Starting off I was a little skeptical. I had been trying to sell my truck privately before the folks at Phil Long ValuCar reached out to me to bring it in for an appraisal. Pulling up I was worried that the price wouldnt even come close to my expectations, but boy was I wrong lol. I normally dont do shout outs however Julie and Ben made the process so easy from start to finish. Ensuring that all my needs where meet, and that the price was fair and shh dont tell them way more than I ever thought I would get from a dealer lol. Do not waste your time with these guys. Extremely unprofessional, and less than useless. Aaron Visage sold me an extended warranty saying I can use it anywhere, but the sheister failed to mention I could do that only if Phil Long would release the vehicle, which they refused to do. I then had to take it to the jokers at the Phil Long service department, and they take an eternity to get started. Good luck getting a hold of anyone there, I called for two days and just kept getting transferred around to anything but the service department. I finally get my car back, and the work isnt even done! They didnt reattach the exhaust and left bolts out so the first bump I go over the exhaust come apart, they didnt tighten the bolts on the transmission mount, and if I wasnt mechanically savvy it could have lead to catastrophic failure. Id love to bring these clowns to court but I dont want to waste another second with this garbage group.

So a friend had recommended Phil Long on Academy after a ridiculous incident at another dealership. Anyway I walked over to the Academy store after work one day and got asked what I was looking for and typical questions when buying a car. So the all the staff are down to earth and very understanding along with being empathetical to your needs and situation. So Jeremy and Kalib brainstormed some options of my interests along with some good fits of their own within my budget and miles, long story short we found a car that night and with not the best of credit the deal was still able to happen with a little money down, but i was unable to get insurance so they offered me a ride home so I wasnt walking in the cold or walking at all so Trevor gave me a lift. Very grateful for that. Next day came in with insurance and they filled my tank and Cliff finalized the paperwork and it was all handshakes and smiles! The BEST dealership experience Ive ever had. I highly recommend anyone to go there and sit down with one of their hard working staff members. Oh and they know know how to order a lunch along with many good food suggestions in the area. I was involved in a wreck that totaled by car and After about three weeks of being hassled and not given the time of day by several dealers- I got in contact with Julie Dube Who was very attentive and helped me get into a truck despite my bad credit she was kind, and informative and very responsive. Thenothe stress that you normally experience on the hand off to the finance department was alleviated by Cliff Isaacs, who likewise was cordial and helped me good a good deal considering the aforementioned bad credt. Cumulatively, they both did an excellent in making my car buying experience painless, I would definelty recommend them to anyone!

Bought my car from Ford of Chapel Hills. A couple of repairs needed to be done to the car. Phil Long took care of the costs for me, but this shop, specifically Troy and Will both were awesome. Diagnosed the issue, ordered the part, and over delivered on the repair. The best part of this experience was the shop delivered my car to me at my workplace. Big ups to that girl that delivered my car. I didnt get your name, but thank you so much for bringing my car to my workplace. They said they would get my part on Thursday at noon, except Will called me on Thursday at 11:00 am and told me my car was finished. Im sure there was some stragegery there. But it made for a really fantastic customer experience. Theres no better feeling than knowing youre not just a number! Thanks guys. I appreciate you.
I like to do my shopping online and then just use the dealership for a test drive and make sure the vehicle meets my expectations. I dealt with Kalib by email and text and he was always prompt in answering any questions I had (I cant say the same for some of the other dealerships I was dealing with in the area.) One of things Kalib did that I really appreciated was, after my inquiry about a vehicle that wasnt showing up online on their website, he emailed me a personalized video showing the car on the lot and going over its features. When I met him to look at vehicles he didnt seem to be your stereotypical pushy salesman either, which was really nice. Id definitely work with him again on my next auto purchase.

I drive up from Pueblo, so you are not close. If it were not for the personal service of Kalib I dont know that I would continue to drive 45 minutes for my service. I have not had the pleasure of meeting any of the service techs, but I can say that my car is clean when I get and I have not had to bring it back, so they are doing a good job. I highly recommend Phil Long ValuCar on Academy. I was VERY particular regarding my choices for a vehicle. I worked with Melissa, who I would recommend to anyone looking for a vehicle that wants to be treated like royalty. It just so happened that the two vehicles (Outback or 4runner) I was looking for are hard to find in decent used condition with low miles and fair price, but Melissa found me the perfect vehicle!!! She stood by me for months, and searched for vehicles everyday. I could have easily gone to another dealership but being treated so wonderful was worth the wait. I was able to trade my vehicle in for a fair price, got the car I wanted which I now LOVE, and Dave and Tony were able to get me approved at a good rate with a reasonable payment. I have never experienced a dealership like this one and will continue to refer friends and family who are looking for a vehicle to Melissa. Albert, the GM is also the nicest guy and it is obvious that he and his team actually care about building relationships with their customers and less about making a buck.

This dealership may be a little rough around the edges but their sales people will go above and beyond to deliver a respectful and honest car buying experience. The worked with us for days to get us the deal that worked for us and with very less than perfect credit and limited time (we live an hour away). They were courteous, funny, stayed late, worked late, etc to put me at ease with the whole car buying process. I am so grateful to them for the entire experience.

They were so friendly and helpful to me. I went in with a sinking heart because I knew my credit was bad, and wouldnt likely get a workable deal. Not only did they work with me, no one even batted an eye at my score. They treated me like a person who had a 750 score. That alone blew me away. But what really set my heart about this dealership, was the car I picked out. It turned out that the listing was incorrect, showing the car as an automatic, when it is really a manual. Now, I havent touched a standard shift in about 20 years, and even that was minimal because I was learning to drive. I accepted my car anyway, figuring its a skill I might as well acquire. Leo (whom I was working with) was kind enough to offer that I could practice in their back parking lot with another associate before I took my car home. This is definitely a great place to get a car from, and be treated like a human being, not a dollar sign.

Went in not intending to buy, worked with sales staff very professional and welcoming. tested about 5 cars, landed on one that mostly met my needs. took it home did not feel that the car fit me that well contacted sales to grab some options that i thought would work better for me and changed to a car that gives me that excitement that the other car did not give me and still worked within the budget that i was willing to spend. i feel like they went out of their way to make sure i was getting something that worked for me and made me happy.
Bear dealership I have been to in 2 years there all mangers and they help you no matter your time limit or how much time, I walked in not thinking much of it only went in to see what they could offer as soon as I was in the door kalib loy stood up greeted me and asked me what I wanted he got right to business and also joked around not being so serious, I didnt buy the car Im in till 3 days later because I wanted to think it over and they were all great, they accepted what I wanted to do know the trouble I was in with other dealerships screwing me over and gave me an amazing deal I will recommend this to anyone i meet

I came in today looking for a specific Make and Model that I had seen on the website. Unfortunately it had been sold but my Salesman Aaron was able to let me test drive a trade in they had recently gotten that was the same make model and year with less miles then the previous car. Thrilled I took it for a spin, it hadnt hit there shop quiet yet so there were slight issues that were quickly fixed. Albert was able to work with me and my budget and Im thrilled to say that Im a new car owner as of today, my car was fixed and ready to go by the time my financing paper work was filed. Ill send anyone I know here first, Ill be a return customer for sure. Loved it.

They let me take the car for a long test drive. Matthew pulled carfax report without me even asking! Heather, the manager, worked to find me the right terms and the financing was simple. I love my new car!
If I could give this place a negative star I definitely would. My fiance and I were basically told what car we can get, which was only one out of the many dealerships they have. The sales person and his manager was such in a hurry to sell us the car we fill out paperwork the same day with their finance manager, who had no idea what he was doing but made us believe he did. 2 months after we signed the paperwork for the loan to go thru the bank the sales rep called us to come back because of issues with the paperwork. We went back more than enough times. At the end of it all, the finance manager screwed up all the paperwork and was supposedly fired because he screwed a lot of peoples paperwork up. The new fiance manager, who bragged about doing this job for years was very unprofessional and doesnt return your calls but is requesting the same paperwork as the first finance manager. I called the new finance manager multiple times to verify I was submitting the correct paperwork but he never returned my calls and when I told him I called him and left messages he asked me what does that have to do with anything and hung up on me. I work in customer service and this place is by far the most unprofessional irresponsible group of people I have been went to. I see only positive reviews get a response from the owner but negative review dont get any type of response. I see where the employees get their customer service. Nobody can own up to the mistakes multiple people have made and everybody hands your problem off to someone else.
I would recommend this location to anyone who wants to sell a car. He is fair and reasonable. We had to sell our deceased brothers car and the subsequent service we received was awesome.

Had very bad experience at your dealership and will not be coming back. The dealer that I worked with not only Kept trying to push me towards a car but also was trying to double his profit by telling me the car was worth more then it is actually valued At and he went on to tell me the car was more then even the website listed it. I do not appreciate how cocky he was and how he tried to weasel his way into having me buy a car; I came in there fully trusting you guys to help me get a car and I left in tears without a car

For me, this process to purchase a new car started four months ago when I contacted TEN dealerships. All ten new I would purchase a car in December but only seven wanted to start a dialog with me on my process. By the end of November, only three were trying to get my business and ValuCar was one of the three. My dad was a car dealer for over 30 years and his success was based on repeat business. Two of the three dealerships left standing wanted to move inventory off there a lot and have me settle for less than I was asking for. I only know your dealership through one man Kalib, he made the sale for you. Kalib went out and found cars I was looking to purchase. I told everyone the magic amount off MSRP that would make the deal fly and he found a very slick way of getting there (you have a good employee here). If Kalib is just one example of your team, then your a great dealership.

We went looking for a commuter car today and ended up at the tent sale in the broadmore world arena. We ran into Ashley straight away and she found us a good car at a good price. This is the second time we have purchased from Phil Long and have been treated great each time.
This place is awful. They sold my boyfriend and I are Subaru Impreza that had a broken head gasket. We brought it in for them to fix every month for almost a year until the engine finally blew. When we traded it for a new car, they tacked on half of the loans to the Subaru onto our new loans. After trading the Subaru in for a Chevrolet Equinox, we were told it went through an inspection but we wanted a second inspection just to be sure. And of course, a month later the car went through the entirety of its oil. We brought it back month after month, as we did with the Subaru. They told us the Equinox was fine and that going through all of the oil every week and a half was just a Chevy thing. Come to find out though multiple third party inspections that it had multiple oil leaks, the head gasket was broken, the piston and rings were broken, and the catalytic converter. They refused to fix anything that they sold us. They treat their customers poorly and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. My boyfriend and I are now paying on $14,000 worth the loans for a car we cant even drive. Thanks for nothing, Phil Long.

The reseptionist was very friendly, and was a better salesman than Mike in the short time I talked to her. Mike, the salesman, acted like my business was not valued, did not even try to sell me a car, was rude, and was generally unhelpful.
They were open and clear about the price and I was for a mediocre car to save money and they put me in a nice car for that same price.but the car they sold me had problems beforehand and didnt tell me. And lucky for them, 60 days after I bought the car, the engine seized.be sure to check the car at a different dealer or mechanic shop before you commit to buying a car here.

Honestly, this place ahould get 0 stars..I was played at this dealership. I was told I was approved and everything. Signed papers and had documents stating the car was mine.. let me take the car home and they told me that we dont have anyone to finance you.. lets put you in a different car. I will never trust a Phil long dealership. They also screwed my best friend several years before. I thought to give them a chance but true showed me that they like to screw people over. Suggestion dont drive the car off the lot before financing first!

When I bout my Ford Escape there was some bright green debris on one of the seat belts. They told me to take it in to the service shop and they would either clean it off or replace the whole belt. I took it in Saturday morning and was told it would be done by that evening. I never received a call from them. So at 6 pm we went down there. The service shop was closed and everyone from that department had left. One of the sales reps showed us to our car, but didnt know where the keys were to take it. The service shop had taken black spray paint and painted over the green debris instead of cleaning it up! My car interior is grey!!! Now theres paint all over the plastic trim, side of the seat and carpet!!! ...... And now I have to wait until Monday to talk to anyone about it.
Excellent customer service and the guys at Value Car were willing to go the extra mile to get us in a car we could afford and were happy with. Would definitely recommend these guys for your next car purchase.

This was the worst car buying experience Ive ever had. I made it very clear what I had to put down and what my price range was, which wasnt impossible to work with. The sales lady Mandy did not take any of that into consideration, she made it very obvious she was only looking out for herself. She was horrible. I understand its her job, however some understanding and empathy could go a long way. She acted like it was a contest she was trying to win, and not mine and my familys livelihood on the line. Needless to say, I happily purchased a vehicle elsewhere.
Dave and Aaron have been so patient and so helpful! I had bought a car from them originally, was in an accident and went back to get a new car and they helped me through every little hiccup that hit us and worked with me to make sure I was taken care of and that i got into a car that i was satisfied with. From the moment we drove onto the lot we impressed with our experience. Ronnie Rawdon was outside on the lot; however, he didnt attack like MANY car salesman. He simply let us browse and waited for us to ask him. Once we decided this was the truck we needed he went the extra mile to help us and spent the better part of a day(we were not an easy sale) Then came financing, Chris went above and beyond to get the best financing for us.
