Im not very tech savvy. Brian R was very friendly and detailed everything such that I understood what I was buying and what everything cost (I really appreciate not having surprise charges). Ill definitely be back.
I went there recently to see about upgrading my phone, and had a good experience. They explained all the contractual terms and charges clearly, without being pushy or trying to up-sell me on something more expensive. I got exactly the phone I wanted and Im very happy with it thus far.

We visited AT&T at South Park today and the manager Mindy displayed the patience of a saint. We were there for quite awhile and she did not become irritated with our lack of knowledge in the use of our new phones or watches. Her staff was amazing also. Go there to get questions answered
Once I entered the store I didnt have to wait because there were several employees on the floor. My issue was resolved in a timely manner.

I called about a week and a half ago and got information on changing my carrier and upgrading my phone and Bryant (I hope im spelling his name correctly) was very patient with all of my questions and gave me detailed information. Then today I came into the store and a gentleman named Jovan assisted me. Very friendly and patient as well. The information I was told over the phone was the same information he told me in the store. He made the process very easy for someone who is as indecisive as I am. Thank you so much! Brian/Bryan was very helpful with helping me make a decision for a new phone. He explained the differences between three different phone options which made it easier to make a selection. He also sold me on a very convenient phone case that I wouldnt have otherwise bought without his persuasion.

Wonder store! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Took me forever only because I forgot to backup my phone. The nice lady helped me back up all my stuff and made sure it all got sent over, and was super patient with me. We chatted and had a great experience. Would highly recommend!

I had a great experience at this store! I had a very difficult issue that I knew was going to take a while but they were so patient and so helpful to everything I needed to complete. Even though my issue took a long time, I saw the manager constantly greet the people walking in and sign them in as soon as possible so they could get in queue. I would recommend this store and I highly recommend going to AT&T online to make an appointment so that you can easily get in and avoid any waiting.

I want to express my great gratitude for the manager of the AT&T store in Colonial Heights Virginia. My son died May 15th, I took his death certificate to an AT &T store in Virginia Beach where he lived to close out his account and get his phone released. There was only 1 month left on the payoff. I was informed that they would zero the account and unlock the phone in 2-3 days. The phone was not unlocked and I returned the following week. I was informed that it was out of his hands and that when the next billing cycle passed, the phone would be able to be unlocked. I waited 6 weeks and continued to attempt to unlock the phone to no avail. On July 27th, exactly two months after I had given them the death certificate, I called customer service. They said they would bump my request to the back office and that I would get a return phone call within 72 hours; they did not call. I tried using the Facebook social media help chat. They asked me for my son’s pass-code (we don’t have it and he was not alive to give it to us), and referred us back to an AT & T store. On August 6th, we entered the store at Colonial Heights, we were greeted by the manager and we told him the difficulties and extreme frustrations we were having getting this last bit of business done.He looked at our documentation that showed that we inherited the phone, and he called customer service. It seems it took someone from Advance Tech Support to unlock the phone. This is where the manager shines. On the first time transferring, they hung up on him. On the second transfer, what was supposed to be a 5 to 10-minute wait ended up 30 minutes, and they sent him to the wrong section. They transferred him yet again, telling him a 5 to 10-minute wait; it was another 30 minutes. While waiting he swapped sim chips with our personal phones to see if that would work, when he finally got through to Advance Tech Support, they unlocked the phone, but the manager would not let Advance Tech off the line until he tried it himself.The first word that comes to mind is compassion – he was not going to let us out of the store until we had the problem solved, because he cared. Tenacious – long waits and bad transfers were not going to stop him. An Observant Multi-tasker – even while taking care of us, he was directing his staff to take care of others and making sure the store was continuing to be sanitized between customers.I highly recommend this store and their manager Paul M. for its customer service!
I inquired about why my taxes and surcharges were close to $40 for 2 phones. I only pay $8 with Verizon. The lady was unhelpful and said VA tax is high. Its one of the lowest in the country.Im sticking with Verizon.
This place is a joke in my opinion. They don’t want to help customers, but yet I can go to White Oak and get just what I needed. These employees need better training and customer service skills.
The worst experience since AT&T switched, 4 months of lies, hang-ups, mis communication, billed me for 7 boxes,only had 3, lied to me about a free up grade and still want me to pay!! Please come get your merchandise and Im done! I hate a lier and a pesron to insult my intelligence on a business matter!! Stop the mis communication with people and giving us the run around on our bills! The Covid-19 is real and some people just dont care !! I just moved and ask for upgrade and its been awful just to get my bill straight because of the LIES!!
Helpful and friendly. Place gets very full and wait can be long if more than 2 people waiting around. Dont expect to get anything done quickly. Takes a while to make changes to account, set up new equipment, etc. But if you need assistance to get it all done, best to go in, otherwise order online and set up yourself.
Every time I need any assistance with my service the guys here are always on it!! I also have a prepaid plan and did not buy my cell from them directly. For them to help anytime something changes or happens...they get my vote Every time. Exceptional customer service.

I cant say much about the store because I didnt find what I needed but I did have to wait a super long time just to find out they they couldnt help me with what I needed. They had a good waiting area tho and their products seemed nice but the wait really killed me. I guess if they had been able to help me, I would have had a different experience

I just got off the phone with the number on the phone bill and those reps. were terrible. They would not even let me talk to a supervisor to resolve my issue. REALLY!! REALLY?? FCUK AT&T!
Just like most cellular stores lies lies lies. Not good to tell customers one thing then do another. I am smarter so I wasnt the customer they liked to this time. It was a friend. I learned my lesson 8 years ago. Please be careful people. Verizon does the same thing. I say make sure you get it in writing.

This AT&T is horrible. They dont care about how their customers feel. I had THE WORST experience. They lie to customers and then dont follow up when they get caught. They make you pay more than what you were told in the beginning. I CANT WAIT UNTIL MY CONTRACT IS UP, THEY ARE THE WORST !!!
Hillary was awesome and took care of everything we needed. Over the phone reps have made switching to AT&T a total mess but this store’s customer service really makes up for it.

The three customers they were tending to had great service. Went through the entire phone with the customer and every feature and how to use it (thats what the user guides for). The five customers that walked out because of the overly extensive explanation of the phones features is what kills this place. I waited 1 1/2 hours this morning and I decided it was smarter to make an appointment. Guess whos still waiting for the same reasons...even with an appointment. Two at&t reps with one customer. Thankfully I only have to make this last visit and never come back to this store.

I arrived at 1030am and wasnt seen til a little after 12pm...now that is ridiculous..the staff did nothing too spend up the process to get everyone out at a reasonable time...there was two ppl at first and one walked in and went straight to the back she finally came out once more ppl started coming in. Been coming to this store since 2009 and now customer service is a joke. There use to be a few service reps on the floor at a time and hardly any waiting. Now you only see 2 people working and customers all waiting. Gave an alibi when i came in on the weekend at lunch, it is Thursday after 3 and crowded again. What has happened. This store has went down terribly.
Just got the Iphone 7 plus they had a promotion for $650 trade-in went in with my trade-in and spoke to a lady representative asked her about it and she said that promotion was over..I asked again and another gentleman came over and said it was over. Called my Son and he told me I just got ripped off. Called AT&T online and they verified that I am owed the $650 credit..those guys do not know what they are doing. I am never going their again!
Was ok but still didnt get my BILL DATES on my cellphone,internet, house phones, and cable to COINCIDE WITH MY PAYDATE!!!!! IN OTHER WORDS MY WIFE AND I WERE NOT VERY PLEASED WHEN WE LEFT THE A T AND T STORE ESPECIALLY WHEN WE WENT ANOTHER ROUND THE NEXT DAY TO WITH A T AND T OVER THE PHONE FOR THE SAME REASON

Service was rushed and employee didnt even know their product line. I knew more about products and inventory than she did. She tried to sell me on a contract service but had no idea what competitors offered and how much more ATT was comparatively.
Their phones are really fragile. Be careful with the screens on both the Samsung s9 and the apple x. They break real easy.

Long wait times every time you go there. Staff is friendly but spends so much time interacting with customers in front of them whoever is next in line waits forever. Frustrating to wait over 30 minutes to buy a new $300 phone when people only spending $50 on misc talk to the sales rep for 20 mins...

Walked around 35 minutes trying to find an employee to talk to about buying more services from AT&T. The employees were all lounging around having personal conversations with customers. When I finally found an employee with a tablet I waited about five minutes for him to finish his personal conversation with customers. When I finally saw that I had a small opening to interrupt I ask excuses me sir can I put my name on the waiting list, then one of the men who I thought was a customer (wearing an un-tucked t-shirt and jeans) said to me in a very passive-aggressive tone to wait 5 minutes for them to finish. Ten minutes later the guy (who I thought was a customer) comes up to me and asked what I wanted. It was then that I saw his name tag that said Robert and Manager on it. I was so shocked that not only was that store that horrible in customer service but that its manager was there witnessing how little his employees cared to help customers. Never going back again. Whether in stores or on the phone AT&Ts customer service is horrible. Changing providers ASAP.

On Friday when Javon helped us he did all he could do for us and we werent sure if we wanted this ServiceWe attempted to leave and the manager almost chased us out the door trying to see what she could do to help us (very nice at this point) until on Sunday when my husband wasnt satisfied with his phone and wanted to exchange it. She was very rude and loud speaking to us as if she wasnt even the same person from Friday. I want everyone to know that if you go there beware of these RUDE, TWO- FACED, GRUMPY MANAGER!!!!!!
I would neverIf anyone is thinking about switching I wouldnt NOT I repeat I would NOT switch to AT&T. I have spent three days on the phone with them. First my phone service, I couldnt place calls siting in my house, or send text out. I would have to walk outside to place calls. When we switched from Verizon to AT&T we got direct tv, digital life, tablets, and two phones! None of the service have worked properly. My son had brain surgery and we need to stay in contact with the doctors and we are not able too because of the service.The customer service in store and over the phone is the worse I have ever dealt with. They have said since September 28 that they were sending a network extender out and here it is October 1st and I have called several times and it still has not been sent out. Everytime I call they give me the run around. I have been told that we need to connect to wifi calling and it takes it forever to connect or doesnt at all. Then while on wifi calling if you have to call 911 it will not allow you or you have to enter a address so that if it does allow you the police/emt/fire know where to go.I went into the store on September 30th because after calling customer services they told me to go into the store and exchange my phone. Once getting to the store they looked at me like I was stupid. Then they had me call customer service I spent an hour on the phone with them at the store. To only get transferred from one person to another. Then asked to be transferred to warranty the lady just transferred me to someone else within AT&T. So there went another hour and half of time wasted.Then October 1st I spent an hour on the phone with them to find out a tablet had been order under my account that I did not receive and was being charged for.Keep in mind we have only been with them for TWO months and already dealing with this!!Im going to the Better Business Bureau AT&T should not be allowed to operate with this kind of customer service!!!I WOULD NEVER USE AT&T!!! go with
