This place is nice! Looks like a quiet shop where students can work on projects and enjoy a coffee. I got the cortado.... Very well dialed-in espresso! Wish it was here when I was in college!
A relaxed and upbeat environment. Overall coffee options are fairly limited so didnt expect a Starbucks level of customization and options, but the options they had were quality.
Peak Place is tucked away on a bluff in an area that isnt visible from any road. So this place is heavily reliant on word-of-mouth advertising. It must be working. This place can fill up fast! Plenty of outdoor seating for social distancing. The inside is cozy and comfortable. Friendly service, good coffee and snacks. Arrive early or youll be waiting in line..
Very good coffee, and impressively tasty food. I dont usually go to coffee shops for the food, but I have been pleasantly surprised. Great staff and a good ambiance.
Delicious garden sunrise bagel. Nice, peaceful outdoor seating with mountain views. Serene, cozy interior.
First time in the Springs and Peak Place is the first stop. I absolutely love everything about the place. The service, the food, the coffee, and the vibe! Places like these are rare, where everything just hits the spot. They have a limited menu but it sounds so good. We got the bagel with olive oil and scallions cream cheese. and the breakfast tacos -- better than I expected. Lot of toppings brings a lot of flavor with every bite. Also got a hot latte with hazelnut, and they drew the pretty heart design of course. :) and my other half got americano.Barista was super nice and patient and helped me decide what to get. The vibe in here is everything. First, you have a gorgeous clear view of the mountains. Its quiet enough to come work or take a nap here. There is a couch and some cozy seats. Very soft music. Theres also a private room if you really need to be away from all the happenings-- although its not loud in here in general. We came on a Saturday around 11am. I definitely recommend and would come back.
Very cool, very Colorado coffee house. An agreeable mix of unfinished (intentionally) construction with fixtures out of a warehouse. Tasteful decorations blend well with the raw building materials used as shelves and part of the front counter. The coffee bar itself is modest but the equipment isn’t something people would pay to have in their basements. The baristas greeted a few locals with memorized orders—a very nice personal touch for those who like to frequent the establishment often. The seating was spacious—more so than just about any Starbucks anywhere and plenty of workspace if you’re here to finish your novel, screen play, or presentation for the office. The cappuccino was beautiful and the froth was extremely fluffy. The blend they used for it was mellow but also hit like a punch to the face. This was better than any cappuccino I’ve had at any of the chain places. No drive through so don’t come if you’re in a hurry. Being in a rush would kind of ruin the vibe of the place some plan to spend a few minutes. This place is fantastic and worth the trip despite being in a less-than-spectacular location. They’ll be here for a while if they continue to stick to their current model.
This place is outstanding! Best spot in town. This week my friends and I spent several hours in the meeting space visiting and hanging out. Great food; excellent coffee. Wonderful staff. Highly recommend.
I came here to get some homework done and as soon as I sat down, I realized I forgot my laptop charger at home. I had ordered my sandwich and just got my coffee when I realized this. I asked the barista if he could hold on to my sandwich for about 20 min so I can run home to grab my charger. The barista actually made a fresh sandwich for me when I returned, even though I said I would be perfectly fine with a cold one. Thank you for the great hospitality, sandwich and coffee!!!
Loved my v60, and my wife enjoyed her oat milk cappuccino! Weve only dropped in once but definitely would go back. Lots of space to spread out, and the baristas were super friendly and knowledgable about their roast offerings for pour overs. Always appreciate that.
The coffee here is so comforting and the decor is perfect with great natural light. I adore the espresso used in house and the jugs sold for at home are so tasty. The milk alternatives are also some of my favorite brands! Also the blueberry muffins are dairy free which is perfect for someone with dietary limitations such as mine. Please support them 💖
As my first experience last week (15 April), definitely felt the modern-college-age vibe. Music played was definitely up-beat-jazz (I really enjoy jazz so no complaints there). I got their Espresso Slider (shot of espresso and 8oz. cup of lavender sparkling water); odd pairing, but very good. Espresso is very smooth and strong. Im not a fan of sparkling water, but the lavender flavor is nice. I mixed a bit of the two together - to experiment - that was ok. Wont mix the two again though. Staff is amazing! I ordered To Go, and sat down (which I guess confused the employees - since they served me like a Dine-in customer. Gotta be louder or just not sit next time). Definitely recommend going if youre in the area! Need to go a few more times for a 5-star. But 4-star on first experience!
Super friendly staff. Great coffee every time. Today I had an Ethiopian iced pour over, WOW! My wife had an iced vanilla latte. Great on this warm sunny day.Love that they roast their own beans too. On warm days the open the garage doors which is a huge plus in CO. Nice spaces to work and access to WiFi.BONUS: super clean bathrooms.
Phenomenal coffee at a reasonable price with super nice staff. Great place to study or chat.
This is a great little place for whether you want to work quietly, chat with others, or have a meeting - the reservable small conference room is very useful for small group meetings! The coffee is tasty and I recommend checking out some of their specials - many of their available drinks arent listed on their website menu. I actually love their spiced apple cider! Service is friendly and fast as well. Im not really a fan of the four giant TV screens in the back of one room, but fortunately they dont interfere with conversation elsewhere in the restaurant.
This was a nice chill spot to easedrop on yuppy conversations. Rich people sure have different problems than the rest of us. I had an Americano and it was alright, the best thing really was the baskeball games on each of the 4 large t.v.s they have. You can buy a bunch of beer Ive never heard of but wouldve tried if I had more duckets They also have 2 other rooms that looked mostly unused but Im pretty sure they were conference rooms and you could prolly rent them. Not by phone cuz you get a recording telling you to leave a message because theyve silenced the phone to better serve the customers that are in house
Located right off Academy youll find this gem of a coffeehouse. We held our company staff meeting here in the private room they have available. Great selection of coffees, teas, beer, wine, and a light food menu offer something for all.The inside is somewhat divided up yet spacious and allows the visitor to find an area appropriate to theyre needs.By far and away the best thing going here is the staff! Very friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with.Stop by and check it out, youll enjoy it.
The coffee can be kind of hit or miss here but I do normally enjoy their iced vanilla oatmilk lattes! The staff is nice once you start talking to them but not overly welcoming or friendly. Maybe I just go in when they are too busy! The pastries are good though and so are the breakfast tacos.
All in all a great coffee shop! Staff seems a bit standoffish but they’re polite and professional. I love the atmosphere. All the TVs seem a little odd but different is cool. Would like a few more comfy chairs but I understand it is a small quaint place. They make fantastic drinks! The noise level can be a bit of an issue, perhaps adding a few acoustic panels to the ceiling may help. Just lots of tile and hard ceilings makes the sounds bounce a lot. Definitely plan on spending time here on a regular basis when I need to get away from my home office.
This is a super chill coffee shop tucked back off of Academy Blvd. The atmosphere is cool, internet is fast and the staff is both friendly and helpful. They have pastries from Till, a full menu of coffee drinks and a craft beer menu. Theres and outside patio area with string lights and plenty of parking.
These guys were great with just the right amount of attention. Theres comfortable indoor seating with couches or chairs but also outdoor seating. They let me work as long as I wanted to without constant interruptions but with just enough attention to make sure I had all the food and drinks I wanted. The food and drinks were tasty and reasonably priced and the atmosphere was inviting and clean. I was a lot more comfortable working there than Starbucks and it was very friendly. There was also room for small group study sessions. Ill be back.
Peak Place is not your average coffee shop. From the cozy/chill setup to the staff that go above and beyond, this is a place I have really enjoyed! Of course, the product is important too. The coffee is very good, and they have plentiful option on the menu. Love it.
🤔 There are two mountian views, you will chuckle when you see what I mean if you decide to stop by. The coffee was naturally processed so naturally I was not a fan! haha BUT, for those of you who are fans I hear its worth the try. The kombucha was from a can, yeah. 😑 Modern rustic relaxed atmosphere with corny 90s music 🤔 non-dairy milks which is nice.
I come here for the best Guatemalan pour over coffee Ive ever had. They roast their own beans here. I usually put a little cream and raw sugar in my coffee. But NOT this amazing Guatemalan. Its so exquisite it would be a crime to add anything
This is one of our favorite places to go. My wife and I like how it is well layed out and has a variety of quality bites on the menu. The coffees are from local roasters and the tastes have never let me down. I have only had the home made squares, but they are delicious. The WiFi is strong and secure. Most importantly, the staff is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that they do not have dark roast coffee. For most coffee lovers this is a must!!! Maybe a suggestion box would be helpful for businesses in the first few years.
The iced mocha was fantastic with a nice froth!! The roast beef and cheddar panini is worth $9. A very nice selection of what tastes like a medium cheddar. The bread is savory with not too much grease and a nixe crunch. The roast beef though, that is the best. It has a very nice smokey flavor that is unique and unlike any regular roast beef I have had before. Goes well with the specialty mayonnaise. The apples and peanut dip are a nice healthy side that compliment the sandwich well.Correction: After a bit more intensive of review, I think it could actually be the cheese adding more of the smokey flavor to the sandwich. You be the judge!
They roast their own coffee on sight and it is always very flavorful! Their food options are good too. Kids love their açaí bowls and my husband likes their breakfast tacos.A regular place where we buy our beans and stop of a drink often!
Solid local coffee shop with great espresso. Breakfast tacos are great too!
Ive been here twice now and Im totally enamored by the funky industrial atmosphere and the excellent beverages. I especially love something called a London Fog which is actually pretty standard in coffee houses, but hard to do well. Its Earl Grey tea and steamed milk/cream, but these guys do it PERFECT.
Quality coffee and fresh baked goods. Nice local place to enjoy a cup of coffee and a snack
The best coffee in Springs by far. You really cant beat the atmosphere. I wish it was located in town differently but truly an awesome spot.
I have been a regular here for years and can’t recommend this place enough. Great coffee and food, plus a super friendly staff and comfy atmosphere. Best coffee shop in the springs!
Great place! Quiet with a good amount of space to work. Inside outside options and kind people work here. My caramel hot chocolate was delicious! Thank you guys for everything I really appreciate it.
Good coffee. Nice quiet place to visit with friends or work!
Food were delicious.
I accidentally show up to work 2 hours early and was looking for somewhere to kill a couple hours and get coffee maybe some food and much to my delight I discovered Peak Place. Ordered the egg & cheddar with tomato sandwich which comes on a lovely sourdough and a vanilla latte. Good food & coffee, friendly staff, comfortable seating and great music... Pikes Place is a win no matter what your looking for.
Peppermint Mocha latte blows Starbucks out of the water. The food menu looks great too, I can’t wait to come back for breakfast.
Great coffee and always friendly staff! I used to go here to do homework and remote working. I would usually get a black coffee or an iced tea. I have never had a bad experience. The food menu is small, but it always hits the spot.
We have a lot of fantastic coffee in the Springs, but these guys take real pride in keeping a remarkably flavorful espresso *perfectly* dialed in. Everyone remembers me. I can let down from work and pick up our conversation from days past. Always a great time. Love to come by, have great coffee, chat, and either work or relax. Great spot for meeting with folks too.
I am very picky about my coffee, so I only buy it from places I know serve good quality coffee. Scooters Coffee is my go-to place when Im craving a delicious hot lattè. The service is impeccable, too! If you want fantastic coffee and high-quality service, go to Scooters. Remember to ask about their incentives! Ive gotten several free drinks just in the past month, and Im looking forward to receiving my shirt I received as a reward!
Y’all this is the spot! Vinny and team are so good to everyone who comes in. You feel like family ❤️ my wife and I also buy wholesale from them to sell at our shop in Peyton and their quality is second to none. Love, love, love, this place!!!
Not the Pennys I grew up to know
Very inviting people and space!
Our new favorite local coffee place
Latte and scone were delicious. Super awesome staff and service:)
If youre looking for coffee around the 5500 block of Academy, there are two spots with similar names relatively close to another. YOU WANT THIS ONE! Not the pikes perk...you want the peak place. Friendly staff, coffee that tastes like coffee, and average prices for the springs. Again, you want this place...not pikes perk.
My favorite thing to order here is the iced latte with lavender syrup. I know sounds like a strange combo but its great. Ive tried multiple food items and all have been good, especially their breakfast tacos. Great staff and clean quiet environment.
Excellent. Excellent staff, drinks, and food. Drinks: I can particularly attest to deliciousness the pourover coffee, Americano, and spicy chai. Food: GF apple muffin & sweet potato chorizo hash are personal favorites. I have not been for beer/wine, but the fact that they offer quality beer is one of many pluses in my book.
Best coffee in COS!
Best Coffee In the Springs
Ive been coming here for years, and realized Id never taken the time to review it. Five stars for staff, five star for coffee, five stars for ambience. Love this place.
Had THE best latte Ive had in Colorado since coming back in January. Everyone out here makes a dry, too hot cappuccino and calls it a latte. Brandon made a luscious, sweet, delicious latte and I will be going out of my way to return for it. Great beers on tap and the quiche of the day was tasty. An absolute must for anyone in the area looking for national gold star quality espresso drinks.
I really liked this place untill this morning. I was there drinking a Cup of coffee with a friend. When I walked back in to get a refill, the woman behind the counter was serving and chatting with a group of people and no one wore a mask, including the woman behind the counter counter.IRRESPONSIBLE
My go-to for meetings whether serious, fun, or friendly. The peppermint hot chocolate is great!
Solid coffee shop with a few food options.Ive generally been happy with their pour-over selection (they also offer other brew methods by request), but there is some inconsistency with the espresso. There are some bottled/canned beer options, largely craft, as well as affordable wine.Food plates are mostly snacks, nothing fancy. The service is excellent. The staff here is really friendly and chipper, and its easy to get into a conversation at the bar or go be alone in the different nooks around the space. TVs play a few different channels on one wall which is easily avoided. The prices tend to be quite reasonable, probably a hair less expensive than the other craft coffee options in the Springs. Wait times are short. This place is quite apparently Christian-run, giving it a pseudo hipster vibe.
Does not offer anything for veterans or service members!
Loved it! The drinks and food are fabulous, and service is awesome! Patio is great! My only complaint is that the funeral home blocks much of the view, but not really much they can do about that. :)
Had a business meeting here and was super impressed with both the atmosphere and customer service! The coffee was great, nice that they had some sugar free options! It was a lot more spacious than it looks from the outside and even has a small private room with a small conference table. The restrooms were clean and the place didnt get mad house crowded like Starbucks. The noise volume was relatively low and the service was fast with a painless payment process. Barista took my coffee to order, even though I was standing right there, just that extra touch. Great experience, I will be back!
Nice friendly place.
My favorite coffee shop to go to for any occasion! I go there to work solo and sit at the bar or grab a table. Its great for meeting people for coffee or food. They have great food selections. There is a separate half called the library that has some comfy lounge chairs and is for people working quietly. They have couches in the back with 4 flat screens where you can watch games or whatever you like. The coffee is phenomenal, the baristas are stellar, the atmosphere tranquil and perfect for any occasion. I have also gone to one of their live band performances on Friday night, and it was so fun! They have wine in the evenings. A very versatile place for all your coffee shop needs.
I went to study. Busy place for being a Monday at 2p. Only one table open. I got an Americano a bit bitter. Coconut milk Vanilla Latte last time was perfect, not too sweet. Staff was friendly. Music was louder than I would like for studying but I like white noise. Too each their own. The decorative design is trendy and warm. Need to try their cheese plate, 🍺, 🍷 as it all looks good.
One of the best oat milk lattes in town. Good acai bowls.
Service was a little slow, but extremely nice, and just the right amount of chatty. I’m a little miffed that they are literally charging 5 bucks for a can of beer, that’s a bit much. Inside the building was really cool and noise level was good while I was there. Brewed Java coffee was perfect! I hope to go back soon and try some of there food. Overall very enjoyable.
The coffee is great, the people are great, and the customer service is great. My wife and I buy all of our coffee here. All of their coffee is good but our favorite is the House Blend.
Great menu but I applied a few years ago and they told me they dont hire women and were very rude about it. First impressions are important!
It was my first time at Peak Place and the atmosphere was great! The service was wonderful and the beer was amazing! The environment was chill and the food was yummy!!
Had a small issue, but they were quick to communicate with me. It really impressed me how they strive for a perfect experience. I will be very excited to go again and do another review of this place with another 5 stars. Great customer service! Very professional. Im definatly happy and cant wait for my next visit.
This is always my go to place to meet up with friends or just grab a coffee and read. Good book. Eggnog Latte! This was an excellent choice!
Coffee and drinks are well done and staff is always smiling. Venue itself is a little offbeat indoors, but the patio is nice and has some great mountain views. Great place to sample local roasters products.
Peak Place serves incredible coffee and food. The owners are some of the best people you could meet. They have made the shop and area around it look and feel amazing. Peak Place offers a downtown feel and creative synergy in an unassuming location, which breathed life into the area. Peak Place topps off all the hard work put into the wellness strip mall they created with surrounding businesses. They also provide recreation space for people with disabilities in the area. I cant say enough about Peak Place and what Grace and Family have done for that area and the Springs.
I love this place! Great coffee, friendly/knowledgeable staff... Thank you SO much for helping me twice! I met two of my friends here to ask them to be my bridesmaids for my wedding. I made a coffee cup that read Will you be my bridesmaid? & asked the kind gentlemen that was working that day to bring out their order in the mug I made. Both of my friends cried & was SO happy!!Thanks for helping make it a great surprise! :-)
Very pleasant casual place. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent coffee! Tasty treats. Good speakers w/good music not too loud and not too soft! Seems to attract a friendly crowd. Love this place.
Accidentally found this place and so glad I did. They are friendly with good coffee and nice atmosphere. I go every Tuesday with a group of moms and kids. They are nice to our kids as well (and some days kids dont cooperate). My only complaint, I had been going there for several months before finding out they had a rewards program and it was another mom who told me. I tell everybody about this place. It is a diamond in the rough. Great study place. Great meeting place. Great hang out place. Great food. We need more places like this in the Springs!!
Cool space with some good food options. A little hard to see from the road if you dont know where it is, but its back there! The staff is super friendly too. I wasnt the biggest fan of my espresso, but Ive only been once. It could have been a fluke, or I may just be a bad judge of espresso.
What a neat concept they have here - coffee bar by day & regular bar by night. Their happy hour applies to both the coffees & beers from 4-6pm! They have decorated it very modern. Their restrooms are both uni-sex & are very clean. I definitely recommend this place!
Favorite coffee shop in Colorado! Great location—Pikes Peak in full view—and awesome atmosphere. Perfect place to connect with friends or set up shop to do your work for that day. Friendly staff who make you feel at home and a clean environment.
Wonderful coffee shop all around! I lead a womens Bible study and we have used their conference room. The staff are always super friendly and on top of things. They have accommodated us very well. We have been very pleased with the food and drinks as well.
Friendly staff, great food, great coffee. What more can you ask for?
Love the atmosphere and the coffee is great. Only issue is that I was trying to get some work done and the employees were very loud! Im not opposed to having fun at work but I could hear them over my music being turned all the way up. I either need noise canceling headphones or they need to turn it down a few notches. Please dont make me start going to the Starbucks down the road.
I love Peak Place! Their servers are always very friendly, outgoing, and helpful. The coffee is wonderful. The food and craft beers are top notch. And there is frequent live music by local artists! Perfect place to hang out.
The baristas were very nice, patient, and even brought a bottle of water to the table free of charge. The spiced chai was also delicious.
Love this place. Great coffee, good beer selection and cocktails, and during the day it’s a nice place to work on a laptop. Love the sweet potato shepherd’s pie, although it’s sometimes a little skimpy on the portions. Also we really like happy hour, although you have to be careful with the free kettle corn (it’s addictive)
Great location and great service! Those two things combined with with great coffee makes it a place another great place in COS to get your Java fix.
Handpicked and lovingly crafted coffee, beer and wine. Many local flavors. Staff are down to earth and friendly. The owner is frequently involved in store operations and can even be seen sweeping the floor! Tastings, craft fairs, live music and late hours. This place is a coffee community lovers dream.
Down to earth and knowledgeable staff. Great selection on all drinks. Very relaxed atmosphere
Wonderful place and nice staffAfter three years, I can say that this place is still wonderful.
One of the best, if not the best, coffeehouses in Colorado Springs.Atmosphere is perfect, music selection is usually great, and they have excellent food, alcohol, and other drinks for all you crazy people who arent obsessed with coffee.Their hours are also better than 95% of the places in the region, and they have a reservable conference room for small meetings and events. When marriage to coffee becomes legal, Im choosing Peak Place to host my wedding. It will be beautiful. There will be tears of joy. We will have an open coffee bar.
I swing by this place once or twice a week. It is adjacent to my office building. I really like what they have going on here: great coffee, craft beer, community support, etc...Everyone is always really pleasant.I wish it were busier, this place deserves it. Ive been meaning to make it out to one of their events they hold at night. Maybe someday soon!Check this place out!
The ambience and setting of this place is very modern feeling. The coffee is excellent. Try the cold brew for unique experience. Ive not been there for beer and wine. The snacks are also good.
