Amazing store and perfect for the kids under 10. It reminds me a little of Disneyland, plenty to do for the kids. Admission was free but we’ll leave a nice donation. There’s also 2 story tube slide for the kids (totally safe and monitored by attendants at the top and bottom.

A great big Christian books store! Comprehensive collections of books, audio and video pertaining to all things biblical. The whole family found plenty of delightful materials to peruse.

If youre a fan of Adventures in Odyssey, its definitely worth the trip. Young kids will like the play areas, but my teens are big enough fans that they enjoyed the memorabilia. Whits End ice cream shop was pretty neat, and the staff was very friendly. If youre in Colorado Springs, dont miss it.

So much FREE fun! The kids love coming here because there is so much to do and explore for a range of ages. Double check before you go what the hours of the 4 story slide are as it seems to vary.

Odyssey fans since the 80s!! Now my kids love it!! The whits end section is free to visit and so worth it! Fun scavenger hunt for the kids and KYDS radio where you can record short Odyssey clips. So about the book store: They have a lot of good conservative merchandise for reasonable prices. Nice selection of fiction and non fiction for kids AND adults!! Too much to write about in a short review!! Awesome and friendly staff!! Very very highly recommended! We will drive back from Nevada to go here again!!

For being a hate group. Parents: have fun when your kids need real therapy for the “teachings” thought here. Better yet. They turn 18 and never talk to you again! Clowns.

This is such an amazing gem in Northern Colorado Springs! So many fun things for the kids to explore and do. If you come in the summer, stop at the front desk early to grab a recording slot for KYDZ radio. 3rd grade readers and up can record a 10 minute Adventure in Odyssey episode. There are 2 speaking parts and a sound effects role that can be filled by kids and their parents.

Ive always loved this place! Witts end is so much fun for little kids and even adults! Free fun playplace with a super fun slide that is two or three stories high. Soda shop is a fun place to get an ice cream or even have lunch and at a pretty good price.

Pretty great bookstore! Wide selection of Children’s books, which we came to see. It was nice to flip through the books themselves, as it helped me determine which books were most appropriate for my 2 year old. Sometimes in-store shopping beats online shopping!

Great family friendly place to visit. As super fans of Adventures in Odyssey, our kids especially enjoyed the kids section - Whits End for delicious treats, the scavenger hunt, exploring the playground area, the recording studio, and we also enjoyed the movie about the mission of Focus in the Family. The giant slide was the kids favorites. All the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Toms of family fun! So many rooms to explore and make new memories in. Puppet dolls, a play stage and even a side shop, cool!

So awesome! Feel confident and proud to bring my kids to this Christian fun play place. Clean nice people. Fun big slide for kids, and activities and really artistic things to look at every corner. The ice cream is fun to add toppings and yummy. I would say the thing that bothers me is I’ve seen some people leave their trash like water bottles and the papers for the scavenger hunt but overall it is really clean. It shows the people who manage this facility really care.

Three of our kiddos, ages 6, 8 and 10 had TONS of fun! We got ice cream from Whits End, did a scavenger hunt, but I think the favorite thing was the long curly slide. They loved that! The bookstore was impressive as well, but the prices seemed a bit high.

Nice place to get Christian books

Called to ask a question. The woman who answered the phone was loud and brash and felt free to speak to me with an attitude of superiority. Statements seemed to end with exclamation points, and between that and her tone she was clearly yelling at me. Arrogant, nasty. When I told her that yelling at me was not OK, from a Christian organization, her response was Well I think YOU are rude!!!!! Hello? For standing up for myself? I asked for her boss. it took along time for him to get to the phone. I told him she was yelling at me, and he replied I was standing right here. No, he wasnt. They feel free to yell, lie, accuse....all in the name of God? I am disgusted, and I see why the world hates Christians.

What an amazing place with so much creativity. It was an honor to visit and see the history of this great organization. Ohh yeah, and the kids had a phenomenal time.

What a neat experience! Seeing Whitt’s End is something the adults have wanted to do for a very long time. The kids will remember it and it will give context and familiarity to the Adventures in Odyssey stories they hear. The rooms are fun and engaging and the bookstore and exhibits are enjoyable and educational. We loved our visit. Be sure to do a recorded radio program to keep as a souvenir!

This is a great place, the bookstore has a wide selection and the visitors center provides a fascinating look at focus on the Familys history and mission. And the food at the Soda Shoppe is amazing, especially the Wod-Fam-Sod, the adventures in Odyssey attractions are great and the staff are warm and friendly

So many books from Christian authors! Plus a large selection of Adventures in Odyssey.

This place was so fun! I especially appreciate that it was FREE. There was so much to do and my kiddos ages 6mos to 11 were fully entertained for hours. Quick tip: kids can star in their own radio broadcast, but you have to make a reservation at the front desk. Do this as soon as you arrive for more time slot availability. And the soda shoppe has real food in addition to ice cream and sweets, and it is pretty affordable. Lastly, so many resources both free and in the bookstore for raising a family that follows the Lord. We look forward to going back soon!

Friendly staff. Willing to accommodate requests as they can (e.g. mac and cheese and soup in the same bowl). Definitely a family friendly atmosphere with no judgment for anyone that has questions. If you come to only enjoy the food/fun, they dont mind that either! They dont check your Christian card before helping as much as possible.

Great for kids

After listening to Adventures in Odyssey for years with our kids, it was such a treat to visit Focus on the Family. We were immediately greeted at the front door by a friendly woman who explained where everything was and what to do while there-from the history to the purpose film to the basement where you can visit Odyssey. The 2 younger kids loved the 3 story slide and we all enjoyed having ice cream at Whits End. The best part was the scavenger hunt which occupied all of us-even the older 2 children- for the better part of an hour! All for free; It is definitely worth a visit!

This is a fabulous place to take kids. They have a three story slide, and play area for younger children (All indoors so great for a rainy day activity). If you have kids that are at a third grade reading level they can make an Adventures in Odyssey radio recording to take home on a CD (not a broadcast). They have a puppet room as well. The best part is that its all free. The bookstore is awesome, make sure to check it out.

As my kids are book worm so they love reading books. They always visit this store for buying and research different type of books. They also have wonderful childrens play area

Excellent place for families to play, eat and shop.The bookstore is full of Christian resources and gifts for every occasion.Whits End is a delightful place to take the kiddos for some ice cream or lunch.The play area includes a 3 story slide for the big kids, a baby safe play area, and rooms filled with fun for every age.If you call in advance you can schedule a time to record a segment of Adventures in Oddyssey with your kiddos.You can also reserve small birthday party rooms for 15 people or less for intimate parties.They are air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter, so any season is great to bring the kids on down. Fair warning though, it can get touristy mid summer.

We love making the trip to Focus on the Family from Denver! This place is a HUGE blessing to us. We always leave with wonderful memories. Plan to spend half a day to a full day here exploring everything.The lunch menu is very affordable with a great meal deal and the ice cream is great. You can have a wonderful day here at no cost or shop around the bookstore and support their ministry.
