Best car buying experience ever!!

I had believed the old car dealership games of decades ago were over. Even the Japanese car dealerships have largely given up that approach. It is alive and well, however, at Genesis of Colorado Springs. They get one more star than they otherwise would, simply because I understand that they cannot get many cars (Jun 2021), so they have to make a ton of profit on each one in order to stay afloat. I loathe the experience of having them dance around the question of pricing until theyve wasted half your day trying to get you emotionally invested and committed to buying without knowing the cost.They eventually came up with pricing that was ~$12k (20%) too high. If youre willing to start that far apart and haggle for hours while they play the back and forth game with the Sales Manager, have at it. Ill just wait until the shortage is over and go to Albuquerque or Denver. Or just go with a different brand if this experience is just the culture of the Genesis brand, like is was with the Japanese brands in the 90s & 00s.

Terrible customer service. I’m trying to schedule a simple oil change and had to call them 4 times!! So far they can’t compete with real luxury brands.
