! I would of taken a photo but I gobbled it down. The breakfast sandwich had a mixtures of contrasting flavors and textures that brought a real pleasure while I devoured it.I had a macchiato and it was standard quality that a coffee shop makes, but the sandwich.... yummy!

Switchback coffee has been my favorite coffee shop for years. They roast their coffee beans perfectly (no burning) and their staff is always great. I tried the Hillside location this morning. It was the same great coffee, but they bake their breads and pastries fresh here and the new breakfast sandwich was the best breakfast sandwich Ive EVER had. Fresh and local eggs and sausage with beautiful greens and delicious pickled onions on their freshly baked muffin. If youre looking for the best breakfast in the Springs come to Switchback Hillside!

Located in the historic Helen Hunt school a few blocks west of Memorial park in a quiet residential neighborhood.Good coffee and great food, nice staff. No indoor seating during pandemic 👍Take the kids on a nice day and let them play outside at the playground.

Great Espresso. Great food. Clean, modern environment with lots of space and minimal decor. My only gripe are the chairs chosen for the dining area, the backs are uncomfortable and force you into an interesting sitting position.

Switchbacks institute location has proved itself with a wonderful atmosphere and excellent coffee. However, this new location in the Hillside neighborhood lives up to the quality coffee; cozy and aesthetic location; and its excellence in hospitality the predecessor offers. Their cappuccinos look and taste lovely.

This place is like finding a hidden gem. I only had an iced chai but it was delicious. The staff were super friendly and even offered water after we had finished our drinks and were just seated outside enjoying the atmosphere. Ill definitely be going back.

Switchback Coffee Roasters has done amazing things with their new location! The cardamom and snickerdoodle cookies are my favorite. Theres something for everyone with their espresso drinks, tea, and choose what you pay option for drip coffee.
