After my truck was damaged in a hit and run, I needed a good body shop to repair the damage. After doing research on body shops in the area, I came across DMI. I made an appointment for the next day for an estimate, the process was very low stress, with no pressure from them to do the repair work. Their primary concern was not for my business, but for the safety of my family. This sold me on DMI. I left my vehicle there to be repaired. Even though they had vehicles ahead of mine to be repaired, they were not ideal with work on my truck, they immediately began ordering/looking for parts. By the time it my trucks turn in the shop, they were able to get started with parts in hand. I was kept apprised of the progress of my truck at each step. The day came when I was able to pickup my truck, and holy cow, it didn’t even look like it had been in an accident. It looked brand new, like the day I drove it off the lot. There is no evidence it was damaged at all. I am extremely pleased with level of work done and attention to detail. I hope, I don’t need a body shop any time soon, but if I do, DMI is where I will be going.

Honest, guaranteed quality work. I highly recommend DMI Collisions Center. My car was leaking water into the front passenger floor. After two auto repair businesses failed to identify the problem, I went to DMI Collision. J.P. explained that leaks were difficult to find, that there was a labor cost associated to determine the source of the leak, and briefly explained what they would do to find the leak. I approved and gave the go ahead for the work. A couple of days later J.P. called me. They found the source of the leak and determined that there was a failure with some work they had done previously for hail damage. He stated that DMI would make it right and fixed the failed area of my car. He easily could have given me a repair cost and any number of reasons for a leak. Instead DMI stood by its work and it cost me nothing for the repair. I am so grateful to DMI Collision Center for their honesty and amazing concern for their customers. I will continue to trust DMI for all of our automobile body work.

This is the 4th time Ive used DMI and they never fail to impress. They have done hail repair and a bumper repair on my Mercedes and it looks like brand new. DMI did a great job with my Jeep. I was rear-ended at 30~40 mph by a girl texting on her phone. They helped coordinate care with my insurance company, and worked hard to make sure I didnt get stuck as the middle man. ~2 weeks later after drop off, my Jeep is good as new. DMI was nothing but superb. My car received extensive glass shard damage from an accident on I25 (you can see the damage on the pictures). JP (the owner) was professional, competent and extremely knowledgable. In fact the entire staff was great. My insurance company sent me a list of preferred auto collision centers....problem was that the preferred centers couldnt fix the damage until 4 months in the future. I took a chance with DMI (their reviews and reputation were great) and I gotta say that I would give DMI an A+ for service and another A+ for getting the job done right.

This is my 3rd car that DMI worked on and they did a great job. They have the best customer service I ever dealt with. They are very detailed on the process they going to do. They even washed the car and detailed my tires. Something I never experienced with other body shops. I want to give a special shout-out to DMI Collision Center and the owner, JP. My car was backed into in a 7-11 parking lot causing major damage. Big bummer! With everything else going wrong with the world and my life, this is the last thing I wanted to deal with...someone elses insurance. I live about two blocks from DMI Collision Center and had been driving by it for 3 years. What made me think of them immediately was the mannequins they have in their showroom window, always changing position and fashions, making me always look what was new when I drove by. Location to my home was a plus as well. I stopped in for an estimate and I want to say that I sure am happy I did. I felt welcome and in good hands from the very moment I stepped thru the door. JP, the owner, is a down to earth man and I felt I could trust him immediately. Very professional to say the least. He happily gave me an estimate and explained all that I need to know, giving me a copy of that estimate before I left at no charge. What made it even sweeter was him taking care of all the details with the other persons insurance company so I did not have to. And, to top it off, he even arranged with the insurance to have me a rental car ready on the date I was bringing my car in for repair. I literally did nothing, JP did it all. Whoo!...stress relieved. The icing on the cake was when I got the car back completely repaired. Great work. I could not find a single detail that had been overlooked. Even the paint, on the side of the vehicle that had been hit, matched all the way down the entire side with the panel that had not been wrecked. You could not tell it had ever been hit or that repair was done. They even took the time to detail the entire outside of the vehicle before returning it to me...including polishing the tries! It gave me the feeling that I was special, which is how every customer should feel when doing business in the world today. I was 100% satisfied and have given this company 5 stars for their overall professional and courteous attitude, service, and attention to detail, a rarity in todays marketplace. God forbid you are ever in an accident or need body repair, but if you are, do yourself a favor and experience for yourself everything I explained above. Over the course of them having my car, things got tight, in the terms of money. They helped me out when it came to paying for everything, which is something I’ve never experienced with other shops. All of the workers were also very nice and professional. The owner was incredibly nice. He was always open to talk about my car and how everything was going. I have my car back today’s nd I’m very happy with it.

Amazing company. Quality work but when I had an issue with my headliner rattling thats when the customer service shined. They made arrangements to come to my work and fix it there so I wouldnt have to take time out of my day to deal with it. Its when things dont go as planned that a company shows it true colors and DMI handled it great! I will definitely be using them again when I need repairs and will be recommending my friends/family to them as well.

We took my wifes vehicle to DMI with severe hail damage. Other places wouldnt even see it for an estimate until months later, but DMI got us in quickly. DMI is definitely my favorite body shop in town! Very helpful, kind, prompt. But, the most important thing--their work. Clean, well done. Welds look like factory--paint is matched perfectly. If something is wrong, they will fix it. OEM parts. They can take a while to get your job in, but basically every body shop is like that in Colorado Springs right now.

So far it’s been a rough ride, my vehicle has been in their shop for over 3 months. I was not getting any updates until I started requesting for them or calling myself. The completion date seems to change on a weekly basis and now I’m beginning to lose more money on vehicle rentals than my actual deductible itself. Hopefully I get good news soon.

Unfortunately someone back up into my new 2018 Dodge Durango rt at sea world but the crew at DMI collision took care of everything. There was a small issue when I went to pick up my vehicle the first time but they stand by their lifetime warranty and they immediately took the vehicle back and made sure everything was in pristine condition. If you need collision care in Colorado Springs, the best place in to take your vehicle is DMI Collision Care.My husband and I were visiting Colorado Springs in September 2017. While there we had what appeared to be a minor issue with the under carriage cover to our 2015 Hyundai Sonata. As it turned out the damage also included our front bumper. We had to locate our own body shop and were overwhelmed by the choices because we were from out of town. We found DMI Collision Center on a Google search. When we walked in we were greeted by the owner Jeff J.P Prince who introduced himself. We were met by Sheila and Casey (not sure how she spells it) who offered us a comfortable seat and a cool drink. We were grateful for both. Over the next three days we were updated along every step of the process by Sheila. She explained everything that was happening with our repair and the claims process with Geico. Her thoroughness put us at ease immediately. I feel like everyone there went above and beyond to get us back on the road. When the repairs were finished, we walked in, paid the deductible and left our rental car there. We were back on the road and very satisfied. Take my word for it: if you need collision care in Colorado Springs, DMI Collision Center is the place to take your vehicle.

I recently brought in my Toyota 4-runner to get repaired and wanted to share with everyone how happy I was to have DMI on my side. They carefully went over the initial estimate with me and then followed up with my insurance company to make sure all the necessary repairs were documented and handled properly. They made the process quick and easy and the car looked fantastic when I got it back. This was the 2nd time Ive gone to DMI and both times they were professional, on-time and thorough. I highly recommend them. Quality counts and they are the very best at what they do.

I very am disappointed in the level of misunderstanding between the staff members. The owner was contacted several weeks ago for hail damage repairs and I was given a date to arrive. On that day an older gentleman helped my mom and I but could not find record of my appointment. He then attempted a reschedule which I believe is unreasonable given we had email confirmation of our appointment. He reluctantly accepted the vehicle after attempting to delay the process further with an estimate. Again the owner confirmed that my third party estimate would be accepted. After two days a woman called to apologize for the confusion and explained that the gentleman had not read the books correctly. Then she attempted yet another reschedule stating I had contacted them about needing my vehicle back. No such contact was made and while I am willing to entertain the idea of mixing up client requests, I am suspicious that they had over booked themselves and were not ready to make repairs. The repairs also were not started at the time of this call and I was told they would take two days. This company needs a severe overhaul of their administrative practices. While I appreciate the polite treatment from the employees, I do not like the manner in which they attempted to delay my services when they were at fault. Most customer service workers seek to prioritize and expedite services for mishandled clients and I strongly suggest DMI do the same. I will not be treated as an afterthought or an inconvenience and I especially will not accept any weaseling out or dishonesty. If any further issues occur, DMI should expect BBB complaint.

We had a an overall good experience with this auto body shop. The repair work they did looks very nice and was reasonable for the price. They even cleaned out the interior of the car for us before returning it to us. Our experience may have been unique, but they had our car about a week longer than they had anticipated and were not very good about communicating with us. We would always have to call about the status, even on the day we were originally going to pick up the vehicle. We also had to return for a small repair after the fact, but they were very helpful and fixed it right away.

Great experience! My car was involved in an accident during one of our first winter storms. I called DMI Collision Center and right away they dispatched a tow truck to retrieve my vehicle. As soon as my insurance company was able approve the repairs they began working on it. The kept in contact with me, my insurance company and the insurance company of the person at fault. They made time to answer every question I had during the repairs too. When I was able to finally get my vehicle back it was beautiful. My car looked as good as it did when I purchased it, it was so clean inside and out! It was a great experience under the circumstances.

This is my third time bringing my SUV to DMI. As a businessman it is important for me to be able to trust another business. I have always put my trust with JP. Color matching has always been the best. I have had several cars done by other body shops in town and the color was not always exact. My vehicle comes back with the interior clean and detailed. JP always goes over everything and makes sure you are taken care of right from the start including arranging your rental car. All of the staff at DMI is always very helpful and courteous. They are the BEST.

DMI Collision is one of the best places in town to get body work done in the Springs. I have used them for years with my cars and they go above and beyond anything other body shops typically do. The last time I went there JP got the price down for the work down to what was necessary versus adding extra work (much less than several other body shops that quoted me a price). John at DMI worked with Geico and was able to get them to repair it! The repairs look amazing, I am so pleased! I had the worlds greatest pickup truck. Another pick up ran a red light and hit my truck doing severe damage to the passenger side front fender, bumper and hood. DMI Collision Center did the repairs and made my pickup look like a brand new truck, It was a 2002. I then sold the truck for 25% over blue book price. JP and DMI Collision Center are the very best body shop anywhere.

My wife had chosen DMI for repairs on my truck based on the reviews she seen here, I had to go to the field for two weeks leaving my wife to handle the whole process....... They went above and beyond to make sure she was notified throughout the whole process and never once did she feel taken advantage of. My truck looks amazing and she cant stop raving about the customer service thanks again for all your hard work and basic honesty, it set my heart at ease knowing she was taken care of!

I needed to find a body shop to get a cosmetic dent repaired on my 2012 VW Golf. After a Google service I found DMI. I stopped by for a consult and they took pictures and were extremely friendly. At that point, getting the repair done was based on finances. Shortly after that visit, life went on until I got a card in the mail with a picture of my damage and the reassurance that they can make it happen. After that I was sold and made an appointment. I was seamlessly connected with Enterprise for a rental and didnt miss a step. I was called daily on the status of my car and when I could pick it up. When I picked my car up, the same friendly staff made sure I was satisfied and to my surprise, my car had been fully detailed on top of the repair. Mind you, when I brought it in was a heavy snow melt day. I would recommend DMI to anyone that loves great local service and a happy experience!

DMI is the way to go!! They (namely John) did a fantastic job helping me sweeten up my 2016 Civic! They added a rear roof spoiler, a rear spoiler, side moldings, a hood scoop, interior colored lights and when helped fit my seat covers!! The price send customer service cannot be beat!!

I took my 16 year old car to DMI for some body work after receiving what I thought was reasonable estimate. They completed the work promptly and kept in touch every step of the way. My old car looked amazing, and pretty darn close to new when they were done, I was very pleased with their service and courteous staff. JP at DMI is wonderful to work with! The waiting room is very very clean, bathrooms are super clean and they have a stocked fridge full of good stuff. I had a great experience with DMI. I had a door that wasnt sealing and wanted to get it fixed. They did an estimate, which was a great price, and then when my new door came in they did the work fast, and at the same price that they quoted me. There was no extra bullsh**. I highly recommend them if you are paying out of pocket and want to actually fix your car. If you are looking to get an overpriced estimate so you can pocket insurance money...I recommend someone else.

I wad looking to get the bumper on my Dodge Nitro replaced. I had already gotten another estimate when I drive past DMI Collision Center. I got the estimate and I knew right then and there they were going to be the one fixing my car. JP explained everything to me. I took my vehicle to DMI for an estimate. I was told it would take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete the estimate process. After waiting approximately 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, someone finally looked over my vehicle. This process took nearly an hour to complete. Although I appreciate how thorough they were, be honest and upfront about everything so people can plan accordingly. I was then told that they would forward the estimate to the insurance company for review and I would be copied on the email. Two days go by and I had not received anything so I called the company. They did not answer the phone so I left a message (which was never returned). 3 days later I called again only to find out that they still had not sent the information to the insurance company. I would not recommend this place to anyone...take your car somewhere else to get repaired. They are horribly understaffed and nonchalant about their work at best.

Very dissatisfied. Gave me my truck back with a check engine light on. Paint job is bad.my truck was brand new and was told that an alignment would tell them if a rotor is warped. They just took 7000.00 and didnt do anything. The owner was never there when I needed to pick up and forced me to sign a paper to get my truck without testing it. Very poor professionalism from the owner. Do not know how to detail. Water damage on the headliner from spraying with pressure washer.

The customer service is beyond amazing! They fixed out suv from hail damage and it came back looking better than when we purchased the vehicle. We are VERY pleased and will definitely recommend DMI! They have a quality of excellence that is hard to find nowadays.

I drove my wounded 1999 Honda Odyssey to DMI after a collision, upon the advice of our favorite mechanic. The liability had yet to be established, not to mention whether the older van was totalled or not. Even though the van ended up being totalled, DMI was so kind to me, educating me on the entire process and helping me to avoid costly mistakes in dealing with the other persons insurance company. Ill recommend them to all of my friends and family, as they were exactly what I needed and much more than I ever expected.

Very traditional excellent customer service. Very regular phone updates. The work was excellent, also. My car didnt look this good when it came off the showroom. They interfaced seamlessly for me with the insurance company. Very little delay in doing the work, as opposed to long schedule waits at the other shops I got estimates from.

DMI Collision Center went above and beyond on the paint job on my car! I was dropped off and my car was also delivered to me since I dont have any transportation while my car is in service. It was a quick turn around and I was very satisfied. Thank you! I highly recommend DMI Collision.

Once I delivered my car to DMI for repair, they evidently felt comfortable in prioritizing my work below that of other cars in the shop. By the date they estimated completion, my work had not been even started. They finally completed the 2-day job five days late and offered no compensation. I did not receive the respect I expect from a business that depends on customer service, especially given their online claims. My experience with DMI has amounted to a strong endorsement for Maaco.

Overall I had a positive experience with DMI. I initially called them and decided to take my truck there due to the numerous good reviews on google. I am in no way disappointed about the decision either. They had my truck for about a month due to the work that needed to be completed. There were a couple times that I was not satisfied about timing issues but J.P., the owner, resolved them in a more timely fashion than I could have imagined possible. The reason for the 5 stars is the quality of the work and the customer service. Even when everything is not running smoothy DMI does everything in their power to make sure that you are a valued customer and you are taken care of and completely satisfied. I would take my truck back here in a heartbeat and try to be more understanding myself about issues that come up because I am sure that I was a hard customer to deal with as my truck is like my child.

The guys at DMI really took care of me and my car. It was more then I expected. They were able to get be right in, and they took care of all the insurance paperwork as well as getting me into a rental car. It was a very smooth process that I couldnt be happier about.
