I LOVE THIS PLACE! Lynn is just the sweetest and she has a book for EVERYTHING and for EVERYONE! She has a homeschooling discount and she even has classes if you follow her online. Even a whole shelf of the decorative collectors classics! 🙌😍💕

Walking into A Likely Story is the nearest thing to being Belle in the bookstore of her quiet provincial village; all one’s favorite stories are beautifully displayed and curated by a fellow book lover who desires nothing more than to share the adventures, truth and beauty found in the written word.This quiet gem is just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of downtown Colorado Springs and is the type of place which makes one nostalgic for vibrant downtown shopping of old.I clearly adore the atmosphere of this little bookstore, but I especially love the opportunity to shop locally and support a female-owned small business. A Likely Story is one of my favorite gift card choices to share with my friends and family both a beautiful book and a unique shopping experience.

I love this bookstore! 😍 It’s in a fun area in downtown Colorado Springs. Parking is easy, directly in front of it. There are adult and children’s books. Plus, the owner is awesome and can order in anything you’re looking for!

Such a cute place. They didnt have what I wanted but ordered it (cheaper than I could get online, benefit to wanting to just support local). Will def shop again.

A Likely Story is a beautifully, quaint bookstore in the heart of Colorado Springs. The staff and owner are friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a previous homeschooler, I would have loved to have such a well-stocked bookstore nearby. The owner also homeschooled her children and is a wealth of knowledge in that area. The adult area has the latest and greatest in book club fare. I love visiting A Likely Story very chance I get. It’s currently my favorite downtown spot!

A Likely Story is basically the bookshop from Youve Got Mail. The kids books are stunning; there are books here I havent seen since I was little! The adult section is awesome too, it takes all my strength not to spend every dollar I have here.
