The Auto a shop is a total professional operation. It’s well organized, clean, and properly equipped with excellent mechanics. Jay runs a top notch shop and takes good care of his customers. I highly recommend this good company. Jay just recently sorted out an issue with the manifold on my Ford F-250 and it’s back to running like brand new.

The Autoshop was recommended to me as the #1 shop in Cody and they didn’t disappoint. Jay and the crew were able to fit me in on short notice and troubleshoot my custom 4x4 van hub issues. With a bunch of phone calls and some overnight shipping they had me back on the road in a couple of days. They also provided me with several alternative solutions to save time/money and future issues. I’m not a local, but the next time I pass through Cody I’ll set up an appointment to have the Autoshop take care of whatever needs attention.

This is my go-to shop for any repairs I cant/wont do on my own. Jay is always upfront and honest with me about what needs to be priority repairs and what can wait. Yes, they are a bit expensive, Ill admit that. But for me, the extra cost is worth the piece of mind that the work was done correctly. Making an appointment is the best way to get in and out of there quickly. Highly recommend.

On our way to a camping trip to Cooke City our truck over heated while pulling the camper just outside of Cody. By FAR the best service we have EVER received. Not only did they stay open past hours to work on our truck, Mike Yager went out of his way to drive us to where our camper was parked to make sure the truck was running properly! Outstanding dedication to his work and outstanding customer service. We will be driving from Billings Mt to Cody for any services for our truck! Hands down the best experience in such a tight situation!

900+ dollar for battery, shock and struts and they didnt do a re-alignment I thought that would have been part of the price since it didnt have an alignment issue when it went in. They drop the ball big time and wouldnt fix it when I call Jay, he said it would be an additional fee. AVOID THIS SHOP, SHOTTY WORK AND COAST AS MUCH A THE DEALERSHIP.

Jay and Mike at the Auto Shop have been working on my vehicles (4) for the last 5 years or so. They go WAY beyond on their service, expertise, etc. Ive always said, when you find a mechanic that you trust, stick with them. They ALWAYS will have my business!

The sasquatch who runs this two bit hustler shop replaced my parts with the cheapest garbage he could find, tripled the cost on top and replaced parts that were still good to boost his profits. When the new front diff actuator went bad I took it back and the sob did it the same thing!!! Cheap partsAgain I have been left stranded and stuck today. I swear id kick him through the uprights right now.
