Im definitely biased since UCCS is my alma mater, and I work on campus. But this is a great little university bookstore! In addition to selling books for college courses, they have a nice variety of snacks, drinks, and UCCS-branded merchandise. But my favorite part is the section of reasonably priced art and office supplies!

The workers were very helpful, the cashier I had was very sweet. My biggest issue was how unhelpful the textbook purchaser was and how much the prices of the textbooks went up. She was very cold to me, and if given the option I would not request her help again.

Got information my order was filled so I went in to get it, but it was no where to be found. So, they said Ill get your books for you, how nice. Not really, he then came back with only one of my book and told me the other ones were unavailable, also mentioned to me that the version I wanted wasnt available and said its only a small difference for this one compared to the one that was COMPLETED in my order but this book was double the price. DONT TELL ME MY BOOKS ARE READY IF ITS NOT!

Pretty decent book store. The staff (mostly students) are super friendly and will literally stop what theyre doing to help you. The prices are fair and basically everything a student needs can be found there. Totally recommend it.

Cashier was rude and to top it off I live in another city and wasnt able to drive up to take my books on the day the rental was up. I call prior to see if they can give me an extra day the women bluntly told me No, I will be charged so I drove up in the cold with my toddler and sick at that just to return the book only to find out due to holidays they are granting people extra time. WOW, terrible customer service from these Kids they have working there, please be more knowledgeable and more Friendly. Charged me for a book that had no damage other than what was given to me when I rented it and said I caused water damage, which was so not true because I ended up using a digital copy for my class and this book was put on my shelf the whole semester, what a rip off and thats not right to do this to students.

Went in to ask about books for a course. Everyone was very helpful but the books they said were required for the course, werent needed at all. And there is a restocking fee per book, I can walk to book back to the shelf and save $5 per.

Ive been going to UCCS and this bookstore throughout my undergraduate and graduate degrees. They offer very low buy-back prices, but they have a great selection of energy drinks and freezer foods. 4 stars because they dont sell the gold cans of ginger ale Rockstar anymore, which was the best energy drink around...

They said my books were ready and by the time I went to pick it up they said they didn’t even have the book in store at all. Books have been on back order for over a week. UCCS, please don’t tell people their books are ready when they are in fact not.

They have helped me find everything I needed for all my degrees constantly, they should be so proud of every department working as a well oiled machine. Chemistry department is the best though. Lol

The Bookstore on campus is awesome. The staff is great, the clothing is always current and fashionable, and the prices are reasonable. The bookstore also gives back profits to the students!

There was only one worker who seemed to know what they were doing and went out of their way to be helpful. Everyone else that I ran into was reluctant to help or actively avoided people looking around. If I asked a question, the most frequent response was, I dont know, and no further assistance. Overall, I was just really disappointed in the customer service

Staff is friendly, but supplies are a overpriced. Books are also pretty expensive but the used ones are pretty cheap. Nice to be able to stop by and get some snacks and drinks between classes. They have a stand for small toiletries/medicines, and a stand for scantrons. Hours vary between semesters.

Always helpful. Great for being able to pick up last minute school supplies, or when you feel like you need something specific while you are on campus.

The staff is usually quite friendly, and UCCS employees get a 10% discount. Lots of food and drink options. Prices tend to be high, but thats expected. Its always clean. Usually its not hard to find what youre looking for, but the staff is helpful if youre struggling.

Yuck. This place is notorious for never having what you need. Plus, its a waste to get books here since they charge easily 2x what you can get then for on Amazon or elsewhere.

Pure alphabetical order for texts making it more difficult to find products.Some prices are competitive, most are not and you would be better served going to Wal-Mart and checking out Amazon.

The store policies are unreasonable here and customer service is unreliable. Ive never rented from here because their prices arent competitive with Amazon and Chegg. Out of the three times Ive purchased books, theyve backordered them (which I dont find out until I show up to pick them up). Clothing is overpriced.Edit: I showed up to the bookstore to pick up a book that they claimed was ready for pickup. When I arrived, they told me it had been backordered. I then waited two weeks for the book to come to the store. I eventually called and was told that it was available. I never received an email like I was supposed to because they sometimes type email addresses in incorrectly. To top it all off, the price I paid for the book was no longer accurate and they wanted to charge me double what they originally said it would be because they sold out of used copies. Silly me for thinking theyd actually compete with Amazons prices and customer service.I was then told that it wasnt their fault that they had sold out of used copies and that they were charging new-copy prices.

I am surprised how unprofessional the management of the bookstore is. Only good thing I have to say is that the student employees have good mannerism.

Well organized and the people are helpful.

Worst college bookstore I have dealt with. They refuse to take returns of unopened, wrapped books WITH a receipt, within the first week of classes. Also refused to do in store credit or an exchange of any kind. When I asked why, the middle aged, not college student, employee rudely replied, “you can’t just hold on to a book and then decide you don’t want it and return it.” The whole thing is a scam, they tell you the book is required for your class, but your instructor says otherwise and suddenly you’re out $80 with a book you can’t use. THANKS UCCS!

Professional staff and the books are overpriced of course. They are decently stocked if you shop early for your college courses.

I witnessed them charging almost every single student in line returning their used rentals the full price of the book for “water damage.” Seriously? Some of these books were never even opened. Way to SCAM your students. Do not rent from them! Use Chegg.
