Sheila was incredible! She made sure the parts were in stock prior to our appointment date, and they had the job done immaculately even earlier than I had expected. Very kind and professional people. So back on may 2nd I was hit in a parking garage after the accident I called USAA and they send a tow truck to tow it to Gerber upon the tow truck I had to move it out of the parking garage to give the tow truck access when I did I found a huge puddle of fluids along with fluid following me out of the garage after being at Gerber I was promised by Gerber and USAA that I would get a full inspection of the impact zone and that never happened, they denied that there was a leak anywhere so after calling and calling USAA they finally sent an adjuster out to look at it he claimed he didn’t find anything but wanted me to contact USAA and tell them I wanted to get a second opinion afte no call back for weeks I get a call from Randy the owner of Gerber who was very upset and told me that “i needed to pick up my car they put the bumper back on with zip ties” and was very disrespectful while saying it so after getting a second opinion we found that there was a leak coming from the rack and pinion and our adjuster that looked at it turned out to be very good friends with randy and told up that we should apologize and beg him to do the work on my car. USAA has been informed of this and has put Gerber up for review because they let me leave with an unsafe vehicle and I will continue to try my hardest to get Gerber off the lot of approved USAA shops. Randy is very disrespectful and very hot headed do NOT let them do work for you they are not honest people. Caliber in falcon was amazing to me and John at Caliber was so easy to deal with and very helpful use. Unlike the hotheaded owner Randy at Gerber.

My car had been hit by a tire that came off of another car driving the opposite direction. It created quite a bit of damage to the fender, bumper and wheel well, but Gerber was able to order parts and make it look better than new! Ginny and Phillip were very friendly and helpful throughout the process! They turned a negative experience into a positive one.

Our 2017 Honda CR-V was hit by a softball-sized rock which struck and bent the roof front cross-member just above the windshield. The windshield needed replacing, no big deal, but the roof was a tricky repair. I called my regular auto mechanic who recommended Gerber, since he had done business with them in the past. Also, they are approved by our insurance company, so this was a no brainer.I filed a claim with our insurance company, and told them we would be taking our car to the Gerber location at Mark Dabling Blvd in Colorado Springs. When I arrived there, they had already been contacted by the insurance company and had prepared all the paperwork. Dave Gola the estimator, and one of his top mechanics looked at the damage and estimated the cost to be about $2,100. This seemed reasonable to me, because I had an estimate from another body shop of $2,700.The total time to repair was estimated at 11 (business!) days. Dave kept us informed every step of the way, and we were pleasantly surprised to hear that the repairs were ahead of schedule by 3 days.When we picked up the car, it was in immaculate condition. It had been detailed inside and out, and the damage to the roof is not even noticeable. I cant see any waviness or blistering in the paint - it looks like it just rolled off the assembly line. Thanks Dave! If we ever need auto collision repair services again (jeez, I hope not) we will definitely come back.

This was my first time having to take my car to get body work done, and I was very nervous since this was my first new car. I could not have had better service if I tried to find it. David hit it out of the ballpark with my car. I would give a hundred gold stars if I could. Had my vehicle for over a month, job should not have required that much time per labor hours flagged.. Inconvenience for people who need vehicle asap. The work was great, technicians did fine work.. I believe issue I experienced is office staff and parts needed or anticipated to need and getting them in a timely fashion.

To start, the office staff was rude, unorganized and short with both me and the guy in front of me. Second their employee who was assigned to provide an estimate for the repairs of my Carvana car, literally told me (after a thorough 10 minute inspection) that “Gerber wouldn’t touch This car with a 10 ft pole”. Carvana won’t move forward with the repair without an inspection report from Gerber. When I asked for a simple report saying that they wouldn’t do the repair I got a one word reply saying “no”. I’m not asking for the moon here, I just need something in writing. Rude and incompetent employees plus and a clear disinterest in good customer service puts this place on the buyer-beware list.

Seemed to be a good place initially. After getting my collision damage repaired, strangely, the navigation system no longer worked. Took it back to shop and they didnt want to fix it. Claimed it was not their fault. However, it worked when going into the shop, didnt work when coming out of the shop. Two plus two is four. Since they did some pretty major work, it is quite obvious they did something to damage the electronics. Now I have a broken navigation system to pay for. Very customer focused until they do something wrong. Thats not how you do business.

Prompt turn around on my car. Excellent customer service from Alisha at the front desk to Sheila who oversaw the repair on my vehicle. She even did a thorough walk through with me to show me everything that had been done. And they used authetic Jeep parts to repair - which is phenomenal in my book! The text updates were helpful and I appreciated the communications. Highly recommend!

Brian Jacobson was great to work with. He is friendly and has a helpful attitude, and got my estimate done very quickly and professionally.Unfortunately the shop is extremely backed up right now and cannot do my repair in less than 10 months, so I had to go somewhere else. Be aware of this if you are trying to get work done there in the near future.

My 2010 Toyota Tacoma looked new with only 39,000 miles when it was hit on Mothers Day. Now after work being completed ahead of stated schedule it looks SHOWROOM NEW. This is the third time in three years our family has relied on them with outstanding results. I hope we dont have additional accidents ( none of which were our fault ) but if it happens Ill defiantly rely on the folks here at Gerbers on Mark Dabling for all our needs. Thanks

I was in a car wreck in January and needed my front bumper replaced. Gerber Collision was recommended by my insurance company, and even though it took about a month for them to actually squeeze me in to get the body work done, I am thrilled with the service I was provided. Everyone I interacted with here was friendly, helpful, and communicative. I got email and phone updates every step of the way, and everything was always carefully explained to me in laymans terms but without being condescending. Earl, the head repair technician, was absolutely a pleasure. They even washed and vacuumed my car when the work was done! I couldnt be happier. Hopefully I will never need body work again, but if I do I will definitely use Gerber. Thank you!

Farmers Insurance referred us, what a joke. We brought our truck in for hail damage repair from the 2018 storms. We purposely put off the repairs till my husband could afford to lose his work truck for 2 weeks. So in February we took it in.Problem #1: It took over a month because they forgot to include the roof damage in the original estimate. OK, no big deal.Problem #2: There is still an obvious ding in the door. They repaired many other dings in the same door. But not that one because it is a door ding, not a hail ding. Sure, whatever....Problem #3: My husbands truck has a cap on the back. When we opened it up after we got home there was all kind of trash, coffee cups, tape, and paper left from the repair process. Lazy...Problem #4: Here is a weird one. The liners to his cup holders inside the truck are missing? There was no repairs to be made inside the cab.Problem #5: This is the one irks me the most. Our annual parks pass is missing off our windshield. Someone stole our parks pass!! Cmon guys!! And no the windshield had no repairs as we had already replaced it.So if you want your stuff stolen and the job to take much longer go with Gerber. Next time we will stick with ABRA.

My insurance company sent me here after I was hit by a drunk driver. After they fixed my Lexus they sent me off. I called to complain that my car was acting kind of funny and they told me the car had been in an accident and wouldnt be the same. 😐🤔 When my car overheated (a couple days later) and I took it to a different shop, the mechanic found the radiator empty. 😲 Annnnnnnd a cracked head! When I told my insurance company, they had me contact Gerber again, who told me that it is my responsibility to make sure my radiator was filled. 🤔 Soooooooooo, the car that did not have a leak before my accident and was taken to them for repairs, now not only had a leak, but they didnt catch it, and somehow it was MY responsibility to find problems that occurred during an accident that THEY were paid to fix?!?!? 🤨So, if you are looking to have your car engine ruined and have the mechanic blame you for it, then by all means, bring your car here. But, if you expect a mechanic to find problems and fix them, Id take your car somewhere else.

It’s been a long time since my vehicle has needed body work. I really didn’t know who to call. My mechanic has always been very thorough so I was confident that he could provide a good recommendation. Without skipping a beat, he responded with, “Gerber Collision.” Ronnie at Gerber called me prior to my scheduled date to let me know that she had an opening and could get my car in sooner. My service manager, Doug, assessed the damage and explained the entire claim process with me. He worked with the insurance adjuster to be sure that they covered all of the damage. Gerber Collision kept me informed throughout the process. And, when it was finished, my car was professionally detailed and looked outstanding. This 1 star review has nothing to do with customer service. It has to do with the job that they performed. I turned my car in for hail damage and they painted everything but the front and rear bumper, the drivers door and drivers side front fender. Paint and body work werent bad its the polish they didnt do right. They left polish wheel marks on my passenger side, left my interior filled with dust from the shop. My brand new front windshield had marks in it. They did not polish the pieces they did not paint in order to match the rest of the car. I just trying to wrap my head around why they would give back the car with the interior filthy when I gave it to them spotless. And why a professional body shop doesnt know how to polish.

I usually dont post reviews, but a co-worker, who recently got in a car accident, remembered my experience and asked me for the name of the shop so that she could avoid them. Then the shop suggested I post a review. So, here goes...Someone at the bank recommended this shop because of their rapid turnover. After the initial visit, I had to go in for an additional three times. The first time, they ordered the part for the wrong side of the car, but changed a lightbulb. The second time, they made a mistake and told me they had the part when they didnt; instead, they put a part on the vehicle to make it look fixed. Finally, on the third visit, they had the part, installed it, and washed my car. In conclusion, they took about a month and a half to order and install a mirror, charged me a little over $200, and tried to make up for it with a new lightbulb, a fake mirror, and a car wash. I had to get out of work early several times and delay a trip. Needless to say, they were anything but rapid.

Called asked for an estimate for hail damage. As there was a recent storm I understand they might be busy. Shop told me they would not have time to do an estimate until the 12th of next month. Two weeks to wait for an estimate is unacceptable. If it take two weeks to take time for an estimate then I can only imagine how long it takes to do the work. I will take my business else where. So both family vehicles will be off to another body shop.

Bad place to recommend for the insurance company. My car was hit last three weeks ago and the insurance company told me that they recommend Gerber collision and while its at the shop to be fix on monday, they will get me a rental to drive. I went their on Monday and the guy name Brian Jacobson didnt look like he wanted to help me at all. He examined my car and said he would only fix the physical damage. My car cant drive properly ever since the car crash and theyll only fix the bumber. So I tried giving him the keys and Brian said that I have to wait until the insurance company would approve the cost which was $225.98. The insurance company told me that car would be at the shop to get fix on Monday and now I was told to wait? Time past and my car is not even drivable, so I just got the car from the rental. Its now thursday and the insurance company said that the car wasnt register from the shop to get fixed. I told her what Brian told me and the agent called the shop, she called me back a aparrently they didnt have the parts to fix my car. But yet they didnt have a problem finding the part when I was there on Monday? I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Well done! In the past we have used Red Noland for our USAA auto claims, however they were disappointing in our last claim a year or so ago, so when we had a new claim we decided to try another USAA STARS location. All of our expectations were exceeded, by far! Our contact was Earl Bell, and he kept us informed and up to date. He called to give us the progress updates every 3rd day or so. It was so nice not be left in the dark. We picked up our 2010 Camaro (my baby) yesterday and the car looked showroom new. Fantastic job and you have earned my repeat business!

My wife got into a car crash about 3 weeks ago then we call the insurance company and the lady recommend us this car shop and waited to get an appointment for 1 week. Once we got there the person gave us the estimate once he finished we waited a couple of days and finally after several calls because the person is never there... he told us to call USAA to get an approval.... We call USAA and got the approval and call them back.. again several phone calls and messages to get the person... finally then.... I told him we got the approval When can you give us a estimated date repair..... OHHHH sorry we can take the car until MARCH of next Year??? Or we cant take it at all??? Before the appointment I asked him and explained all the car situation about how it was in a car accident before etc etc and The receptionist told that in the beginning of December we can take the car.... So why make us wait get and estimate and wait almost 3 weeks between appointments to tell us that the cant fix the car????Of course because we did not take the car there for them it means that they do not deserve this review... but if this is the start or an introduction for a car repair you think it will be worth it to take your car there???

Worst shop I have ever been to, they lied to me multiple times and even broke something else off of my car. Its the second time there now since the first time the part they put in broke after 6 months. They have taken a combined 4 weeks for two 3 hour projects. Worst place ever!
